Guest Reviews
- peter (10/5): David is very professional and friendly. - A bit basic, didn't have spreads for the bread, which itself was great. The meal i had for tea time was excellent. a great stop over, i'll be back!
- Jahnee (9/5): Good crossroads stay after a long drive. Staff was super. - Staff provided a Starbucks coffee beverage over ice at breakfast. Room was small but clean and well organized. Good security. The location was right in CBD. Nothing.
- Jorge Alberto (10/5): Perfect place to stop to rest - The person in charge was amazing, he made us feel like at home, auper friendly and was willing to go above and beyond for our late check in.
- Poh Joo (9/5): - Clean room and the good Manager provided the best services. A highly recommended place to stay.

- Jennifer (9/5): - We were skeptical when we pulled up. Only to feel like we were with family. David and his team welcomed us with open arms and hospitality beyond compare. We had a clean and quiet room. Dinner at Inspiration was delicious! We loved this place!!
- Michael (8/5): - Breakfast had great choices, dinner was delicious, room was clean and comfortable, staff very friendly and efficient. Like been able to get a coffee 24/7 and secure parking was a bonus Yard needed some atte tion
- Debbie and Keith (8/5): Memorable for its differences, they were not deficiencies. - Given such little choice for a place to stay in the Mullewa and extended surrounding area, the Inspirations at Mullewa was a secure retreat with friendly staff, good facilities and OK rooms. We would quite happily stay there again ourselves and are happy to recommend it to others. Our room was a little ordinary, but given Mullewa's location, that was not as important as having a bed in the first place. Everything was clean and worked.
- Andrea (7/5): -
- Sandra (8/5): - The room was clean and everything was suplied. dAVID WAS AN EXCELLENT HOST.
- Shannon (8/5): -
- Angela (7/5): David was very welcoming, and after an initial feeling of dismay at the small room I appreciated the positive aspects of - Secure! Continental breakfast provided, and an entertainment room with wildflower books, and a very kind host. Plenty of good pressure hot water for showers. Small rooms and a rather foreboding exterior.
- Janssen (8/5): Very comfortable and well looked after. - Breakfast was all I required. In a remote area I think things were well set up.T The weather was terrible.
- O'Brien (10/5): -
- Shane (10/5): Surprisingly good. Everything you need is catered for. - Everything that I needed was catered for. Host was very friendly and helpful.
- Stafford (9/5): - Everything, especially the convenience of breakfast included. Nothing.
- Downing (10/5): Great place to stay - The facility was gated for security, large entaining area, fantastic dining room with lots of condiments to chose from, terrific staff The rooms are snallush but still comfortable and clean
- Rick (9/5): Great base for a wildflower wander through the mid-west. - Very central location for our time looking for wildflowers. Dave, the manager, couldn't have been more helpful. This included coming back from a journey after we had locked our keys in our room. Very embarrassing for us, but Dave was exceptional. The other occupants of the motel didn't seem to realise (or care) about other guests and continually slammed doors or had conversations in the early morning as they were leaving.
- Downing (10/5): The hospitality was amazing...the facilities are terrific.. - The hospitality was fantastic...couldnt want for anything...gated facility for security,. Plenty of space in the facility to unwind, great dining area.. The rooms are smallish but still comfortable..
- Janet (7/5): Comfortable, value for money. - Was expecting basic motel but nicely surprised. Bright, sizable room. Helpful staff. Great breakfast.
- Trevor (9/5): met our expectations and the stay was good - the owners were very friendly and accomodating. fantastic effort!
- Amanda (10/5): - Perfect hosts and every food option at breakfast Nothing
Alles sehr alt. Nicht für einen Urlaub geeignet.
- Diane (10/5): Jeanette was there on our arrival to welcome and gave great information about the area. - Very homely and comfortable. Close to the famous and wonderful lookout. Circular drive way a bit narrow for our car and difficult to navigate. It wasn’t necessary to drive on that though. Lots of parking space under the trees
- Jan (8/5): Comfortable stay with a self-serve continental breakfast - Great breakfast, comfortable room, interesting town Room was quite small, but adequate
- ChorTan (9/5): Enjoyable stay - Owner was friendly and helpful. Clean and secured accomodation. Good breakfast and dinner options
- Praveen (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Christine (9/5): Much better than expected in such a small town. - The property was very secure, clean and comfortable. The manager was helpful and the food was good. Mullewa is like a ghost town and there’s crime so the motel was like a fortress.
- Kay (10/5): Very pleasant stay with this Manager. Highly recommend. - A lovely welcome by the Manager. Would recommend to anyone passing through this area. Rooms and Dining rooms were spotless , the Meals were delicious. Nothing.
- Col (7/5): Mullewa - David the manager was very good, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Room was a bit small and menu prices a bit too high.
