• Uroš (9/5): Energija otoka je tako prijetna, da se z malenkostmi ne ukvarjaš. Če pa se, je nekaj narobe s tabo.. - Odlična lokacija, blizina mesta in mestne plaže ter dobrih 20 minut do plaže Kedros. Pohištvo v najinem apartmaju potrebuje osvežite oziroma zamenjavo s kakšnim lepšim kosom.

• MARK (8/5): Good choice for stay on Donoussa if you can get the right room. - The property is a collection of rooms/apartments next to each other around a sort of garden area.Lovely location with seaviews and looking across bay to the small town of Stavros.Room had kitchenette and outside terrace area.Attached Restaurant was very popular and food very good.Owner very friendly and helpful and provided pickup from ferry and drop off when leaving. My room was last available and a triple so expensive! No windows as such so room quite dark.Not much privacy as rooms and sitting areas very close together.

• jan (9/5): Super séjour - Emplacement retiré au calme mais proche du village. Personnel sympathique et très bons équipements. Transferts depuis le port. Le lit grinçait beaucoup.

Very different to when we stayed 2 yea - The view Dirty floor, very small, no facilities on the side where we were staying. Bed uncomfortable, when I asked for 2 more pillows - we only got one. The adjacent Taverna was closed. We were not shown our room, the owner just pointed in the direction of the stairs and said 27 nothing else.

They have a restaurant next door which was also great! They also offer pickup from the port. The wifi kept disconnecting but apart from that, everything was great.

Not a problem for us in June since we only were inside the apartment to sleep, but maybe it could be worth mentioning.

• Stephen (9/5): Beginning of our Greek holiday in the Cyclades.. - Well we have stayed here several times over the past few years and have always enjoyed the experience. Our room was spacious and cleaned daily. The walk to the room uphill.The balcony gave us a view of the port. We were able to self-cater which was a bonus.All in all a comfortable experience. As always and transport provided to, and from the apartment. Recommended Nothing really. Donoussa is a very uphill experience so take your walking boots with you.
• Linda (10/5): Fabulous - Traditional, well equipped studio with great views across the port and to Naxos. We found it comfortable and in a good location. Mr Cristos collected us from the port and gave general information about the island. We used their restaurant and found it good value for money. My partner caught a barracuda and the chef cooked it for us, it was amazing, so kind of them to cook it for us. We will definitely return to the studios in the future. Nothing, all good.
• William (10/5): Great accommodation on Donousa - Lovely traditional Greek accommodation with a great restaurant attached. Mattress was a bit firm on the bed, had to stack both pillows to avoid sore shoulders the next morning but easily done and only a minor criticism of otherwise great lodgings.

The rooms are spacious and clean with kitchen and bathroom facilities. The town is a 5 minute walk along the beach - beautiful.

Christos our host was great friendly,Mary looked after our room will be a big part of our memories such a lovely lady. Not something that would change my mind about theplace but one restaurant staff member was a bit surly didn't look like she wanted to be there, to her defense they all worked hard every night very busy
• Wilma (9/5): Nice but not what we booked - Good location , walk over the beach from the port. Took the option of lift to the accommodation but on return just walked over the ‘town’ beach. I’m not sure we stayed in what we booked as we got an ‘upgrade’ to an apt from a studio and we had great WiFi which wasn’t expected - however it was under the name of Anemomylos - and the lady next to us told me that her brother owned the apt. The view, not what we had booked and the reason we had booked. Nice if you stood up but there was also a flat roof in front of us and a building to the left
• Joanne (9/5): Superb - My daughter and I were met from the ferry and driven to our location. The apartment was large, with good kitchen faciities such as toaster, cooker and fridge; we did eat out so didnt need to use them during our stay. It was cleaned on a daily basis with fresh towels and fresh bedding. We found the air conditioning usefu at night. We had a great view of the bay and would sit out at our table and chairs admiring the beach and bay....we were very happy to stay. We did have a meal at the on site restaurant and it was very good and popular as a great place to see the sunset. We will return. Thank you for your kind hospitality.

• Chris (9/5): Stayed here three times when on Donousa! why go anywhere else. - We were met off the ferry at 7.50am, a room was available to check in to early - very excellent after a night of travel. 3rd visit. The restaurant at Iliovasilema is one of the best on Donousa and Christos Sigalas is very helpful! Great views of sunset over Naxos. Like walking across the beach along the waters edge to get to the other bars, bakery etc. I prefer a softer mattress. Had we booked earlier we might have got a studio with a better seaview (all the rooms were busy during our stay)

It is close to everything and just 10’ from Kedros by foot. There was a small problem with the shower and the bathroom seemed to flood a bit every time we had shower.

Wonderful sandy beach - Owner collected us from port and transferred us to the apartment and dropped us off at port on departure. 5 minute walk to lovely sandy beach. Good value restaurant with sea view on site No footpath to supermarket so needed to carry shopping a few hundred metres across the sandy beach. Quite a uphill walk to our accommodation. Our sea-view wasn't quite as expected/shown in the photographs - looked on to rooftop and water-tanks

• Boat (10/5): Exceptional - The location the free transfer the people the restaurant. They now also offer scooter hire as well as ferry ticket sales. The fittings are showing their age, but I guess the price would go up if modernised.

Location, quaintness of room, friendliness of owner and all staff made it the perfect first visit to Donoussa. The most tranquil island, with perfect sandy beaches and clearest sea for swimming in. it has stolen the hearts of my friend and I. No complaints, because everything and everyone was perfect

• Stephen (10/5): Good accomodation after leaving Amorgos.. - We booked for 3 nights and stayed in room 22, accommodation for 4 people.We had a nice enough room with cooking facilities and views from the balcony of the port, and surrounding area.Mr Christos took us there, and back in his van and we we would recommend these rooms which we have stayed in before, but a different location about the beach area.. And the room was very large for the two of us 😄 Nothing really.There is a restaurant nearby, which opens each evening only, which we didn't use because we were able to self cater in the room.

• Ian (8/5): Very good value for money. - I visited Iliovasilema for 4 nights in mid-September and stayed in one of the standard rooms. I had a lovely view of the sea from my terrace, and it was an easy walk down to the town beach. The restaurant run by the owner, Christos, was very good and, although close by, it wasn't too noisy. Christos was very friendly and helpful, and collected me at the port on my arrival and dropped me off on the day I left. Overall, I thought the room was very good value for money. The cleaning could have been better and towels changed more often. You can hear sounds from adjacent rooms and terraces quite clearly, though when I was there this wasn't too much of a problem.
