• Ryan (10/5): Overall, it was a lovely stay. No way was this a luxury stay but definitely up there in terms of comfort and what Raja A - The host was exceptionally organized and helpful. She attentive to our every need. The food was plentiful and breakfast was great (probably the best food we had out of all the homestays we stayed at). The bungalows are cozy and right on the water which gave it a slight sea breeze. The bathrooms weren’t “far” but it was quite the walk depending which bungalow you are in. Also, the bathroom can be cleaner and smell a bit more pleasant. Hopefully in the future they can get a toilet that will be able to flush (instead of bucket water).

• BRERAT (10/5): Endroit soigné - Le lieu est très beau, très bien entretenu avec des petites allées soignées, des espaces déterminés. Bungalow propre et bien agencé, plusieurs pontons pour le snorkeling. L’ensemble du personnel est adorable et fait entretenu sorte que le séjour soit superbe. Je recommande sans problème
• Lavinia (10/5): - The overwater bungalows are wonderful. The house reef is in good condition and we saw a lot of marine life just in front of the homestay. The pier means you can easily get in the water even at low tide. The food was very good, and the afternoon snack was a nice surprise! They cleaned the room daily, and the shared toilets were clean. The place feels more like a resort than a homestay, especially as they seem to be expanding so they have quite a lot of rooms and guests. So it’s not your typical Raja homestay experience but definitely a good place to recharge for a few days before heading to more typical smaller homestays. The mosquito net was not very effective at keeping mosquitoes out.

Bungalow was the best we stayed in and loved the under bungalow lights to show the sea life at night. Very accommodating for vegetarian. Fantastic jetty to access super house reef even at low tide. Well- made steps to sea right outside each bungalow. Thank you Pheedra and team - we hope to return. Nothing although the "path" to Suaranderek village was challenging...nothing to do with the homestay!
• Silvia (10/5): - C'è tutto quello che serve, il bungalow era perfetto, a parte il bagno in comune distante dal nostro alloggio, la barriera corallina è INCREDIBILE, e non c'è bisogno di nuotare al largo per trovarla, si trova immergendosi direttamente dal pontile. Abbiamo visto tantissimi pesci e coralli colorati, e tartarughe. Anche il cibo ottimo, basic ma buono! Nulla da dire, abbiamo passato 3 giorni davvero piacevoli :)

A refaire sans aucun problème. - La situation en front de mer, le personnel accueillant et chaleureux La nourriture très répétitive, les canalisations des douches qui étaient régulièrement coupées. Le Wifi non présent dans les chambres et régulièrement coupé au lobby, les chiens errants aux alentours.
• Maksim (10/5): Невероятное место проживания куда тянет вернуться снова и снова - Спустя 3 месяца я возвращаюсь в Теримакасих уже с большой компанией - 8 человек, мы все проживали в 4х домиках. Гостевой дом расширяется - на дальнем конце строятся большие 2х этажные дома. Но места всем гостям предостаточно, уровень качества оказываемых услуг нисколько не стал хуже, напротив стал более клиенто-ориентированным, мы познакомились с хозяином гостевого дома - Марио и провели немало времени в познавательных беседах. Спасибо Марио за приглашение встретить закат на удаленном острове и наша особая благодарность от всей команды за круг почета при обратном отъезде из гостевого дома в порт Соронга! Это было до слез приятно! Мы обязательно встретимся этой осенью!
• Sandro (9/5): - Die Anlage ist sorgfältig gepflegt und war für uns eine unserer schönsten, komfortabelsten und saubersten Unterkünfte in Raja Ampat. Das Hausriff ist wunderschön und sehr vielfältig und artenreich - eine Empfehlung! Hat uns persönlich besser als das Westufer von Kri gefallen. Für Raja Ampat Verhältnisse ist es eine große Anlage und überragt ein Homestay und hat mehr den Charakter eines kleinen Resorts. Aufgrund des großen Gästeaufkommens hoffen wir, dass die Umwelt nicht auf der Strecke bleibt.

