Guest Reviews
- Redmond (10/5): - The location superb. Apartment was immaculate and comfortable
- karen (9/5): Oban weekend - Very central to all amenities No lift for 3rd floor flat damp smell in stairwell ,rats rummaging in bins across the road
- Alan (9/5): Relaxing and comfortable, close to everything we wanted to do. - Clean, comfortable, good kitchen enabling self-catering, great location.
- David (8/5): Good location , fine if you like lots of stairs. Well presented - Good location, close to shops and restaurants
Good facilities including crockery washing machine and microwave
Comfortable and clean. Good shower. Up three long steep flights of stairs and no elevator as seems to be the case throughout Scotland
Didn’t even try to carry our suitcases up there, would have killed me.
Parking is a pain. Only free parking is up a horrendous steep flight of stairs leading to Ardconnell street. Absolute heart attack material. My heart rate was at 200 by the time I reached the top. There is council paid parking but it is restricted after 9am.
- Siemens Gamesa (8/5): Overall I enjoyed the stay as it all fitted into my working pattern. - Location in centre of town, clean and modern. There is no lift which will be a problem if you have mobility issues as this flat is on the 3rd floor.
Flat is nice but compact, room and kitchen type with bathroom. No room for a sofa to relax on so the bed has to do. For me it was ideal as a single traveller and it would be cosy for 2 people.
Parking is on the street or carpark 30m away. You have to pay during the day but free after 6pm till 9am Mon to Fri. Weekend is 6pm till 1pm on Sunday. Saturday something similar.
- Francesca (9/5): Tutto super confortevole!! - Posizione, facilità parcheggio, lavatrice, cucina per mangiare, volendo, a casa Mancanza ascensore e appoggi/ganci vicino alla doccia per asciugamani
- Peter (9/5): The apartment is ideally situated for exploring the lovely town of Oban. - Modern, clean and tidy. Nothing.
- Trevor (8/5): Lovely central apartment in excellent location but beware of the stairs - Clean, bright, roomy Third floor accessed by stairs only.
- jh03dun (9/5): Great Location - The location because it's very near the town,
Room was very well equipped and very comfortable Rubbish bin at the front door.
We like some personal service.
Very noisy with people going up and down the Jacobs Ladder next the building.
Very strong smell of hash (green) in the entrance and in the room from people outside
WHICH CANT BE HELPED FROM THE OWNERS.
- Duncan (9/5): Superb -
- Aaron (9/5): Superb -
- Jean (9/5): Short break in Oban - Very clean, good location, comfortable bed, nice decor, lovely shower and bathroom, only the one room was fine for a short stay. We were given a code for the main door of the property, unfortunately the door was unlocked, there was a notice posted on the inside of the door telling us not to lock the door, this made us feel that the security was not good in the apartment block
- Carol (8/5): Lovely apartment - Great location
Nicely decorated 3 flights of stairs
Would have liked a sofa to sit on
- Brenda (10/5): Very happy well designed interior - Clean and comfy well thought out only thing I would say Not a fault mire to be considered perhaps a couple of hooks in bathroom to hang toiletry bag and house coat when showering The 51 stairs to floor 3
- Andrew (8/5): Amazing location but bed was ordinary - Location awesome 4 flights of stairs that we didn’t know until we had paid. Bed was terrible
- Susan (7/5): Good for what we needed - Bright and warm
- Tanya (10/5): A nice, comfortable stay in Oban. - It was so close to the harbour and shops. Also, the kitchen was great and easy to cook a meal in. Another sitting room separate from the living room would have been nice, but this apartment really was nice.
- Oliver (9/5): Superb -
- Tipping (9/5): Superb - The apartment was perfectly located in the centre of Oban. It is a compact little unit, but provides the perfect base from which to explore the area. Very comfortable. Hiking 3 flights of stairs with cases and provisions.
- Carol (8/5): Very good -
- Susan (8/5): Very good - Very convenient location. Bedside tables too high, towel hooks in thd bathroom would be good. The towel rails are right next to the toilet. An decent shelf near the washbasin would be useful.
- Lim (8/5): Very good -
- Maryann (8/5): Would stay again - Great little apartment! Difficult to find and the hosts directions were poor. Luckily we encountered another couple leaving the building who helped us. They confirmed we were at the correct location. Name on the building was different and showed us how to get the keys. It might have all been easier if we had arrived earlier in the day.
- Mahshid (8/5): Very good -
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Harry (8/5): Very good - A banging from something on the outside near the window
- Derek (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (10/5): Excellent apartment and fishing town - Excellent apartments! Extremely clean. Very well looked after. Couldn’t fault the apartment!!! Centre of town. Absolutely loved Oban and the apartment! Would 100% stay again. Highly recommend!!! Everything you need in apartment is there for you to use… Hope we can rebook next year! Thank you 😊 3 flights of stairs but property was worth it
- Diane (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nanette (8/5): stay was very good close to all amenities apartment was very clean and had every thing that was need - did not have breakfast the location was great was told the flat on second floor but it was on third floor no lift

- Moira (8/5): I love Oban! Have been there many times. We had a lovely stay and we will be back. Thank you.😊 - Comfortable open plan room with all facilities you need. En suite toilet with shower, towels, washing machine, clothes drying rack, microwave, kettle, cooker, fridge with small freezer etc. Located in the centre of Oban. We climbed up the many steps that were located at the side of the apartments to Mcaigs Tower. Super view! Two car parks within a 2 minute walk from apartment. The property was hard to find….needs clearer instructions/map or picture from outside and information to say that the apartments are renovated from where the distillery was. The view from the window wasn’t as shown in their advertisement, instead we were looking at side/roof of church. Room number 9. Although there was a better view sitting in bed of part of the harbour. Overall I would stay there again as the apartment is clean, compact and has everything you need for a short or long stay in Oban. Take your own tea, coffee etc though as it’s not provided. Again not a problem for us as we have our own preferences.
- John (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mary (9/5): Very happy with this stay - Beautiful apartment. Great for my partner who was working remotely. Location was close to town centre making it easy to pop out for a seafood lunch. Had a really relaxed stay. Worth noting that if you park where they recommend there is a lot of steps to climb/descend. Probably not very suitable for those with mobility issues
- Anonymous (4/5): Oban is stunning but we wouldn go back to this apartment - not a lot to be honest.. we were awake most off Friday night with young ones taking drugs outside on the steps and the same on the Saturday night smoking cannibas and the smell was disgusting.. we love Oban but our stay was wasted with the above…
- Martin (9/5): Great flat in center of Oban - Cleanliness and location. Noisy bathroom extractor fan.
