• Anne (10/5): Une hôte exceptionnelle ! - L'hospitalité de Claire, sa disponibilité et ses conseils sur les visites, les restaurants, ont fait que notre séjour fut une vraie réussite. Claire nous a beaucoup aidés sur un problème médical. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Bons petits déjeuners en libre service (merci pour les croissants).Les serviettes de bain tous les 2 jours. La salle d'eau de la chambre 1 est trés petite.

We feel that she went out of her way for us, made us feel special, but I'm sure everyone that stays there feels that way too. She gave us great traveling tips and spectacular itineraries. Our time there was nothing short of wonderful. Everything you'll need is there. A home away from home. We didn't like that we had to leave so soon.

Location is great for visiting Galway and Connemara national park and even the town Oughterard has some nice pubs and areas for walks. The room was nice and it had everything we needed. The host was really nice and friendly. She explained everything about Galway, Connemara and even other places in Ireland. She gave us recommendations about what to visit and what to avoid, where to eat and drink and which roads to take. She even lent us a freezing bag to keep our sandwiches cold when we went hiking.

Hat uns jede Menge Tipps zu unseren Tagesausflügen gegeben bzw ganze Touren zusammengestellt, mit tollen Stellen,die nur wenige Touristen kennen 👍🏻😃 . Die Unterkunft war sauber, ruhig gelegen, jeden Morgen ein gutes Frühstück, was will man mehr. Wir verbrachten 4 Nächte dort und danken nochmals für die liebevolle Betreuung durch Claire 🥰 Einziger Kritikpunkt war das sehr kleine Bad, wobei die bei allen B&B so war, die wir auf unserer Rundreise bisher hatten.

She served a generous breakfast in her own dining room, taking wonderful care of us. She also helped us with our further travel planning, providing maps, invaluable insider tips, and humorous anecdotes. We felt very welcome! Claire ist eine Gastgeberin mit einer Herzlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft, wie man sie selten findet. Das Haus und die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und ordentlich. Das reichhaltige Frühstück servierte sie in ihrem eigenen Esszimmer, wobei sie sich rührend um uns kümmerte. Auch bei unserer weiteren Reiseplanung stand sie uns mit Karten, sehr wertvollen Insider-Tipps und humorigen Geschichten zur Seite. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt!

Claire is the most fantastic host, and really couldn't do enough for you. The property is lovely, the room was very comfortable with a fantastic shower and the robes were a nice touch. The options for breakfast were very good and the property is well located being only 30 minutes from Galway and just outside the town of Oughterard. We really, really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again sometime in the future. Nothing

She welcomed us, showed where everything was and gave info and directions for further locations we were planning on visiting. The room was clean and had everything we needed and more. We also got our clothes washed and dried. Claire prepared great breakfast, ever earlier than stated to accommodate our early arrival. Just an excellent stay! I would say the bed was a bit too soft for my liking but that’s just preference.

T'ajuda en tot i et fa sentir com a casa. Recomanacions de rutes i visites ideals. L'esmorzar és d'allò més complet i també té en compte les al·lèrgies i intoleràncies si li escrius per avançat. Habitació prou gran i amb bona temperatura. Lavabo justet però impecable. Compte amb la dutxa, a l'engegar-la de nou després d'ensabonar-se l'aigua surt molt molt calenta.

Communication was clear, her welcome to her family home was genuine and her knowledge of not only the local area but Ireland in general was excellent. She gave us some very useful tips.It was very refreshing to stay with a host who provides a service for tourists rather than just renting a room as so many do now a days. Breakfast was great and the bed very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this stay. Location was perfect for visiting Connemara.

Claire is an amazing host; she made me feel completely at home from the first moment. I slept so well, the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the room had every little detail you could need. I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again the next time I’m in the area. The place has such a warm, peaceful energy, I truly recommend it to anyone looking for rest and kindness.

La literie est de mauvaise qualité et la chambre ne semble pas être réservée pour les clients : décoration de noel sous le lit...Petit déjeuner un peu limite en termes de qualité. L'hôte est absent, les denrées sont à disposition dans un frigo. Rien n'est fait maison.

Wirklich außergewöhnlich nett! Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und das Bett einfach nur heavenly- ich wollte garnicht aufstehen:-) Leckeres Frühstück gab es noch dazu. Einfach super!

Meine Gastgeberin war überaus freundlich und hat mir direkt Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben und mir geholfen, meinen weiteren Solo-Backpacker-Trip zu planen. Das Zimmer ist modern ausgestattet, die Lage ruhig und das Frühstück lecker. Für Abenteuerlustige gibt es eine Burg ca. 30 Min zu Fuß entfernt, mit dem Bus von Galway kommt man auch gut zur Unterkunft!

Leider waren wir zum Ende unsere Reise hier, hätten sehr gerne alles noch umgesetzt. Gastfreundschaft wird hier wirklich groß geschrieben!
• Julia (10/5): Immer wieder gerne! - Die Gastgeberin ist ein herzensguter Mensch und gibt wunderbare Tipps für die weitere Reise. Sie ist sehr bemüht, dass es einem gut geht. Das Zimmer ist riesig und das Bad neu gemacht (noch nicht ganz vollendet renoviert, aber das hat uns nicht gestört.) Allgemein wird mit sehr viel Rücksicht aufeinander im Haus umgegangen, sodass man kaum etwas von anderen mitbekommt.