- Pene (10/5): Great service - Manager was excellent Nothing
- Steven (1/5): Great location, nasty owners...stay anywhere else if you can. - Used to think this was a nice place run by nice people When a customers in unable to go and informs you the week before, perhaps taking the entire booking fees including breakfast leaves a toxic taste in the mouth of the customer? Certainly will never be forgotten. What awful people. I would avoid this place and the booking agents too. Such a pity, used to have fond memories of staying here but never again.
- Frank (10/5): Good stay - Comfy Host very Curtious
Very good breafast
- Lee (8/5): -
- Peter (9/5): - My wife requires gluten free meals. Dave was able to provide a range of food options for our stay.
- Yolanda (9/5): Staff friendly good for overnight stay - Staff very friendly, breakfast and tea/coffee
- Leanne (9/5): -
- Tiffany Jane (8/5): An unexpected gem, highly recommend. - Beautiful rooms, high quality towels and bed linen with complimentary toiletries. Great security.
The dining hall was well stocked and the layout was very nice. The tables and chairs were comfy. Loved the pool table.
Central location.
The food was presented beautifully and tasted great. We had steak, served with a fresh salad (which was surprising considering we were far from a grocer), and a side of tasty chips. There was no vegetarian option. The breakfast was included in the room cost and was really good with continental cereals, breads, muffins and crumpets, a variety of condiments, juices and a huge array of hot drinks with any milk you wanted including plant based. There was an assortment of gluten free breads which was amazing (my son has Coeliac Disease) but unfortunately he could not toast it as there was only one toaster which was used for the other bread and would have made him sick.
The manager Dave and his wife were incredible hosts and couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful.
- Christopher (10/5): A hidden gem of a motel, you would not get better service at a 5 star location. - So friendly and welcoming from Dave the host.
- Patricia (10/5): David and his wife were fantastic and so very welcoming and helpful. They made our stay so pleasant and enjoyable - Ideally situated for the wildflowers route NA
- Steve (10/5): I would stay at this Motel any time i was in Mullewa ,i wish more accomadation was of this standard. - The breakfast was great ,we could not fault any thing about the motel. Manager and staff were very friendly and help full.
- Gail (8/5): -
- Richard (10/5): - Easy to find and very secure Having to leave!!
- Lesley (5/5): It suited our purposes for discovering wildflowers etc . - The host was very helpful respectful and welcoming Heavy doors throughout,we had a twin share room which was adequate but very confining .no hooks or enough towel rails in the bathroom .Only one tiny mirror in the bathroom …no drinking glasses.
- Lew (7/5): -
- Shaun (8/5): Great place to see the early wildflowers - The chef prepared dinner after checking if we had any allergies.
Easy to ask any questions if needed. A bit pricey but country prices were not cheap.
- MINORU (7/5): - 場所 部屋が狭い
- Robin Carter (8/5): We found Dave so very helpful, and he made our stay enjoyable. - Breakfast excellent!! Dinners were superb. The lounge area and dining room were specious and comfortable to spend time in. The room was small and a little squashed to get to the bathroom.
- bills2743 (7/5): Acceptable rural hotel. - Old hotel renovated after a much earlier fire. Room comfortable, parking easy. Dinner provided but not cheap. Breakfast ok, included in tariff. Manager exceedingly helpful. A good offering in a small far-flung town. Nil
- Susan (7/5): - Good location good breakfast Chair in room would be nice Overpriced
- Ushi (9/5): Just perfect for our needs. - Location perfect for wildflower season.
The manager was amazing, helpful and super friendly will book here again. Nothing.
- cheryl (10/5): Everything was amazing - Great bedroom, had a wonderful dinner ,steak chips and salad, absolutely delicious. Breakfast was a great arrangement and plenty to choose from.Host a lovely friendly man and does a great job
- Ricky (10/5): Chef / manager extremely helpful.show us around the facility and cooked a wicked feed for the group of 8 people for - Old pub charm
- Chun Leong (7/5): -
- Robyn (9/5): - Staff friendly and very helpful. Great breakfast and very comfortable lounge
- Max (8/5): Friendly - Pro active owner who went out of his to assist.
The operation was simple with no frills which was appreciated in a reasonably remote town. The rooms a little small for two people if staying longer than one night.
- Jennifer (7/5): Wildflower Stay in Mullewa - The continental breakfast was very good with a good range of food.
The meal served at night was of good quality and size and the dining room was spacious with nice music playing in the background.
Dave was a very good and engaging host and also cooked the evening meal.
The room had all the amenities required.
The secure parking was a bonus. The room was small to fit a queen bed, and it was hard to move around the bed to get to the bathroom.
A light outside the room window was on all night and the blinds didn't block the light which it made it difficult to sleep.
There was loud traffic noise from the road trains on the main road outside the room, so earplugs are required.
- Nina (7/5): -
- Rumen (10/5): Beyond expectations, fantastic place to rest and enjoy, being taken care of a very generous host! - The hospitality and generosity of David, the host of the place. David was really welcoming and made you feel straight away at home. He makes all the difference in the place and deffinitely felt right at home when he was around.