• david (10/5): Pklease take good care of Raja Ampat delicate environment - Terimkasih is a clean, stylish and comfortable homestay that delivers terrific value. We stayed 16 nights and had truly a blast. Mario and Fitra and the entire staff worked so hard to make our vacation unforgettable and they succeeded with flying colors! I would absolutely recommend this Homestay to anyone visiting Raja Ampat. Unfortunately the rustic elegance of Terimakasih (which is kept spotless) starkly contrast with one of Raja Ampat main issues: Plastic pollution. Once you leave the homestay and visit the different sites (on land and in the ocean) plastic is simply everywhere when you hike, when you snorkel and when you dive. Whether you book your stay here or at any other homestay you will be affected. A lot can be done. First simple steps may include beach cleanups with travelers participation, have boat men collect trash during downtime and engage local communities (teach them about the importance of the environment and share the financial benefits with them) and the local government. I hope the Homestays can see the importance of Raja Ampat Nature which is their main financial resource and emerge as leaders driving the change that is so necessary to preserve Raja Ampat for future generations.

• Natalie (10/5): - Absolutely magical place… our favorite place we have ever stayed. The bungalows are all very well kept and clean, well maintained. You can walk right out into a beautiful reef and see turtles/ lots of fish everywhere. The best part of the stay is the wonderful staff- everyone is so nice and makes it feel like home. The trips are all very organized to see the other islands. The food was amazing, we did not want to leave after 5 days!

Die Anlage ist etwas größer mit vielen Bungalows, wodurch dies kein kleiner abgelegener Homestay ist. Obwohl es keine eigene Tauchschule gibt, befindet sich eine sehr gute Tauchschule in der Nähe, sodass Tauchausflüge problemlos organisiert werden können.

• David (10/5): - The property is very well-maintained and clean. The staff cleaned the entire premises and the individual cottages every day. The team was helpful, especially when it came to organizing excursions or arranging transfers to our next stay. There are three types of cottages available. We stayed in the large two-story overwater cottage, which was exceptionally spacious and comfortable. It was situated directly over the sea with its own private steps into the water. The house reef is stunning, with healthy corals and plenty of fish. The currents here can be quite strong, so stay alert and monitor the conditions while snorkeling. Although this is one of the larger homestays (around 15 cottages), the communal areas are plenty large enough for everyone to find a comfortable spot to relax. For those who like to explore, there are also nice walking paths around the island. We used the nearby Mantastic Dive Center and they were excellent. Their service is professional and the staff is top-notch. I highly recommend them! If you book your dives with them, their boat will pick you up directly at the Terimakasih Homestay. There was always plenty of food, so you definitely won't go hungry. However, the meals could have been a bit more creatively seasoned or flavorful. It was a bit basic, even by local homestay standards.

• Sophie (8/5): Goed verblijf - Wij zaten in een nieuw huisje. Erg ruim en mooi opgezet. De ligging is perfect. Wij hadden helaas veel last van ratten in ons huisje. Het eten was niet geweldig. Het eten is tussen 19-21, maar als je om 19.30 komt is het koud en heeft iedereen eigenlijk al gegeten.
• Glenn (10/5): Einmalig und Abenteuerisch - Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich nett. Wir wurden herzlichst empfangen und hatten eine tolle Zeit. Das homestay bietet Mega viele Touren an zu sehr bezahlbaren Preisen. Das war auch der Grund warum wir ganze 8 Nächte dort waren und wir würden es wieder tun. Es war Mega und wir können es nur weiterempfehlen. Ich habe noch meinen Tauchschein in 2 Tagen bei Mantastic abgeschlossen welches sich direkt neben dem homestay befindet. Es war eine super Zeit Leider gab es bei der Rückreise ein wenig Absprachefehler. Kümmert euch früh genug darum, da es mit der Fähre nicht immer leicht ist und man manchmal gar kein Ticket bekommt und ein Speedboat für sehr viel Geld bezahlen muss.

