- Malathi (7/5): Expensive for the location & facilities, although overall experience was fine - The host was gracious and good natured. Helped us settle immediately. I faced no hassle at all at any point. The location is isolated and I was fine only because we had our own car, otherwise it's difficult to navigate and reach this place through the small lanes. Bigger cars will struggle. Our room had almost no ventilation although there was a window (closed, couldn't open). The bathroom is a bit congested. For the price point, it seems a bit expensive.

- Tamiltraveller (10/5): Beautiful homestay, highly recommended. - The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. It has a common area, perfect for family and friends. The owner is friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating - he even dropped us off at the bus stop early in the morning. He was also happy for us to check in and check out early. The homestay is a bit away from the city so you can enjoy a good night's sleep after exploring the city. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Mahalakshmi Residency. Highly recommended. The homestay is a bit away from the city and good restaurants but you can get takeaway / get an auto into the city.

- Singh (10/5): This homestay might be also a reason to come back to Kanchipuram again. - The courteous and warmth of the owner, clean beds and bathroom. No words to express the peaceful sleep we had after tiring day of Darshana. Absolutely pollution free no noise Calm and peaceful atmosphere. And owner always ready to assist. Excellent place. Highly recommended. Best homestay. Washroom should have basins, rest all is perfect

The rooms are super clean, very nice interiors and more than that the owner Mr.Naidu were very police and courteous. I have no reason to give a star less than 10 as everything was On par expectations. Very much parking available....

- Krishnan (8/5): Very good - The host is wonderful, friendly, helpful and seems to sincerely want his guests to have a good stay. Convenient house with two bedrooms with AC, living room (no AC), two extra beds if needed, TV, good internet connection. Host provides coffee/tea/juice on request and provided an electric kettle too. Unhesitatingly provided extra sheets and toiletries. The place is comfortable. The hospitality makes it even better. One bedroom's attached bathroom has an Indian style toilet, which was unexpected (I'm told that will change in a month). But there are two western style toilets in total. Presence of lots of cobwebs bothered one of our group. Location is a distance away from the main road (for food, etc.), not a problem for us since we had a car.
- Ghopinath (10/5): Our stay was pleasant and enjoyable. - Vajjiravelu provided exceptional assistance, going above and beyond to cater to our needs for our upcoming trip. Not only was he helpful in guiding us, but he also took the initiative to ensure that our requirements were thoroughly addressed. Furthermore, his property was impeccably clean and ideal for families with young children.
- Wayne (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was lovely, greeting me with a delicious lemon tea. As I was leaving I needed phone cables and wiring for my bike so he guided me with his bike introducing me to each shop owner and waited. So considerate and helpful!
