Guest Reviews
- Joshua (7/5): A good place for a short stay. - A comfy bed. Easy to check in. Located on a busy street and far away from any kind of shop or restaurant.
- Sophie (10/5): Great! Just what we were looking for thank you - Ease of check in check out. Very close to Pilgrims way where we were going, lovely shower and simple but clean The heating was on very high so the room window needed to be left open and the road was very noisy
- Maria Jose (10/5): -
- Lawrence (7/5): Convenient, clean & comfortable place to stay for a night - Simple, clean and fairly comfortable, and right near where I was working the next day. A few places to eat nearby too It was a bit too warm in the room, especially at night, as you can't leave windows open because the road outside is a busy noisy truck route. A fan in the room would help, and heating controls. The shower was a bit small for me (I'm 6'3"). But not too bad for the cost for a night's stay.
- Alessandra (8/5): Great quality/price accommodation - Room was clean, facilities were clean, bed was ok quite soft. A kettle was provided with 2 clean cups, coffee and tea. It was good room for the price so nothing I really didn’t like.

The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing, making it perfect for a good night’s rest. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would definitely stay here again.

- stephen (8/5): - Nice warm, clean and comfortable There was quite a lot of road noise and we arrived late after a family party and there was no where to park.
- Kenny (8/5): - Ease of booking and communication about access to the building when we arrived. Some of the mattresses were a bit tired and could do with updating
- Lyn (9/5): Perfect for what we needed - Location as visiting in Maidstone hospital. No fuss entry on arrival. Good value. Comfortable everything needed for overnight stay. Includes use of shared microwave and fridge freezer in separate room On a busy road lots of lorries as large industrial units further down road but ear plugs soled problem. Bedside tables between beds would have been useful, and usb points would be useful

- Amanda (10/5): Pleasent room, nice for a nights stay - Comfy beds, warm room, quiet Shower head had to be held as was loose but shower was lovely and hot.
- Eyeshiah (7/5): - Everything you and me a great price I must’ve had 200 lorries go past Marks & Spencer‘s and Waitrose shaking the whole place and the toilets upstairs you can hear it like it’s in your room but honestly, a great price for money as much as it has the thoughts of outside but that’s not the properties fault
- Richard (8/5): - Great for contractors.
Good value for money.
- Paul (10/5): - all nice and clean Nothing
- Paul (10/5): - nice big room and clean nothing
- debbie (9/5): Value for money - Location Road was noisy
- Christina (10/5): Comfy, clean, lovely staff, great stay! - Comfy, easy access Loud road outside
- Sandrine (8/5): - Le confort
L’emplacement
- Stella (9/5): Clean with Good Lighting! - The Twin Bedroom has very good lighting and it was really clean.👌🏾 It was comfortable and there was Microwave and Standing Fridge near the bedroom. Only thing was the Shower Gel was low in the bottle, but we didn't complain. It should have been checked before Check-in.
- zoe (10/5): Fab little hide away - Fab communication. Lovely apartment, will be back again N/a
- Nathan (8/5): Great value guesthouse in quite an industrial location - Great value for money, efficient check in, comfortable facilities, bottled water provided, easy to connect to the wi-fi and make a cuppa. The communal fridge and microwave were a nice touch, although I didn't need to use them. Ideal for what I needed. Not bad for quite an industrial location! Quite minor things: one of the taps dripped unless it was turned off incredibly tight, slightly Spartan towels, and I wasn't sure how clean the tops of the wardrobe doors were, given that I needed to touch the top in order to open the first door, as they were designed with no handles.
- Sheelagh (10/5): Great value, perfect location good facilities - The property was in good location. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were perfect for a short stay.
- Joe (5/5): Cheap accommodation, you get what you pay for, would I stay here again, yes of course I would. - Location for us was perfect as we were attending a weekend event at the Kent Rural Life museum just a three minute drive away.