• Amanda Isabell (9/5): Amazing stay! - Accomodation was one of the better (of the 5 home stays we stayed at)! A bit more “commercial” and not so personal as the other Homestays, so it is more the personal preference. Food was great but you needed to be there in the beginning of the serving time since it fast got “sold out”. They could have made this better by atleast have the protein as plate served, so not some guests are taking more than was calculated. Also eggs were finished after the first 5 guests when we came the first morning. Every second day (during our stay at least) they came with afternoon snack to the houses, which was a nice surprise. Toilets and bathrooms were more fresh and modern than other homestays we were at, but still toilet with no flush and cold showers (but coming from a pipe up in height and not bucket shower). Electricity on between 18-05, strong wifi available from 18 to bedtime in the restaurant. Amazing house reef and we saw turtles and a lot of fish. Some of the other guests saw a manta ray just outside. The currant can however be very strong some days, so be careful. Incredible view for the stars in the evening from the pier. On the pick up from the previous Homestay, we saw dolphins and the boat driver did not hesitate but turn around and gave us an amazing experience we did not expect! He was also bringing us to the manta point twice during our stay and was amazing! Could not speak a word English but was so dedicated and passionated about his work (guy with dreads). The homestay is very lucky to have him employed! The prices for the excursions are very affordable compared to other Homestay, which makes it possible to take an extra than maybe previously planned. They also had beer and Coca Cola available for extra charge. The service was great but not as personal as other homestays. You can buy beer and rent snorkeling gear by them directly

• Rafał (10/5): Serdecznie polecam! - Najlepszy homestaye w jakim byliśmy na Raja Ampat. Plus to bieżąca woda, czystość i bardzo dobra atmosfera. Cudowna obsługa- nic nie stanowiło dla nich problemu. Posiłki w porządku ale czasem brakowało jedzenia dla osób które przychodziły trochę później. Bardzo dobre zorganizowane wycieczki. Polecam serdecznie. W łazience biegały szczury ale to w takim miejscu jest normalne 😂

• Nora (10/5): Perfect! A really special experience. - It was amazing, everything was done so nicely. The rooms were great and the staff were lovely. It was a perfect location to explore the island. We saw reef sharks, turtles and lots of fish snorkeling from our room. Not suitable for a vegan diet but great for vegetarians (everything had eggs)
• Virinder Bablu (6/5): Flotte rammer, men misvisende koncept og alvorlige problemer med hygiejne og affald. Langt fra det paradis, Raja Ampat e - Smukke omgivelser og venligt personale. Stedet er visuelt flot og ligger i et område, der stadig har potentiale til at være helt unikt. Det er ikke et ægte homestay, men føles som et lukket resort uden kontakt til lokale – endda afskærmet med pigtråd. Der er tydelige problemer med rotter, som ikke håndteres. Derudover er havet ofte fyldt med affald, hvilket ødelægger oplevelsen markant.

• Pia (10/5): Ganz wunderbar!! - Dieses Homestay war auf unserer gesamten Reise in Raja das Beste. Die Overwaterbungalows waren sehr schön, geräumig und mit tollem Blick aufs Meer (andere Homestays haben einen seitlichen Ausblick, was wir im Vergleich nicht so schön fanden). Es wurde jeden Tag das Zimmer geputzt, inkl. Neuer Handtücher. Nachmittags wurde ein kleiner Snack aufs Zimmer gebracht, was wir als sehr liebevoll empfanden. Der Essbereich und die Anlage insgesamt wirkte sehr gepflegt und einladend. Ausflüge und Touren konnten einfach geplant werden. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und waren stets bemüht, alles möglich zu machen. Das Riff direkt um die Stege herum waren sehr schön und gut zu be-schnorcheln. An einem Abend gab es kein Wasser mehr zum Duschen - die anderen Abende hatten wir jedoch kein Problem. Das Wasser zum Duschen und aus den Waschbecken wirkte etwas salzig.

