- Paul (10/5): Loved the apartment - A great place to stay. Clean, comfortable and has everything you need.
Location is excellent Nothing
- ann (8/5): Warm welcome in Wantage! - Charlotte was fab host. Venue position great central location.
Wantage was a lovely town. Local amenities eg Sainsbury's was good for self catering. We plan to come back.
- Roger (8/5): - The Location was brilliant.
The staff were excellent The parking was perfect The patio area was a little tired looking
- TinaMorris (10/5): A beautiful haven in the middle of Wantage - The pictures don't do it justice, I had imagined a terraced house with an apartment above and a tiny sauna-like building in the yard, when in fact the Studio had loads of space and privacy around it as well as everything you could possibly need inside from kitchenette, comfortable bed, large shower, tastful decor and very nice host Charlotte
- Gulian (10/5): -
- Penny (10/5): - Everything was great
- Andrew (9/5): The property and location exceeded our expectations in a small but lively market town. - Property was spacious clean and well kept with all the amenities you could want. Location was amazing, just a few yards from the centre on the town which is nestled in the middle of very scenic rolling hills and meadows. Plenty to keep you interested by both day and night. Property owners were very friendly and helpful, as were all the locals. Idyllic church bells rang from several locations on the Sunday morning which for me was summed up our stay, The best of British. Nothing to dislike.
- Joseph (10/5): Great little apartment in a great location - Great friendly host couldn’t be more central perfect for what we needed
- MaryMooMouse (9/5): - Lovely little hide away with hot tub Hot tub and little overlooked by opposite windows but they may be empty rooms! Could get blocked in by parking but we used the nearby car park. Not an issue if you know.
- steve (10/5): Great communication with Charlotte who owns the studio.. hot tub was amazing .. even managed to squeeze in a cheeky mass - Very secluded property for the hot tub near to the small town centre would really recommend The Bear Inn for food Nothing
- Kate (8/5): -
- Larissa (7/5): Clean tidy comfortable, despite mentions, I would recommend and stay again. - Clean and good location, extremely helpful host communication was 10/10. Good value for money Broken mirrors stood up in court yard make area look untidy, the hot tub is more overlooked than the photos show. Blinds on doors a little hard to manoeuvre left down when leaving to avoid damaging as cords felt tight.
- Penelope (10/5): - The owner/host was very helpful over the phone, also the accommodation itself was clean and had everything we needed. There wasn't anything I didn't like, everything was great
- Zoe (8/5): Nice apartment in the center of Wantage - Great to park at the bottom of the steps to the apartment, had a few communications with Charlotte and she was informative and super helpful, WiFi worked well enough for surfing but not good enough for a WhatsApp video Bed was too soft for me, HGV reversed down the road to the shop opposite every early morning
- Chris (10/5): Highly recommenced - Everything Nothing
- Natasha (10/5): Super apartment - Great location. Very clean, tidy, warm and cosy.
- Gemma (10/5): Boyfriend loved it, very private with a self contained courtyard. We would definitely stay again and are hopeful plannin - Booked primarily for the hot tub which despite the wet weather we did actually use it. Location is great, not too far from local amenities.
- P A Z (3/5): Not worth £117. Other places cheaper and better. - Location Awful bed and pillows. Poor shower.
- Bethan (10/5): -
- David (9/5): Very clean, convenient and handy place for downtown Wantage - Very clean and convenient. Super handy for centre of town. Wantage that is not Grove Broken glass counter by wash basin
- Dalton (10/5): Fabulous host place town - Charlotte the house was fantastic
The place is stunning the hot tub a gorgeous touch loved everything will 💯 be staying again
- Helen (7/5): -
- Mandy (9/5): - We were a group of 3 friends and booked the accommodation as it had a hot tub
and a beauticians attached to it, we wanted massages. Unfortunately the beauticians is only open every other weekend and we'd picked dates it was closed. However, I Charlotte was very accommodating and organised for one of the therapists to work the morning so we could have a little pamper before we headed off. A very central location, cute little studio and loved the hot tub. Highly recommend. Nothing to dislike

- Kirstie (10/5): -

- Audrey (8/5): Nice place! - Very helpful host. We had bikes and they were very helpful. Bed slightly soft for our liking but lovely place.
- Victoria (5/5): Pleasant stay - Lovely clean accommodation, very friendly welcoming hosts, great location Too noisy, people partying until 3am next door, and people leaving the pubs etc so couldn't sleep and we had to be up early was a bit frustrating as we had a 4 hour drive home with little to no sleep
- sandra (9/5): - Appartamento spazioso in centro vicino alla fermata dell'autobus e a ristoranti e negozi. Parcheggio privato utile, Charlotte molto gentile e disponibile
- Sonya (8/5): Tranquil retreat - The studio was clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee provided. Towels provided smelt lovely. Nice to have a fridge and microwave. No cooker. Smart TV was available and connected to the owner's profile which was great. The shower was good and washing products were provided.
I enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi after a stressful day. Air conditioning unit was provided and a fan so it was a comfortable temperature.
. There were some weeds and leftover building materials lying around, and pots without plants, which spoilt the outside area , just needs a little TLC to be perfect
- Greg (10/5): -
- Kim (10/5): Lovely little annex/studio. Clean and fresh. Will definitely use again. - The property was lovely and clean, and it was better than I expected. This was my first time using this type of accommodation as I usually stay in hotels for disability reasons. But would definitely use this place again. The hot tub was a fantastic bonus as well and it helped loads with my pain. There’s nothing I can think of. Myself and my Son were both tired from our long day and we both fell asleep early after using the hot tub.
- Astrid (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly and quick service from the host. Beautiful flat in a beautiful town. 30 minutes to Oxford by car.
- Simon (9/5): Nice little place - Full size kitchen and fridge Just be aware the entrance is up the alley way, took us a few mins to find... a little note about that maybe helpful
- Margaret (8/5): Very good -
- Andrzej (5/5): Overall ok, but... - I liked the location, clear instructions to collect the keys and access the property. Property is clean. 1. Sofa bed is not suitable to sleep on, it's old and broken and barely stays in one piece. It shouldn't be offered as an additional bed. I would be very disappointed if needed to sleep on it for more than one night. 2. Water pressure under the shower was extremely low. 3. Not many kitchen accessories, there was no proper chopping board or washing up sponge.
- Steven (9/5): Superb -
- Nobuko (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (9/5): Superb -
- John (8/5): Really enjoyed it - Cooked our own All was good.
- Zoe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Richard (8/5): Great town centre flat - The flat at Segais was very spacious and well equipped. Charlotte was very helpful when we arrived a bit early, we travelled to Wantage by cycling and she helped us store our bikes straight away. The location is perfect, bang in the middle of Wantage and close to all the shops , cafes and restaurants. The flat was good value for somewhere so central. The beds weren't the comfiest but not a problem for our one night stay
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nelson (9/5): Superb - A lovely overnight stay in the studio!Ideal for in town and exploring the area!Great having a hot tub with this room!Very nice and a great host!
- Nicola (7/5): Good - It was a lovely little studio in à very convenient location. We loved the hot tub The blinds in the studio were too thin and let a lot of light in very early in the morning - before 6am
- Nick (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location. Used before and would recommend to anyone
- Natalie (10/5): Excellent girls weekend away in the heart of the town. Charlotte was a great host and helped us out with everything - Excellent location, plenty of room and great facilities
- Karen (10/5): Superb - host were great , understanding could not recommend more - It’s located a few steps form the main high street- the parking was fab - the studio its self is compact but everything you need is included Nothing
- Dimasha (9/5): Superb -
- Jane (10/5): King Alfred's Way Traveller - perfect location for stop over. Helpful owner, Charlotte and definitely recommend 👌
- Tony (9/5): Wonderful place to stay in a great location.will definitely be checking in again! - Great place, everything you needed and wonderful location
- Jennifer (7/5): Good -
- Jalie (8/5): Very good -
- Anne (9/5): Comfortable studio conveniently located in centre of Wantage. - Great location in centre of Wantage, quiet, comfortable.
- Stuart (9/5): Superb -
- Kayleigh (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect would definitely stay again!
- Emily (4/5): Nice for an overnight stay - Location was excellent as all amenities were within a short walking distance. I liked that there was an air con unit and a fridge freezer ready for arrival. The hot tub filters were not in function so the hot tub was dirty, after going in it a shower would have been nice, but the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold, so we could not use it. The mattress wasn't bad, but I did not sleep well, maybe due to the outside lights, my partner did not sleep at all.
- Lucy (10/5): Lovely location and perfect for what we needed and Sainsbury’s being so close was a bonus. - Very happy with this stay. Soft towels and kitchen to use.
- Kane (7/5): Short and Sweet - Studio, Bed & Hot tub Shower didn’t work
- Alan (8/5): Very good -
- Amanda (8/5): Weekend visiting family - Great location with free parking outside. The owners were very friendly and helpful.
- Emma (10/5): Perfect getaway at a great price - So clean, has everything you need and more. Hot tub was amazing. Garden is spacious and tidy with a great bbq.
