Guest Reviews
- Tony (1/5): - Was stinking of dampness, u couldn't hear the TV with the noise off the gas boiler it was that loud 👎 there was no shower curtain either
- Catherine (4/5): Disappointing because of inconvenience of being unable to shower or wash. - Very comfortable bed & the apartment was clean (bar one pair of left behind socks from a previous visitor). Back of property looks over lawned area and trees, and canal-side walk was interesting & quite pleasant in the sunshine. Although the area is rather down at heel, it was very quiet. In effect there was no shower, because the controls are fixed too high to reach & the shower head was fixed too tightly to move; nor is there a shower screen or curtain, even if you could shower. This was VERY POOR. Nor is there a plug for bathroom sink so impossible for proper wash there. (Bath fine, & water hot!) No lighting in hall. Initial access frustrating because of poor & inaccurate instructions for lockbox. (Video link did not work).
- Donatas (10/5): - Great location. We had everything that we needed for our stay.

- Chidi (7/5): Enjoyed my stay. The outside view of the property was dirty though the inside was clean - The location was on a good site. The appliances all worked perfectly

- Monique (1/5): Bad - Absolutely nothing LEFT THE PROPERTY WHEN I LOOKED AROUND 3 attempts for correct key codes , the flat smelt horrific. Dirty toilet and house throughout , Sent pictures to host ...chose to ignore , Flea spray in cupboards, no electricity wire for TV. I have plenty of photos. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Left the property did not stay any nights.waited 2 hours for response, nothing ......
Mastercard are dealing with property. Paid over £700. Would not respond to bookings.com.
Will be contacting my credit card card , they will draw money back under the Consumer Act.
I tried everything to resolve ....the host was not interested , and they said they would send a cleaner at 11pm .... I think the flea spray says it all.
- Patricia (7/5): Good - The space was clean + comfortable The TV + Wifi didn't work throughout the stay
- Lynette1973 (1/5): avoid at all costs - could cause serious illness. - The location was in walking distance of the train station which was handy and the area was quiet and leafy which was pleasant The property is ridden with toxic black mould in the bathroom, bedroom and hall cupboard.
The sofa bed is broken and could not be slept on.
We had to wash dishes before using them and the oven required attention as someone had clearly cooked a pizza on one of the shelves and remnants remained.
Windows were filthy and you could barely see through them.
Crumbs everywhere on worktops and furniture
seriously in need of a deep clean and certainly not up to the standard you would expect after being charged a £95 cleaning fee.
rental company are currently 'investigating' and communication has been minimal with no updates unless I have chased them up.
given up trying to add photos to this review.
- Podbereckas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Faye (6/5): Location very handy - fine for a work trip but not - Location handy, easy walk along the canal to Westerton station, small shop opposite for amenities. Bed was comfortable. Check in super easy Bathroom smelt of smoke and property could have been a bit cleaner
- Ornella (7/5): I was feeling at home - Clean, confortable and well located place. Moisture in the bath room, the wifi wasn’t working and the bathroom tap dripping 24/7 the noise is unbearable
- Morven (8/5): Great apartment just needs some client care touches added - It was really safe and secure. It was close to the train station into Glasgow and easy to get to places from there. If felt like living in Scotland, not like a hotel. The sofa bed was very comfortable. The Chinese restaurant in the same street was amazing! It is a great space!! Beautifully appointed apartment. Lovely local walks to the canal. We would love to stay here again! The bedrooms face onto the street and do not have Blockout curtains. Car headlights, street lights, and the summer long evenings make it difficult to block out the light for a solid night’s sleep. It really does need Blockout curtains in the bedroom and the front room, where the sofa bed is located. It was difficult to contact anyone to ask questions. After you move in you are basically on your own. We had questions about the door lock and the Wi-Fi which were not answered by email and we had to work them out ourselves. Because it is a ground floor it smells a bit like a cellar (cold, musty) when it has been closed up. The facilities included a washing machine but no washing liquid. The smell and the liquid we rectified ourselves by buying a deodorising spray and some washing detergent. They were easily remedied, but it would be great if these things could be supplied. The lack of communication could be remedied easily by having a simple book of words in the apartment that explain how to secure the front door and where the Wi-Fi password and modem are as well as local facilities, etc. Apart from the small improvements suggested, it was an amazing stay and we would love to stay there again!