Das Essen war sehr gut - es gab sogar einen Nachmittags-Snack direkt in unsere Lodge gebracht. - alles in allem haben wir uns toll aufgehoben gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder :)

Очень вкусная еда, всегда свежая рыба, овощи, фрукты. Хозяин Марио любезнейший человек, организовывает любые поездки, любая ваша просьба будет удовлетворена. Потрясающие экскурсии, плавание с мантами, посещение близлежащих островов, невероятная красота. Очень дружелюбная атмосфера, чувствуешь себя как дома. Это место куда хочется возвращаться ❤️

• JM BONNAUD (9/5): Un séjour au paradis - Un séjour au paradis. Tous les déplacements se font en bateau. Les bungalows sont sur pilotis au dessus de l'eau. Pour aller nager et voir le tombant et sa faune , il suffit de descendre l'escalier. La décoration du lieu est soignée et originale. Le personnel est extrèmement serviable, la nourriture copieuse et de qualité et les lits confortables. Mario le propriétaire s'avère être un hôte attentif et de nombreuses activités vous serons proposées. Mais rêver sur sa terrasse devant la mer est un excellent passe temps aussi! l'électricité n'est disponible que de 18h à 6h et l'eau des douches un peu salée. Mais il faut savoir que l'on est sur une île plutôt isolée.

• OURANIA (10/5): - We had a wonderful stay in Terimakashi homestay. The bungalow was clean, comfortable, and very beautiful decorated and cleaned eveyday .The food was delicious, fresh, and always enough The owner, Mario, and the staff were all extremely kind and helpful, always ready to assist and make us feel at home. And snorkeling infront was excellent ! We highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Raja Ampat!

Csodás személyzettel minden pillanatban a vendégek igényeit figyelve. Külön ki kell emelnünk Melky manager aki kiváló érzékkel tapintatosan de mégís irányt adva igazgatja a vendégeket. Valamint Roy a Tour guide! Roy az akiben vakon is meg lehet bízni.. mindíg figyelmes és gondoskodó.. aki túrázni vagy snorkelezni akar menni annak csak is Roy ajánlom. Sajnos Terimakasih még korai foglalás esetén is majdnem mindíg foglalt. Akinek szerencséje van és van szabad szoba ,ne habozzon!Foglaljon! Sajnos nekünk is ezért lett rovidebb az ott tartózkodásunk

