- John (10/5): Unwinding in the Cavan countryside - Amanda was an excellent host and provided anything we needed. The property was quiet and centrally located in the Cavan countryside, ideally located for exploring both the east and west coasts and Northern Ireland, as well as being within easy reach of Cavan town with its restaurants and supermarkets. My wife and I enjoyed the fine views from the property as well as exploring the surrounding area by foot, including the picturesque Cloughoughter Castle about a 40 minute walk away along tranquil country lanes. No concerns

- Sean (10/5): If I could've stayed here my entire trip through Ireland, I would have. - If I could've stayed here for my entire trip through Ireland, I would have. It was a fairytale setting, so clean and comfortable. The bed was amazing! I was sad to leave there.
The rolling hills around Killeshandra are not to be missed, and this beautiful place was perfect! I loved all of it.
- Simon (8/5): On était très bien, très au calme ! - Pas de petit déjeuner. Mais accueil très agréable et logement très bien. Le lit en coin dans la chambre.
- Deborah (9/5): A much needed chillaxing cosy break in a gorgeous setting ☺️💚 - It was a little retreat, with just about everything you could need for rest and recuperation. Cosy and relaxing. The only thing I missed was a small freezer because I have lower back problems and could have done with being able to freeze an ice pack. I know if I’d asked our host she would have done it but I didn’t want to bother her. There’s a fabulous large fridge, but a little freezer section would have also meant we could have bough ice cream. Very small negatives for us in reality.
- K (8/5): Very good -
- Greg (9/5): Superb - N/a Did not realise how far out in the countryside the property was
- Noel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arlene (8/5): Very good - Ease of Excess to the property.
Room very clean.
Property off the beaten track but very well signed Self catering however I would have paid extra for some little things in like milk and butter and some bread.
- Fannin (4/5): Disappointing - Myself and my partner went away for three nights, it was a spacious apartment, it had a few kitchen facilities, it had good heating. On the first night the whole kitchen/living area was infested with flies, we would kill around 30 or more flies a night, it made us feel so uncomfortable and on edge. Each morning I would wash the dishes and the lady came in and complained that the water is running. On our last night we were watching TV and we were laughing at the movie, we heard a bang on the wall so we paused the TV and then there was banging on the roof and at the side wall so that was very rude, we were only having fun enjoying ourselves and the owners were banging to tell us to shut up
- Anna (10/5): Lovely stay at Castleview, would definitely come back. - Stayed here whilst at a stay over show at Cavan Equestrian Centre. Property was handy about 15 mins away and much better value for money in comparison to places in Cavan town. Great facilities, made use of the fridge, dining area etc and pull out sofa bed. Clean and tidy and perfect for what we needed. Situated in a beautiful part of the countryside beside a castle. Very easy to get in contact with hosts and they were lovely. Property was perfect for our needs.

- Anne (7/5): Good - It's very quiet and relaxing. It's quite a bit out of Cavan town,so you will definitely need a car.
- Khattak (10/5): Exceptional -
- Khattak (10/5): Exceptional - Nil .
- Jeremy (7/5): Great value for money - Maybe some fresh milk, rather then sachets? The instant coffee had gone solid, but not complaining just stating a fact..
- Anastazja (10/5): Perfect little cosy getaway spot. - It was super cosy and had absolutely everything you needed. The host was also extremely lovely. The drive, especially during the night can be a little tricky so just to be cautious.

Very thoughtful touches , tea, coffee ,sugar , salt +pepper , fruit, biscuits in kitchen.Thank You Amanda.
We really enjoyed our stay , would happily stay again / recommend to others . Nothing really, not so much a dislike , a small freezer area in fridge would be helpful but not a big deal at all.
- William (9/5): Superb -
- Monika (10/5): Pleasant stay - Nice and cosy place Little bit further from Cavan town that we thought- but that’s not a big deal
- Denise (8/5): Very good - Very quiet and rural location. Owners just in house next door if you needed anything. Small but clean and functional. Had everything you need to cater for short stay. Nice and dark and quiet at night due to rural location, helped with a good night's sleep Bathroom bit small but had everything we needed.
Very functional as opposed to luxury. This suited us but might disappoint others.
