• Doris (7/5): - Comfortable, clean - well equipped including smart TV and laundry No outdoor space with chairs. No smoking not only inside (which is totally understandable) but nowhere on the property. Every other place over our four week travels provided an outdoor space with chairs and a pail for butts. Were told to go to a nearby park which we had to drive to due to steep streets and distance. We appreciate a lot of people don’t smoke but a small outdoor space to sit would be nice for all guests.

Les petites lumières en place, quoique très jolies, étaient nettement insuffisantes ou alors nous n'avons pas saisi leur mode de fonctionnement.
• Susanna (10/5): - Tastefully decorated, beautiful new apartment. The drain in the bathroom sink was very slow due to a faulty plug.

• Arnab (7/5): A hidden gem with great potential - We stayed in the upper level apartment, which was a little different from the rooms depicted here, but was very clean, spacious and airy, with plenty of natural light and a large open terrace/patio attached. It is dog friendly, which is a huge bonus. The laundry machines are excellent and work perfectly. The hosts’ attention to recycling and waste management is commendable. The neighbourhood is beautiful. The hosts are obviously new at this, but they are helpful and responsive. The decor is largely modern and IKEA-esque, including artificial flowers and plants everywhere — not my preferred aesthetic, but it gets the job done. The basic amenities need a bit of attention: 1. Please add a bath towel and a face towel per individual occupant to your linen closet. We were short, but my wife and I were okay to share. 2. The kitchen could be better equipped with things like a toaster—an air fryer isn’t a universal solution. The coffee maker is too small for groups of two or more, and an offset spatula to cook eggs would be helpful for early risers/breakfast people. 3. The plumbing needs more regular care, and please leave some caustic soda/drainex and a plunger handy under the sink in order to ensure that guests can help take better care of the things. I understand that these are small, teething issues but being more attentive to them can make a significant difference to the quality of a guest’s experience. The above being said, this place is a good find for anyone visiting St John.
