• Nathanial (1/5): We were really disappointed and livered not only that this happened but how the owner handled it. He since has not been - The property has a fantastic view of Cefalu My group of four had 2 nights and 1 full day to enjoy Cefalu. In the morning on our only full day here my friend and I went to the beach early. One of the girls still in the apartment called me and informed that there were 6 police in uniform demanding to come in, they wanted the details of the owner and the I.D of everyone staying here, as well as all correspondence with him. She asked us to come back as they were terrified obviously. We came back quickly and when we got back they took our I.D had us sit in the lounge room and wait for the owner to arrive. It was maybe an hour and a half we waited for the owner, when he arrived he went straight into the kitchen with the police and avoided eye contact. We had no idea what was going on, the police spoke very little to no English and didn’t inform us of anything other then they needed to deal with the owner. Perhaps another hour passed and it was now mid afternoon. When they were finished the only officer who spoke a little English said they were finished and they all left with the owner who didn’t inform us of what was going on, but said we could still stay here though. A little clueless and rattled, we heard nothing from the owner until later that night he messaged asking for our passports. I refused given all that had happened and so he called me and gave me a story of “regular checkups” which sounded like a load of BS. It was our only full day here and we had to spend the better part of the afternoon sitting in the apartment waiting for the owner to deal with his issues with the police. We did not get to enjoy our stay.
• Don (5/5): This is really not suitable for 2 adult couples and should not be advertised as 3 bedroom apartment. I suppose you pay f - The location and view from the balcony were the best feature. The photos on Booking.com must have been taken several years ago. Outdoor furniture was very dated and worn out. Kitchen benchtops were sticky, there were way too many kitchen utensils than were necessary for short stay. No decent coffee cups, no wine glasses, no clean tea towels. This property should not be advertised as a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom apartment, this is misrepresentation. The upstairs is totally inadequate as there is no headroom. Our friends who stayed with us kept knocking their heads on the ceiling. At best you would call upstairs a loft suitable for small children. Some of the power points require attention and the power would trip when more than 2 appliances were turned on at the same time.

• Anna (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location - the views from the balcony were the best part. Good parking and the host was very accomodating when our travel plans changed due to flight delays. Would book this again if I am back in Cefalu - I wish I could stay longer!
• Clandles (8/5): Excellent stay at the Moderno Appartamento. - The "Moderno apartament" in Cefalu is nicely located just out of Cefalu which was great as we had a hire car for on street parking. The apartment has a great balcony and view overlooking Cefalu which was nice. The bathrooms were both clean and tidy, and the air conditioning worked all well. The kitchen faculties were very good for some basic cooking. Minor issues: The apartment is a little tricky to locate as the car and phone satnav struggled to get us up the correct road to the property, and parking was then a little tricky down such a narrow road, but I would not let this put you off staying here. The ceiling heights on the upper floor can be a little low for anyone particularly tall. The local supermarket is quite some way away, and so would plan getting whatever you need before your arrival. The neighbours below complained that we were noisy, but we were all asleep in bed by 11.30 pm, and we did not play any music or have the TV on at all, which was rather strange.
• Giorgiana (5/5): There’s no assigned parking space, you might or mig not find parking next to the building and there’s a only 4 parking s - the view parking situation and not enough towels
• Mohamed (10/5): Exceptional - The flat is just amazing. Big , clean, and the view from there is just awesome. On the balcony you feel you want to stay there the whole day just watching the whole city and the lively city with people going everywhere. The staff was so helpful and friendly.