Bed was so so comfortable The shower wasn’t very strong
- Anne (8/5): Comfortable accommodation in good location. - I like staying at Segais for its convenience to the centre of Wantage and also as a parking space is available. The accommodation is clean and comfortable.
- John (8/5): A most convenient and enjoyable stay. - Ease of access, comfortable bed, well-equipped kitchen, and most of all the use of a hot tub for my family! No problems
- Miriam (9/5): Superb -
- Andy (9/5): Superb - The owner was always reachable quickly to arrange check in & out Nothing
- Julia (10/5): Excellent - Location. Parking.Privacy N/a
- James (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephen (10/5): Exceptional - Great location and owner was really helpful. Will definitely use again when back down.
- Andy (8/5): Very good -
- Christopher (7/5): Good -
- Sphia (8/5): Very good - Very loud on the street outside but not the hosts fault.
- Payne (7/5): Great location; lovely little garden area made it all quite relaxing. - Great location and a nice little oasis in the centre of town. Felt the hot tub was a little questionable on cleanliness, could not detect any chlorine and there was build up of dirt in places.
Blinds on the windows were bot great either.
- Anne (9/5): Comfortable studio, centrally located. - Great location in Wantage, easy communication with the host, clean and comfortable self-contained studio with parking available.
- Gary (7/5): Good - Lovely town and accomodation was clean and all we needed.
The owner Charlotte was friendly and helpful though she should of sorted
the TV out beforehand as it was constantly losing internet connection and she spent ages trying to fix it without much success and then provided us with a radio, which was good of her but really should of been in the accomodation to start with. The biggest bug bear was the lack of blind or curtain on the bedroom window, my wife was sat up in bed and waved to the lads working next door just ten feet away on the scaffolding looking straight in. Very poor and not right frankly. Still not bad place and will visit again but not to same accomodation, sorry.
- Margaret (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stella (6/5): Room was clean and tidy. Was a studio not 1 bedroom. Quite expensive for what it is. - Good location, quiet and clean Bed was not very comfortable, limited space for hanging things, WiFi was poor which meant TV didn’t work so well, buffered a lot.
- Aoibhinn (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely clean apartment and welcoming. Central location. Personally the bed was too soft for me but this is personal as I prefer hard mattresses.
Noisy in the morning
- Dina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mikey (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (8/5): Central to Wantage - The flat cannot be more in the centre of Wantage. The room is quite spacious. Same as the bathroom
- Mills (8/5): Very good - Good size apartment including kitchen. Location great although a little noisy due to being right on the street. Bed was quite uncomfortable. As above quite noisy and we were woken up by the bin lorry first thing in the morning.
- Jonathan (7/5): Good -
- Daniel (8/5): Very good - Good bedroom. Good location. Parking available. Happy to take dog and baby. Good kitchen. Good value. Hallway connecting to another flat separated only by a wardrobe. Was scary hearing another person in the flat as we thought it was the whole apartment to ourselves. We understand a wall was temporarily removed to deal with a bathroom issue. Photos were not all of the apartment we hired. Sofa uncomfortable.
- Joachim (7/5): Disappointed - The apartment was very clean and the location is excellent, right in the middle of town. The staff was very friendly and the owner responded to our concerns with apologies. The place seemed somewhat under construction:
there is no privacy, since the is a large glass front facing the neighbours, but the curtains had been ripped down.
The bedroom shade was non-functional and needs to be replaced.
The shower in the bathroom had a leak underneath and the entire floor was damaged due to consistent flooding.
At the price they are charging, these problems should absolutely not exist.
- Twamley (8/5): Very good - Great location and lovely, very spacious apartment. Very friendly and helpful owner. Slightly awkward for parking at the moment due to scaffolding, but to be fair the owner has provided an alternative a little way away.
- Edward (7/5): Owner lovely but need to sort mould issues out - Location. Mould and bleach smell everywhere
- Chris (8/5): Very good - Location There was no iron to use
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ashley (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arkadiusz (9/5): Superb -
- Harries (7/5): Lovely location parking was issue as needed fob and that wasn’t available until late afternoon, but scaffolding up so ho - Property was lovely and large and the location perfect. Kitchen was not particularly clean. Sink and hob were dirty. We did not use mugs or spoons for tea as very dirty. Outside had no lighting when we arrived back in evening and as iron stairs up to the apartment it was fairly dangerous not being able to see.
- Rebecca (10/5): Had a lovely stay would definitely come again - Cosy and very central Nothing
- Louise (10/5): It was perfect for my weekend - Great communication and very accommodating....5* thank you Charlotte : )
- Sacha (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (5/5): Passable -