• Soraya (10/5): Wonderful stay and exceptional care - After three weeks of traveling, booking Terimakasih Homestay as a place to slow down was the best decision I could have made. Staying here for a full week felt like a true breath of fresh air. Every evening, the staff took the time to ask about my wishes for tours and activities, and the next morning everything was perfectly arranged — including a lovingly prepared lunchbox for the day. This level of care and attention made a huge difference. Mario and the entire team genuinely go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Nothing is too much to ask, and everything is done with kindness and a smile. Terima kasih banyak! The only small downside was that the fan was a bit too far away to really feel it - but honestly, that just meant waking up early and having a full day ahead to enjoy.
• Cinzia (10/5): Non vedo l’ora di tornare! - Immersa nella natura incontaminata. I bungalow sull’acqua sono essenziali ma estremamente accoglienti (e il letto ha un materasso comodissimo!). Si ha a disposizione una veranda a privata con accesso diretto a una delle barriere coralline più belle tra quelle che abbiamo visitato nella nostra permanenza a Raja Ampat. La posizione centrale nell’arcipelago permette di visitare numerosi punti di interesse. La pulizia delle stanze è quotidiana e gli spazi comuni, compresi i bagni, vengono puliti più volte al giorno.
• Patrick (10/5): Fantastique - Nous avons passé 7 jours de rêve à T h. Avant notre arrivée , nous avons déjà apprécié les échanges cordiaux via whattsapp avec le propriétaire toujours très réactif . Le récif , directement accessible depuis le ponton ou les terrasses est magnifique et préservé . Les maisons sur pilotis sont spacieuses , parfaitement entretenues avec terrasse privative, banc, table et hamac , et escalier donnant accès direct au récif. Étant 3 ( couple avec notre fille de 20 ans) , nous avons pu bénéficier d’une seule maison avec 1 grand lit et 1 matelas au sol tous 2 équipés de moustiquaires . Robinet d’eau douce sur le ponton très appréciable . Diana et les autres dames de ménages toujours très discrètes et sympathiques font la chambre quotidiennement la laissant dans une propreté impeccable . On se croirait à l’hôtel !!serviettes et draps changés au milieu de la semaine . Les 3 repas sont de qualité et servis en quantités suffisantes sous forme de buffet dans un espace commun qui nous a permis de faire de belles rencontres . Eldy , le cuisinier nous a régalé avec ses omelettes ou œufs brouillés du petit déjeuner , le thon grillé , les supions et sa fantastique sauce pimentée … avec toujours le sourire . Ce que nous garderons de plus marquant c’est la grande gentillesse de toute l’équipe : Melky ( qui parle bien mieux anglais que nous !!) nous a accueilli très chaleureusement , toujours aux petits soins pour nous satisfaire, , réactif et très professionnel. L’un d’entre nous s’est blessé et le propriétaire sur place a même organisé pour nous un transport en bateau vers le dispensaire du village voisin. Les sorties proposées sont variées et économiques car souvent partagées avec d’autres vacanciers . Nous avons participé à une activité de snorkeling de nuit, (en étant très bien encadrés), qui reste une expérience inoubliable avec l’observation des coraux fluorescents. L’espace douche et toilettes peuvent être largement améliorés au regard de nos standards
• Tobias (9/5): Behagelig plass å bo, med ekstremt behjelpelig personale - Personalet var det beste, de var ekstremt behjelpelige med alt vi behøvde, og lagde til og med te med ingefær når vi ble syke under oppholdet. Ellers er beliggenheten bra, og maten er god! Vi ble hentet 2 timer senere enn avtalt fra homestayet vi hadde før dette. Det er en cuscus som "bor" på homestayet som de mater, og lar gjestene mate. Dette er ikke bra!
• Nadja (8/5): Good and social stay - Very friendly staff, its possible every day to join organised trips, wifi, very organised team in general, nice chillout area which is good for socialising when travelling alone The bathrooms are disgusting and its only three toilets and showers for 25-30 people that stay there. Depending on what you want its quite busy since people arrive and leave every day.
• Axis (10/5): Rewarding travel experience! - This is a beautiful property on a house reef! The staff are amazing and at the moment we stayed there were 5 puppies which really enhanced our stay. Met a lot of great people here and loved snorkeling from the bungalows and the jetty! Food was also v good go chef Melky!! We loved everything!

• Simona (10/5): Tutto perfetto - Tutto meraviglioso. La location è stupenda con meravigliosa barriera corallina direttamente sotto propria camera. Si può passare benissimo giorni a fare snorkeling solamente nei pressi della homestay. Cibo molto buono e sempre abbondante e sufficiente per tutti gli ospiti. A colazione puoi chiedere facciano uova di ogni tipo da omelette o strapazzate, pancake , frutta ed anche noodles. Organizzano escursioni fatte davvero bene. Oltre tutto ciò il vero punto di forza è l'organizzazione ed il loro staff. Ho avuto varie problematiche e prima Mario mi ha comprato dei medicinali a Sorong e portati subito e poi avevamo fatto check out ma avuto problemi con la nuova homestay e il loro staff ci è venuto a prendere e abbiamo fatto altre due notti qui. Avevamo purtroppo già prenotato altre sistemazioni ma saremmo rimasti tutto il nostro soggiorno in questa Homestay e da lì fatto tutte le varie escursioni anche per le altre isole perché davvero l'organizzazione è la migliore di tutta l'isola. Per me molto freddolosa se ci fosse stata anche l'acqua calda nella doccia sarebbe stato perfetto.

Uz od prichodu sme boli ocareni miestom a chatkami, ktore su priamo na koralovom utese. Koralovy utes je tam nadherny, presnorchlovali sme najviac ako sa dalo. Ubytovanie poskytuje aj super vylety, my sme boli 2x na Cape Kri, Jen Buba Jetty, Kabui bai, Friwenn wall atd. a bolo to super. Isli sme taktiez peso z ubytovania do dediny, bol to krasny zazitok a maju tam velmi pekny koralovy utes s mnozstvom ryb. Jedlo v tomto ubytovani bolo servirovane na krasnej terase a bolo velmi chutne. Ludia su tu velmi priatelski a ochotni. Ubytovanie bolo velmi ciste. Lokalna pani sa tu o ubytovanie starala, kazdy den ho upratovala. Mozem toto ubytovanie len odporucit.

