• Jan (6/5): We love Bari , it was our 2 nd visit, but frustrated with leaking shower and lack of generosity with issuing coffee pods - The location was fabulous in the old town, close to the harbour and great for walking the alleys The shower leaked making a puddle around the toilet. The 60x60 cm shower was so small you bumped your elbows . The bathroom window when opened looked at the harbour ( lovely) but also the a large terrace 10 metres away where 3 people sat every morning. . They looked directly at you when sitting on the toilet , so we had to close the timber window doors each time we went. We stayed 2 nights. When I asked for 2 more coffee pods for the espresso machine, I was refused.
• barbara (7/5): The property is in a good location but was expensive and doesn't offer breakfast. - The location was great with a number of bars and restaurants just outside the door. It was a very short walk to the sea front and had a small balcony with a table and chairs that you would normally have a sea view from and would be a nice spot to have a glass of wine in the evening on. The property was spotlessly clean and we were able to leave our bags there before we officially checked in which I was very grateful for as we had arrived earlier than we had expected to. We arrived on the last day of the Festival of St Nicholas, which we weren't aware of so the normal sea view that we would have had was replaced by the lighted "cathedral" that was put up for that, but we were able to hear the choral music and brass band playing and enjoy the lights. I struggled with the stairs to this property it was up 2 steep flights so for others with knee problems this property may not suit you. The room was compact with a low ceiling which felt a little claustrophobic and the shower cubicle was very small which meant that some water escaped onto the floor but this was dried by my used towel after the shower. I really don't like the impersonal way of collecting keys and being given the collection information over the phone as this led to confusion about when we could collect them. Also the couple that were there before us checked out after 3 pm yet we were sent a text later that evening that our check out time was 10 am despite an earlier text saying check out would be 3 pm so I'm not sure if that was meant to read check IN or out at 3pm. I don't think it was worth the price we paid but that price may have been affected by the Festival of St Nicholas. We stayed in cheaper accommodation elsewhere that was in just as good a location, was larger and offered breakfast.

• Jarmila (10/5): Pokud se někdy vrátím do Bari, chci bydlet v tomto ubytování. - Krásné a čisté ubytování s malou terasou a výhledem na moře. Perfektní poloha v srdci historické části. Blízkost moře, památek i restaurací a obchodů.

• dajana (10/5): Bari apartma - Piazza Mercantile - Apartma je bil zelo čist in na najboljši lokaciji v starem mestnem jedru na trgu Mercantile. Gospa Francesca je izredno proaktivna in prijazna ter poskrbi, da se vsak gost počuti dobrodošel v Bariju. Zelo nizek strop v apartmaju.
• Denisa (10/5): - Locația este excelenta, baruri si cafenele la parter, chiar lângă ușă. Totul este la mai puțin de 5 minute de mers pe jos. Apartamentul curat, zona liniștită. Apartamentul este prea înghesuit, cel puțin pentru persoane înalte. Daca ai pana in 1,70 cm înălțime e cat de cat ok, altfel e dificil sa te descurci. Tavanul e prea jos, cabina de dus foarte mica si înghesuita. Baia in general este mica si înghesuita, mereu trebuie sa fii atent sa nu te lovești la cap.

• Filipe (7/5): Excelente localização mas casa de banho muito baixa - Localização, vista, limpeza, café a disposição e água com biscoitos entre outras. Definitivamente a casa de banho é muito baixa para quem tenha 1,70 ou mais, além do teto baixo a base de duche deixava passar água para o chão.

• Jose Atilio (7/5): - La ubicacion es excelente, junto a una plaza muy animada y con muchos lugares para comer o tomar un trago El baño era realmente pequeño, yo soy alto y tuve dificultades para utilizarlo. No contaba con caja de Seguridad. Fueron tres pisos por escalera, con escalones bastante altos fue dificultoso acarrear las maletas.

• Mayella (9/5): Feiner Aufenthalt in einer Stadt mit Charme. - Sehr gute und zentrale Lage, deswegen etwas lauter, aber das weiß man im Vorfeld. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, die auch bei Problemen hilft und gute Tipps gibt. Alles schnell erreichbar, Frühstückbars, Restaurants, Busse, Altstadt,... Irreführend kann die Information "Privatstrand" sein. Die Unterkunft liegt in Hafennähe bzw. Blick zum Hafen. Zum Badestrand sind es (je nach Strand) mit dem Bus um die 15-20 Minuten. Es gibt aber sehr schöne Strände, wie z.B. San Francesco (mit Eintritt und Sonnenliegen/-schirmen) oder auch öffentliche, die gut erreichbar sind.

• Roelie (8/5): Prima! - Een klein appartement midden in het centrum met alles wat je nodig hebt. Voor lange mensen zijn de ruimtes erg laag.
• Nini (7/5): Süsses Zimmer für 2-3 Nächte - Super zentral gelegen. Das Zimmer ist klein aber sehr sauber und hat viel Charme. Das Bett ist bequem und es gibt eine Klimaanlage. Der kleine Balkon bietet einen tollen Ausblick auf den Hafen. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. Die Toilettenspülung liess sich nicht wirklich stoppen und es gab regelmässig eine grosse Wasseransammlung um die Toilette. Die Dusche ist extrem eng, man kann sich kaum bewegen. Nachts kann es sehr laut werden, da das air bnb von öffentlichen, belebten Plätzen umgeben ist. Der Preis von ca.100.- pro Nacht ist deutlich zu hoch.

