• Darren (10/5): Great stay, Fantastic Hostess!! - We stayed for 3 nights. The location is good, close to many restaurants & shops, close to attractions. The main square is just a short walk. The hostess, Marie Adele is fantastic & would be the main reason I would stay here again. She is a pleasure to deal with, very friendly & helpful. On our first day, she met us with a smile & once we were checked in she gave us a list of close restaurants & coffee shops that she liked & would recommend. On our last day, our train wasn't leaving until 10 at night & she let us store our bags there & use the restroom before we had to leave. The rooms are very clean & has a modern, up to date bathroom. The only drawback is that there is no courtyard to sit at & enjoy a glass of wine, but that was a very minor issue & Marie's friendliness & hospitality by far made up for it. Would have been nice to have an outdoor place to sit to enjoy a drink & relax. Also the picture on Booking.Com, has nothing to do with the actual place

We could leave our luggage on the first and last day, which was very convenient. The room is new, spotless and comfortable. The location is excellent: only 15 minutes to Santa Maria del Fiore, 5–7 minutes to Santa Croce, 2 minutes to the nearest supermarket, and surrounded by many restaurants. • Neil (10/5): Exceptional host, beautiful space, great location just 10 minutes from Duomo - This apartment was absolutely perfect! I wish I could pack it up and take it with me on all my European travels. For Americans accustomed to cramped European accommodations, this space was refreshingly spacious with plenty of room to spread out luggage and move around comfortably. The location is fantastic — just a 10-minute walk from the Piazza del Duomo. Marie Adele is an exceptional host who has thoughtfully designed every detail of this beautifully renovated space. The shower was particularly impressive, and her communication throughout our stay was excellent. She even accommodated our request for a slightly later checkout. I wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation in Florence — you absolutely won’t regret it! Note about air conditioning: During our visit, Florence experienced unusually extreme heat, and the AC (located on the upper level) struggled to cool the entire space completely, making the nights somewhat warm. However, this shouldn’t deter anyone from booking, as the heat wave seemed exceptional, and I doubt any accommodation could have fully overcome such extreme temperatures.

• Mikkel (10/5): Fantastic place to stay for a comfortable yet active visit to Firenze, great host! - Our host was very attentive and flexible, and had excellent recommendations for experiencing Firenze. Excellent location meant we walked every where we went for three days. Room looked newly refurbished, yet with a classic look and feel. Free coffee, tea, and space in a fridge was very welcome for a quick and good value breakfast or an aperitivo in the room in the evening. We didn't think we would have AC in the room, but did nonetheless, which was a huge bonus. Hope I get to come back to Firenze, and get to stay here again!

She goes out of her way to make her guests feel welcomed and cared for. Communication was excellent throughout the booking and on arrival. Fabulous room with lots of little extras, filtered water daily, milk, basket of treats on arrival. Her helpfulness and friendliness made our stay complete. Yes, there was some street noise at night but this is to be expected as people return for their evening out. Nothing.

Her communication was great and response time great too. Local places around to eat and supermarket too. The bed was a bit low for me- I struggled to get up sometimes.. otherwise was fabulous. Yes was noisy on street on a Saturday night but that is not the properties issue. I think the streets carry noise. The host does leave ear plugs just in case. The Sunday and Monday nights we heard nothing.

We would definitely recommend to others and stay again. The accommodation was authentically Italian, comfortable and very clean. It is located in a central location so was easy walking distance to all major attractions. The stand out for this property however is the exceptional host, Marie Adele - she is communicative, kind, extremely helpful and goes out of her way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. She had awesome suggestions for places to eat (at affordable or discounted prices) and visit in the local area. Will be highly recommending thus place to others. Nothing. Had a great stay.

Our stay there was excellent, and it's hard to beat the location as it is a 5 minute walk from the Cathedral. The room is perfect as a base camp during lots of sightseeing The window was hard to close, we actually weren't able to close it properly. Another thing I'd mention is that the noises from the street (basically singing/shouting drunk people walking by) were heard through the bathroom's window, but it wasn't too annoying.

She took care of us from the moment we arrived and made great recommendations. The room was spacious and incredibly well taken care of, clean, and nicely outfitted. We felt more at home than in a hotel. It’s the little things we loved as well- like having enough space to hang our clothes, a coat hook at the entrance, outlets in the right places, fast internet (yes!), soap in refillable containers instead of the little mini plastic bottles… The location in Saint Croce is great for touring around. We just loved it and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back!

She made sure the space was cleaned and available for early check-in, which was much appreciated. Once arrived, she was warm and welcoming with the check-in process, including giving us recommendations for restaurants and bars. Communication was super easy and she was very responsive via WhatsApp. We felt so at home during the stay and the location was fantastic. There were some street noises at night while we were there but that was inevitable due to location and people being out and about at night. Overall, I could not recommend this place enough! Nothing! Everything was exceptional.

Everything was clean and comfortable, with the common toom having a fridge, water, coffee machine etc :) Visited during the hottest peak of summer so the ceiling fan wasn't super suitable for sleeping, but that's not anyone's fault as you can only battle mother nature so much. Would be a 10/10 if there was electric AC