• Mandias (10/5): Absolutely incredible and unforgettable. Heaven on earth. - The bungalows are well-made and the house reef is absolutely stunning. I saw turtles while snorkeling there in addition to all the beautiful coral and fish. Other people had seen sharks and a couple of dugongs while snorkeling, and you can even see fish, eels, and smaller sharks from the front of your bungalow! There were quite a few people there who had been going around to different Homestays and agreed that Terimakasih was the best quality in terms of house reef, food, and service. Most people tried to extend their stay because they didn’t want to leave to another place. There is a family of dogs on the property that are sooooo cute, and a couple of cuscus that you can see late at night or early morning if you’re luck enough. And the staff are so kind and excellent! Our beds were made everyday, they offer laundry service, shared transportation, and even serve fried bananas at 5pm everyday. There is electricity, running tap water, drinking water, and even toilets. Honestly everything was wonderful. Maybe having sambal and kecap manis accessible during every meal, and better fitting snorkel masks as the one I rented from them were leaky most of the time.

• Alexander (4/5): Beware - chronic overbooking - As others have said, the rooms, facilities, food, and location are very good. This homestay has a problem with overbooking. They will sell more rooms than they have, then put extra people into other home stays in the area for some or all nights of their stay. We spoke to 4 other people who this had happened to during the course of our brief stay. Although we messaged to confirm we were on our way, when we arrived the staff acted like they had no idea we were coming. After a bit of waiting they told us we needed to spend our first night at another home stay. This other homestay was okay, but not the same quality as Terimakasih. It was inconvenient, prevented us from settling in, and we got not compensation. When we arrived back at Terimakasih the next day, these same staff had forgotten who we were and it took a bit of back and forth before they realised that they had a room for us. I appreciate that you should expect a different level of service in Raja Ampat compared to more established tourist areas, but Terimakasih is a supposedly professional, well-regarded homestay so overall our experience was very disappointing.

Bungalowen var rummelig og godt indrettet med stor behagelig dobbeltseng og en skøn terrasse med trappe direkte til et flot rev med masse fisk og koraller. Maden som blev serveret 3 gange dagligt var nok det bedste vi fik de 4 steder vi boede på Raja Ampat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The owner was very friendly and responsive even by whatsapp messages. Easy day trips and hotel transfers. They were very flexible and we really appreciated that. Shared toilets far from the rooms.

• Julie (8/5): Comfortable, clean, friendly place to stay. - Terimakasih Homestay was very comfortable; you could slip into the water off your balcony. The house reef was awesome and not too far to swim to the drop off. The room had a resort like feel and was spacious with a comfortable bed. The electricity was off at midnight but there was a nice sea breeze. The bathrooms are shared and cleaned regularly; cold water as is the norm. We ate every meal in the dining room, the three meals a day were filling and tasty, cold Bintang is available. We did an afternoon snorkeling trip with Sed to Sauwandarek and Yenbuba jetties. We had the best time! We would stay again. Occasionally more attention to deal was required by staff in the dining room.
• Renita (10/5): Will 100% be back and staying here for longer. - This was by far my favourite place I stayed whilst visiting Raja. For a solo traveller it’s got a great atmosphere for meeting other people in the shared areas where you have dinner. The location is great right next to a dive shop and walking distance to some of the best snorkelling I saw in Raja just on the other side of the island and the staff are so lovely!

