• Anna (9/5): - Very clean, easy access to facilities including full kitchen with washer, comfy beds, very convenient location. Appreciate the hostel providing shampoo/ body wash. Will definitely stay here in the future if we're lucky enough to return. Only small blemish were showers: one did not drain properly so you have to be careful not to overflow it, the other shower did not have a hook up for the shower head. Was a little hard to find: should be buffed that the hostel is part of the Vestmannaeyjar hotel.

• Nina (8/5): Very good - Big rooms and comfortable beds, facilities good, we basically had the place to ourselves. Very central. Sauna and Hottub for extra charge.

• Anna (9/5): Superb - Well organized, clean, quiet, and nicely situated. Spacious family room and very comfortable for a family of four. Little hard to locate, at the back of another hotel.

• Anonymous (10/5): Very pleasent. - I want to point out that the step is too high when one is walking from the kitchen over into the hotel section. I misstepped twice. One does not anticipate the step being so high. This can be dangerous and I fortunately did not hurt myself. Please try to fix as a prevention from accidents occurring.

• Audrius (9/5): Four of us enjoyed staying - Location is perfect! Staff is friendly and helpful, everything is cleaned accurately. Stairs to the second floor, but they are everywhere this type on the island.

• Michelle (7/5): Easy spot to stay at right in town! - We loved the location! In the heart of town and east to get around. We were moved from the hostel into the hotel which was fine and it was very comfortable. The photos on the booking show a hot tub inside the hotel which was why we booked there. Come to find out it’s unavailable to use with “the price we paid” which I felt like was false advertising.

• Miriam (10/5): Central hostel with great shared facilities - Clean hostel, well stocked kitchen with fridge and freezer space for guests. Beds were very comfy. Central location with free parking outside. Difficult to find it, its inside a hotel, check in at the hotel desk "Hotel Vestmannaeyjar". Pin on Google is incorrect. Twin bedroom was a bit small.

• W (8/5): Very good - The guesthouse staff is friendly and very supportive, the room was clean and had a bunk bed and two single beds, all very comfortable. The location is close to many attractions and the harbour where the ferry arrives. The kitchen oven was so dirty that it set off the fire alarm when we used it. There are no lids to the pots when we cooked and overall the kitchen could be better equipped.
• Sebarne (8/5): Very good - Very central location, clean rooms, comfy bed, clean facilities, plenty of parking in front of the house Room was very, very small. There was no space to open a suitcase, but we managed. The kitchen is very small considering the amount of rooms. Luckily not all guests wanted to cook, when we cooked. Somebody took the electric kettle to his/her room (no fault of the staff), so we had to heat our water for every cuo of tea on the stove which took ages.