Room 7 ground floor with on suite bathroom, comfortable bed and a good size tv.
Full shared kitchen available for those that need it. No heating so very cold, wasn’t really a problem for us as we were out early and back fairly late, but if you were there during the day not so good.
We had room 7, ground floor at the back, unfortunately no sink plug, so lots of wasted hot water just going straight down the drain, very dark in the bathroom as only two down lights out of six working.
Electric kettle doesn’t turn itself off, so need to keep an eye on it,
Parking outside is free, but there are less spaces than rooms, so first come first served.
Towels are supplied but a bit on the small side, about half the size of a towel,
- Graeme (7/5): Lovely but too hands off - Room was large and comfortable. It was very clean. Everything is virtual : you never meet another person which can feel alienating when travelling alone. Also details of how to access your accommodation is only provided on the Booking.com app. My experience in this trip (charger not working etc.) means that things could go wrong. At least an email should be sent rather than relying on being able to access the app.
- Laszlo (7/5): -
- Paul (10/5): - nice big room and clean Nothing
- Darren (10/5): -
- Oluwakayode (7/5): -
- Muneete (6/5): -
- Tendai Munashe (10/5): - The environment felt very homely. Had a refrigerator and a microwave. That was a bonus for us. Nothing
- Samuel (8/5): Clean and good value for money - Owner was very helpful before check in. The room was tidy and clean.
- Trevor (8/5): -
- Opaleye (7/5): - It worked for our needs Just okay
- samantha (9/5): The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. The towels could have been a little fresher - N/a
- Simon (6/5): Okay but could have been better - Location was ok, parking ok, comfortable bed Bit noisy when people came through front door and could hear shower at 5am above me, woke me up. There was an annoying drip early hours as bathroom ceiling had a leak, probably from the downpour that night.
- best-shaw (5/5): I would not stay in summer when I like to have the window open - unless I was in a back bedroom. - The room was clean and the en-suite was good.
There was a fridge and a microwave in a nearby room for my use and a plate, knife and fork were provided for me.
I left a necklace th==in the room and the owner kindly contacted me to let me know and offered to post it to me. Instead I shall collect it next time I am that way.
Aylesford village is lovely to wander round. I also recommend the Little Gem pub. The room is next to a very busy road. There is a supermarket depot nearby and the lorries were constant and very noisy. There was a notice to say it is best to keep the window shut for this reason but it was an incredibly hot weekend (not the owner's fault) and they had provided a fan for my use.
There was no room for a bedside table as there was a wardrobe next to the bed in the small room.
- Wendy (8/5): -
- Bello Altuve (10/5): - Self check-in
- Linda (9/5): Perfect for us - Welcoming clean friendly guesthouse.
Use of main kitchen and garden if required.
- Dwayne (5/5): - Spacious rooms No shops, on a industrial estate
- Wayne (7/5): - Clean and tidy
Very easy to find
Helpful with communication All good
- Gagandeep Singh (3/5): I would not recommend - The fridge and the microwave were the only nice thing 1 bed very small
2 bathroom very small
3 under the bed there were crumbs all over and very unhieginique
4 next to a busy road and no sound sleep
5 not worth the money I spent
- Simon (9/5): - Convenient location, good facilities, excellent communication from host, and easy check-in and check-out. On a hot evening when you need the window open it is a bit noisy being so close to the main road - but we knew this in advance and it didn't detract from the positive experience we had.
- Sonia (8/5): Overall reasonable - No breakfast. We could not use the kettle, as someone staying had used it to make soup in it. Disgusting smell. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Megan (4/5): Disappointing - Comfy bed - cheap room easy check in LIMITED PARKING - my car got vandalised because I had to park on the main road due to their lack of parking & other residents taking up more than 1 space & property doesn’t care
Shower doesn’t drain so had to have a 30 second shower other wise bathroom would have filled up
Very noisy road
- Brian (7/5): Good - Room was clean and comfortable and provided everything we needed . Located near an industrial park so lots of passing traffic .