Boat to aborek+manta point for half day costs IDR 700k.per boat Food is not enough for all guests. WIFi is available only 5 metres around router and staff take it away from dining room to their desk. Moreover, we got wifi signal only 1 day from 3 days staying here Air-con is dirty and not in good condition but ok and bathroom door can't be closed from outside.
• Magdalena (10/5): Piękne miejsce na Raja Ampat z cudownymi zachodami słońca - Cudowne miejsce, domki położone na wodzie z pięknym widokiem na morze. Pokoje nieduże ale klimatyczne i czyste. Każdy domek z małym tarasem na którym są krzesełka i stolik. Przy domkach długi pomost z leżakami i ławkami. Cudowne zachody słońca z pomostu. Na około domków piękna dżungla z palmami, niesamowite odgłosy przyrody nocą. W obiekcie restauracja gdzie serwowane są posiłki na świeżym powietrzu. Jedzenie smaczne i różnorodne. W obiekcie można zakupić zimne piwo co po całym dniu na wycieczkach w słońcu jest super. My mieliśmy domek z prywatną łazienką, a na dachu domku był duży taras skąd były cudowne widoki. Obsługa bardzo uczynna, pomocna, zawsze uśmiechnięta . W obiekcie można wykupić wycieczki na snoorkowanie, punktu widokowe i na plażowanie. Polecamy bardzo.

• Andre (10/5): Perfekter Ort zum Entspannen im Paradies - Das Terimakasih Homestay ist ein echtes Paradies in Raja Ampat! Ich habe 2,5 Wochen dort verbracht und kann es zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Die top gepflegten Bungalows befinden sich direkt über dem kristallklaren Meer, das Hausriff ist wunderschön zum Schnorcheln und der Sonnenuntergang ist atemberaubend. Es ist der perfekte Ort zum Entspannen; man hört nur die Wellen und die Geräusche der Natur. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und herzlich (z.B. wurde mehrfach auch nach den offiziellen Zeiten Essen zubereitet, wenn der Dive trip länger ging; es gibt regelmäßig Fried Banana als Snack am Nachmittag). Das Essen ist sehr lecker und abwechslungsreich, außerdem ist immer genug für alle Gäste. Direkt nebenan befindet sich zudem das Mantastic Dive Center. Ich habe mich dort sehr wohl gefühlt und würde sofort wiederkommen. Danke an das gesamte Team!
• Katharina (8/5): Unser schönstes Homestay auf Raja Ampat - Die Bungalows sind wunderschön und relativ groß, direkt am Wasser gelegen mit einer Hängematte. Es ist sauber und das Zimmer wird jeden Tag gereinigt. Die ganze Anlage ist ebenfalls sehr schön und nett dekoriert. Auch das Hausriff hat einiges zu bieten - wir haben viele Schildkröten gesehen und auch einen Hai. Es hat insgesamt eher einen Hotelcharakter und das wird sich auch in Zukunft noch mehr verdeutlichen da sie noch mehr Bungalows bauen. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Verschiedene Ausflüge werden angeboten. Es gab zuckersüße Welpen🥰 Das Essen hätte abwechslungsreicher sein können, vor allem für Vegetarier. Zum Frühstück wäre mehr Obst gut und generell gesündere Optionen.

• Kenji (9/5): Fantastic - This was my first time staying at an over-the-water lodge, and I really enjoyed the experience. The lodge itself was very minimal, but it was perfect for resting and sleeping, especially with the sound of the waves at night. Everything was very well organized, and it was easy to book trips to different spots directly through the accommodation. The staff were extremely kind, attentive, and always willing to help throughout my stay. The food was also much better than I expected. I initially thought the options might be limited, but every breakfast, lunch, and dinner was satisfying, both in quality and portion size. Overall, I felt very comfortable and well taken care of during my time there. Honestly, I didn’t have any major complaints during my stay. If there’s one area that could be improved, it would be making their environmental conservation and sustainability efforts more visible to guests. I’m not saying that these initiatives don’t exist — they very well might — but I didn’t hear much about them during my stay. Given how remote and pristine this location is, it would be great to highlight any conservation efforts more clearly and to raise awareness among guests. This could include small things like pointing out the use of eco-friendly products (for example, biodegradable soaps) or sharing simple information on how guests can help protect the surrounding environment. Places like this are becoming increasingly rare, and making these efforts more visible would make the experience even more meaningful.