• Daniela (10/5): Superb! - Apartament micuț și cochet, aranjat cu mult bun gust, foarte curat și utilat cu tot ce ai avut nevoie, aer condiționat care a fost de mare ajutor, uscător de păr, săpun lichid, prosoape curate, aparat de cafea, frigider, Wi-Fi, dulap cu umerașe, pat foarte confortabil, terasă cu masă și scaune, cu priveliște superbă către portul din Bari, unde dimineața te puteai bucura de răsăritul de soare, locație excelentă, chiar în Piazza Mercantile, numeroase terase în jur, aproape de orice obiectiv turistic, 30 de minute de plimbare pe faleza Lungomare până la plaja Pane e Pomodoro, 15 minute de mers pe jos până la Gară, comunicare excelentă cu gazda, instrucțiuni clare de check-in și check-out. Bonus, la sosire, am găsit pregătite pentru noi 2 punguțe de covrigei și 2 sticle de apă plată de 0.5l care au prins tare bine la ora 2 noaptea când am ajuns, din cauza zborului întârziat... Așa zisele "minusuri" au fost nesemnificative pentru noi, comparativ cu toate plusurile pe care acest apartament le are! De menționat, pentru cei care sunt mai pretențioși, baia este mai micuță și strâmtă în special la cabina de duș, dar noi știam despre acest detaliu dinainte de a rezerva și nu ne-a deranjat acest aspect. De asemenea, dacă cineva merge mai multe zile cu intenția de a găti, apartamentul nu este prevăzut cu bucătărie, dar are aparat de cafea, microvelă, frigider, căni, tacâmuri, farfurii, ceea ce pentru noi a fost mai mult decât suficient. Ca și concluzie, noi am petrecut 3 zile superbe, iar dacă vreodată am mai ajunge în Bari, am rezerva aceeași cazare! Mulțumim HomeClass Mercantile pentru experiența frumoasă!

• Keira (9/5): 3 Day Vacation - This was a lovely place for us to stay, very comfy and cozy place with a beautiful view of the small port. The location was absolutely superb. The hosts were really nice and guided us very well on check in and other stuff. The AC was also very good, and the room was very cool. We also had a TV with both Netflix and YouTube. Highly recommend this place it was honestly perfect. We really have nothing to complain on truly. Maybe some recommendations is to include glassware such as non disposable cups for drinks. Otherwise there's nothing to add

The balcony/sitting area had a lovely view of the port & convenient to everything. The excellent deli/cafe just outside the front door was perfect for breakfast or any time of the day. The apartment was clean & very comfortable & in a great location.. but remember to duck your head when going into the bathroom!

In the middle of the historical center, is pretty nice to be sourrunded by the shops, restaurant and co. The ceiling is a little bit low, Once I hit my head a bit :). For tall people above 1.85m / 6 feet good to know ;).

Bed very comfy, good hairdryer and always warm water when showering. Balcony space lovely with view of the sea. For a solo traveller it is very safe to stay here (keypad entry to main front door) and own room door has a lock from the inside. I’d highly recommend to anyone to stay here in Bari.

• Vikki (10/5): Thank you for the fabulous stay, your place was perfect for us to celebrate our anniversary ❤️ - This place is an amazing little gem. The location is perfect! At the front door, you have a whole host of restaurants and bars, but you can't hear anything in the room. And then you have the wonderful view from the balcony. The bed was comfy, and the host was great at communicating. No real complaints. You can't complain about the bathroom when it clearly states the height size in the description. It was fine, does what you need it to do, and made us laugh in the shower. We did struggle with random crockery (1 mug, 1 bowl, 2 cups, 1 plate) but still wouldn't complain. You have a fridge, microwave and kettle to use.

Right in the old district and only a few streets from the downtown area. Restaurants right outside the door.. and easy to access with self check in.. walkable and felt safe as a solo woman traveler. Door to balcony reminded me of a hobbit door.. #fave Only note Be mindful the bathroom height is 5'5-5'7 I'm 5'4 and my head touched the ceiling in the shower.

• Ganea (9/5): Very nice - Location exactly in the old center of the city. Very nice and even it is in the center, it is very quiet inside. The host responded to all the questions. The bathrroom is too small. For me was not a problem (1.72 m tall), but for sure for a taller person this could be a problem.
• Kayahab (7/5): Good - Absolutely perfect location, good communication, comfortable bed, clean. AC was old and noisy, with heat pump on balcony which made it uncomfortably hot out there. Bathroom was tiny, not for anyone tall or wide.
• Anna (7/5): Prime location, good accomodation!! - The location is supreme, you literally are in the center as soon as you walk out of the door! Excellent place as a base for your stay in Bari. Carefull: it is an excellent room at an excellent location, airco was perfect during heatwave, however, the ceiling is pretty low, for me absolutely not a problem, but my partner is 1.96m and he could not stand up straight in the room and shower. But even so, he still liked the accomodation and we spent 2 nights there and enjoyed it!

Check in and check out easy with good communication. Sea view is top in the small terrace. Bike rental behind. If you are a really tall person probably this is not your place: the bathroom has a top really low. The bathroom is really small but for few days stay it s good.