- John (8/5): Very good -
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Claire (8/5): Good thank you - Could tell lots of effort had been made there v clean and comfy. Noisy at four am. Lots of people leaving and loud.
- Tanya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bradley (8/5): Very comfy bed. -
- Helena (9/5): Superb - Easy to find and very convenient. Very spacious and quiet room at back of accommodation.
- Przemyslaw (9/5): Superb - All what I needed for a job stay👍 -
- Steve (8/5): .OK but not as good as expected. - We were lucky because we had the ground floor room but as far as I could see all the other rooms were up a very steep set of stairs.
We were also lucky with parking because there was 7 rooms but only room for parking 5 cars. Our shower room had a very very tiny sink, not very useable. The stairs to the fridge were very steep, not what I would call building regulation size.
Parking outside was only for 5 cars on the guesthouse parking bay. The road was for private resident parking only, not for the guesthoues. Not safe to park on the main road because of too many lorries.
- Clement (9/5): Good location, clean with pleasant staff - Very clean, helpful cheerful, staff not Nothing to recall
- Mr. (5/5): Passable -
- Annalise (9/5): Amazing! Communicative host, clean comfy room! - Monika communicated excellently. She showed so much care and consideration, which was lovely and quite rare!
The bed was so, so comfortable. Netflix on the TV which was amazing since we had travelled all the way from Germany and just wanted to relax upon arrival.
Everything was really clean too. Hand towels could have made a great addition. Room 5 is on the road so in the summer it might be difficult sleeping with window shut - but a good fan is provided
- Leone (8/5): Very good -
- Suzanne (8/5): Great value will definitely stay again - Lovely comfy bed. Very clean, good location nice area Room got very hot...fan was supplied. We put food in fridge on day 1..got thrown out bu day 2 in fairness we didn't label it so our fault.
- Hannah (6/5): A cheap and basic room if you just need somewhere to sleep. - Easy check in process with lockbox, and good communication from landlord. Easy to find. The parking was limited and our ground floor room meant we couldn’t leave the windows open, so the room was hot and stuffy, and smelt slightly smoky. A window safety catch might solve this, but traffic may have been disruptive if windows were open!
The shower was temperamental with hot/cold controls and was damaged - could do with an upgrade. Bedding and furniture was clean but very basic.
- James (3/5): Poor - The shower was head didnt stay up, the cubicle leaked. The main door is just a cheap cardboard internal door and needs some more sound deadening
- Andrew (1/5): Bad -
- Druvaskalna (10/5): Relaxing stay - Nice, comfy room. I was a bit confused about parking but parked in front of guest house and I hope it was parking spot not just a road.
- Dadzie (8/5): Very good -
- Geoff (8/5): Good value for money, I would use the Aylesford to stay again. - Friendly host.
Easy self check in.
Location to village and motorway
Size of bedroom and bathroom. Noisy road traffic, which was to be expected. Sleep with window closed but the host does provide an excellent fan.
Decor is slightly tired.
- Jonas (8/5): Very good -
- Tom (9/5): Superb -
- Elaine (7/5): Good -
- Kasun (10/5): Free parking ...no rush - Free parking No kitchen access
No hot water
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Russell (8/5): It’s a nice place to stop and will stay there again - Very easy to get into. Good Parking. Nothing to dislike
- Charlene (1/5): Bad - There. Was a issues with in the beds by 8 year old slept on she actually grazed her leg on the bed from a broken spring
Really not family friendly. Stayed her for a break on route to Folkestone shuttle
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional - Really helpful and quick to respond. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and big. Very quiet. Perfect for our overnight stay. My elderly mum thought the towels were a bit small and rough
- Zacorich (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jerney (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (8/5): Guest house - exactly what it says on the website - Good location

- Bazza⚒️⚒️ (7/5): Good -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