Бунгало все на воде, комнаты милые, уютные, кровати удобные, нам настолько понравилось всё (а нам уже было к этому моменту с чем сравнить), что мы отменили наши другие перемещения и решили остаться здесь ещё на 3 ночи. Расположение очень удачное, если вы собираетесь дайвить на спотах в близи Кри, Мансуара, Гама и Арборека, то нет смысла жить на всех этих островах. Можно смело на весь срок остановиться в Теримакасих. Добираться до дайв спотов быстро и легко, рядом есть дайв центр. Персонал приготовил по нашей просьбе торг в честь дня рождения, очень вкусный! Туалеты и душевые общие, но очень чистые, чище, чем у нас были в другом homestay свои. Можно было бы улучшить. В целом мне всё понравилось. Но хорошо было бы чуть больше овощей и фруктов, а так готовят вкусно!
• Guest (7/5): - Super spacious room, nice food. Nice views. The puppies were so cute I really cannot understand why they would not put a door on the side of the house towards the sea. Maybe it looks better with a curtain when it’s sunny outside, but when it’s the middle of the night and you’re in a crazy storm, it’s not fun at all. I must mention that in Raja Ampat we had storms in most nights, and we are really happy that we stayed here only 2 nights cuz we were zombies during the day. It was impossible to sleep with all the wind coming to your face from the “door”, the rain, and the curtain going crazy and flying in all directions. Oh and in the second night, the roof opened a little bit and it rained like crazy on me in the bed. The mattress was soaked and part of the blanket as well. And it was windy as well and cold. Was honestly traumatising. I know it’s Raja Ampat and you shouldn’t have too high expectations, but before this accommodation we stayed in 4 other home stays in raja ampat and didn’t have any issues. It certainly didn’t rain on me and I didn’t wake up from crazy wind and rain going in my face because of lack of door….. we also really didn’t like that we had to walk so long to get to the toilet. We were almost the farthest house and had to walk a few minutes to get to the toilet.
• Nicholas (10/5): Terimakasiah Homestay is THE place to stay on Mansuar Island - Here is another 5 star review about Terimakasiah Homestay on Mansuar Island. This place is an absolute gem. If you are planning some quality time in the Kri / Mansuar area and want an extraordinary experience then simply book this place and book as many nights as you can. You will not regret your decision. I have stayed in quite a few local homestays and this one is totally unique, head and shoulders above the rest. Terimakasiah Homestay consists of 12 over water bungalows that are super spacious and well appointed with private outdoor chill out veranda with hammock and seating with steps down to the water. There are a few larger cabins with roof top decks. Power is on all night. The wifi in the restaurant area works well, the local Telkomsel 4G signal is patchy at best. The staff all speak English and were cheerful and helpful. The owner Mario is always available to attend to any specific request you may have and can arrange some exciting day trips and tours at really affordable prices. All the meals were seriously good. Cold beers and soft drinks for purchase. Snorkelling around the jetty and in front of the restaurant area was nice. Be aware bc the current can be very strong in this stretch of open ocean, so work out the current direction, go for a walk and just drift back to your cabin. Remember to head out to the end of the jetty in the later afternoon to catch the sunset, here they have deck chairs and lounges. There is a relatively easy 45min walk from the homestay through the jungle, past the lagoon, over to Sauwanderek Village. Good snorkelling at the jetty there. I saw massive leatherback turtles in this bay. One night a Cuscus came to visit and hung off the restaurant roof truss being fed bananas by the guests. Totally awesome creatures. I highly recommend Terimakasiah Homestay. This place is amazing
• Douwe (9/5): - Gezellige en relaxte sfeer. Mooie ruime bungalows met een goed matras en een ventilator! Erg lekker eten en de mogelijkheid om koude biertjes en cola te kopen. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en lijken het goed naar hun zin te hebben. Huisjes worden elke dag schoongemaakt. Tours zijn leuk, vraag naar Set/Seth; hij is de vriendelijkste en meest attente kapitein! Er zijn puppies…….. en een kouskous! Dat maakt het paradijs compleet! House reef is heel mooi en goed intact. Schildpadden, haaien en een lion fish/koraalduivel gezien! De eigenaar gaf aan tips van gasten op te volgen om zo steeds te verbeteren. Dus een paar kleine tips: fijn als er white koffie/cafe latte aanwezig is. Snack time is vrij laat (17:00).
