• Steven (10/5): Thank you for a very pleasant stay! - The family that operates the guesthouse are all very attentive and friendly. Dinner and breakfast were served in very generous portions and were very tasty. I had arrived after my long hike through the gorge feeling fatigued and stiff, and the bed was quite comfortable. I awoke feeling fresh and loosened up.

• Franz (9/5): - Das alte Guesthouse hat einen sehr besonderen Charm. Die Aussicht ist Grandios. Vasili hat uns einiges über Vikos erzählt und sehr gute Tips für die Weiterfahrt mit dem Motorrad mit Beiwagen gegeben. Es ist eine absolute Empfehlung.
• Petra (7/5): - Das Personal ist sehr freundlich.Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und sehr lecker. Der Griechische Salat ist ein Traum. Man kann gleich in der Vikos Schlucht wandern ohne Umwege. Der Duschvorhang gehört besser angebracht. Bewegungsmelder im Stiegenhaus sind von Vorteil da man plötzlich im Dunkeln steht, wenn das Licht ausgeht.

The location above the gorge with gigantic views to the rocks on the opposite side and over the plane to the mountains of Albania in the other direction are incredible. The family who own the guesthouse is lovely and the younger generation speaks English very well. Food is delicious and very cheap. Truly a special place.

The breakfast was delicious, there was more than enough to eat and it lasted us into the day for our hiking! We were given lots of homemade pies and cakes also. The location was great for walking into the gorge.

• Παπαθανασίου (7/5): It was a pleasant experience but the property can have some improvements - The location was really good and the owner very helpful and friendly. The bed wasn’t comfortable, the bathroom was small and it had no soundproofing.

• Mike (10/5): - Οι ιδιοκτήτες ήταν άκρως φιλικοί και το δωμάτιο αν και όχι πολύ μεγάλο ήταν πάρα πολύ καθαρό και ζεστό. Όλα ήταν υπέροχα και ευχαριστούμε τους ιδιοκτήτες για την φιλική στάση τους.
• Κρητικού (4/5): - Η θέα και η ζέστη του χώρου. Το μέγεθος του δωματίου, η εξυπηρέτηση και το ότι δεν ήταν βολικό π.χ. πολύ σκληρό στρώμα, εντελώς άβολη ντουζιέρα, ούτε μια καρέκλα, κρεβάτι κολλημένο στο καλοριφέρ, ψυγείο στη θέση του κομοδίνου, τηλεόραση που δεν έπαιζε.

• Renate (6/5): - Die Lage war Super. Gleich nebenan der Abstieg in die Vitosschlucht über die Springroute. Sehr gemütlicher Außenbereich und auch der Ort macht einen netten Eindruck. Leider war ich im Oktober bei nasskaltem Wetter dort. Die Unterkunft war beheizt. Das kein WiFi möglich war. Soll an der Wetterlage gelegen haben.

The location is excellent, just as you exist the climbing trail from the water pools. The room of twin bed was too small for the 2 beds; with the bathroom and toilet almost within the room…
• Yaakov (1/5): Avoid this guesthouse at all cost. In fact, for most there is no need to spend the night in Vikos, as there’s a regular - Avoid at all cost. We booked a triple room for one night. The room had the charm of a prison cell — three single beds crammed into a small space with little room to spare. Consistent with the prison cell theme, there was no hot water in the shower, which we sorely needed after a day’s walk down the Vikos gorge. There was also no heating in the tiny bathroom. The door to the bathroom/toilet was broken, so it couldn’t be closed. Only one of the beds had a proper blanket, the rest just had sheets and a thin bed cover. Needless to say, we didn’t get a good night sleep.

• Anestis (10/5): Τελεια διαμονή - Ηταν μια τέλεια τοποθεσία. Πολυ καλο δωμάτιο, εξαιρετικο πρωινό, με ντοπια προϊόντα. Το φαγητο που σερβιρεται ειναι καλα μαγειρεμένο. Τελεια φιλοξενία. Σιγουρα θα ξαναρθουμε σύντομα Ισως η προσθηκη ενος μικρου ψυγείου στο δωμάτιο.

• Robert (9/5): A most welcome place after a hard days hike. The taverna/GH is close to an excellent Gorge viewpoint - At the end of a long day's hike down the famous Vikos Gorge this GH attached to the village taverna was a welcome refuge. The staff were most helpful and provided a most acceptable breakfast It is a tough climb out of the gorge to reach this hilltop village

• Karen (8/5): Comfortable guesthouse with lovely staff close to Vikos Gorge - Great location, superb views of Vikos gorge, good menu, exceptionally friendly and helpful staff, yummy breakfasts and even accommodated our request for an early breakfast on our last day. Our room was small but our request for twin beds may have contributed to this.
• Jian (9/5): location at the center of Vikos village - The location is right at the center of Vikos village, with plenty of parking and two restaurants/cafes. The room is clean. At back of the guesthouse, there are great viewing platforms to see the deep gorge and high rocky hilltop. The room needs more electricity power sockets near the bedhead. It takes quite some time to run the water to have hot water to reach the room.

Hosts were extremly friendly and nice, and we've enjoyed a lovely dinner and breakfast. We've enjoyed exploring the village, and the short walk to the Vikos gorge overview

Beautiful experience! - Excellent location Value for money related to this area Good breakfast Serve good food in the restaurant The shower is without a window; the ceiling in the shower is diagonal so there is not enough room to stand. It is always good to be able to stand up when having a shower. There also was nowhere to hang up a couple of items of clothing to dry outside.

• Jakub (6/5): Pleasant - Conveniently located by the entry to the beautiful Vikos gorge. Pleasant owners. Good breakfast with coffee, eggs, bread, butter, marmelade, and slices of cheese and ham. No light in the bathroom, had to make do with the light from the living room, however, that bulb went out the day before my departure (luckily I managed to shower before that 😅)
• Steven (8/5): Comfortable, good value place for a one-night stay - Perfect location at one end of the long Vikos Gorge walk. Family-run and friendly. Excellent breakfast. Cosy cafe/bar/restaurant. Room took a while to heat up, probably because it had not been used for a while.

• Deimantė (9/5): Superb - I find it strange that we were the only guests in this guesthouse at the time, but we received undivided attention from the staff. The place itself is very lovely and unique, beautiful stone house, with balcony and view of the surrounding mountains, also there is a lot of greenery. Place is very close to Vikos gorge trail and viewpoint is almost in the yard of guesthouse. Also the tomatoes they serve are amazing Just like to point out were is no WiFi in the room, it is in restaurant. But we didn't missed it as we enjoyed national park too much