- Wong (8/5): -
- Angshu (9/5): - Excellent service and great dinner None.
- Jamie (7/5): - Breakfast and fruit was great, I was great to have access to tea and coffee when you wanted.
Staff so helpful and friendly. BYO wine to dinner, great food.
Would be good to have a bed side lamp.
- Tevoleus (10/5): - David was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The property is clean, comfortable and as per the listing.
The bed was very comfortable with great pillows.
Great base to explore the area. Nothing
- jo (10/5): -
- Husnija (8/5): -
- Graham (10/5): Well run motel with very friendly and helpful owners, making for a great stay. - Well run motel with very friendly and helpful owners who place importance on guests having a great stay. The owners run the motel themselves. Nothing to report.
- Graham (7/5): - Whilst the staff were extremely friendly and helpful the room was rather “compact”
- rosco50 (8/5): - Breakfast was continental with a large selection. David was friendly and very obliging. I rate him highly
- Colin (6/5): Adequate - Friendly staff and safe parking. Close to wild flowers Noisy - can hear neighbours and folk walking around at night
- Stephen (8/5): Perfect place for a short stay while on a wildflower trip. - The availability of breakfast that is included in the cost. Secure parking. Short walk to the hotel, tourist information centre and shops. Friendly and helpful staff. Hard mattress and pillows.
- Raymond (8/5): very nice - just a bit noisy
- Colin (7/5): Generally ok but would need a larger room away from the truck noise to come again - New and clean. Facilities outside the room were good Room was far too small. Passing truck noise went on all night
- GWENDA (10/5): Really enjoyed our stay and were made very welcome by the host - Dave the host was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The common areas were very welcoming and friendly The front facade does not reflect the quality of the accommodation
- Amanda (8/5): Really good service - The staff - Dave really helpful. We ate dinner at the motel and it was excellent. Liked that it was very relaxed, you could take your own drinks in. Continental style breakfast also very good. Room was comfortable. Great location to many of the walks. Nothing - all good
- Patricia (7/5): Mullewa Motel - Good rec room with pool table and TV. Great evening meals. Self serve breakfast. Rooms were a bit small but they were clean and beds were comfortable.
- Wendy (10/5): Brilliant place to stay in Mullewa! - David was the perfect host and welcomed us like we were family. Rooms had everything we needed, beds were comfortable and the cafe facilities for dinner and continental breakfast were excellent. Our dinners were cooked to perfection, on par with any restaurant in the major cities. Thanks for the wildflower tips too! We will be back. Couldn’t fault anything.
- Grizabellachinchilla (9/5): Mullewa's Best Food - The host, Dave was helpful and ensured we were well looked after. Mullewa does not have many options for an evening meal but Dave cooks for his guests and the food was delicious - very fresh local beef and fish. The property is protected by a fence with a gate operated by a 'zapper'. We would happily stay there again! Getting into the place was not easy as there were stairs at the front and no-one in attendance. The host had to be contacted by telephone which meant a trip to a phone box as we did not have mobile service in the town. However once we were in touch everything was easy and our stay was enjoyable. Now we know how it all works we will be ok in future.
- Paula (8/5): Very pleasant - Very friendly and helpful - good breakfast Very small room and some bathrooms
- Ian (10/5): A jewel.beautiful manager David goes to so much to make his guests at home - Brilliant managers
Just so good. Loved everything.
- Watts (7/5): -
- Melanie (8/5): Clean, secure and friendly staff. Thank you - It was extremely clean. Ensuite was very small.
- Yelverton (9/5): - Location is central, property security is good
Restaurant & lounge area were excellent.
Provisions for coffee tea breakfast were available at all times
David (manager/chef) very welcoming & helpful
- Laurence (9/5): A surprisingly comfortable stay, with a beaut breakfast. - We were warmly welcomed by the manager and made to feel right at home. The property was very comfortable, with a great continental breakfast included in the price. A memorable visit. Nothing. The outside view of the motel is uninspiring, but that all changes when you walk through the doors.
- Linda (7/5): All guests welcomed here at this motel along the wildflower route. - Thoughtful host David warmed our room prior to arrival leading into a cold night. Then cooked us an excellent dinner! Rooms were clean and the twin beds firm and comfortable. Safe parking on site. Rooms are small and located on the main road, so trucks rumble past in the night.
- Robert (8/5): Very convenient stay in a difficult location - Comfortable stay with great service from Dave.
Good evening meal. Extreme emphasis on security is unfortunate but understandable
- Valda (7/5): A pleasant stop over. Mullewa is a very clean and tidy town and could do with more people calling i - Dave, the Manager and ' one- man band' seemed to do just about everything from check- in to cooking and serving the meal, very efficiently. The food was OK for pub grub. Four car road trains going past at all hours. There isn't much that a motel owner could do about it except locate the motel in a quieter part of town.
- Johann (10/5): Exceptional - The beds are comfortable. The manager, Dave, is one of the friendliest people I have met. He could not do enough for us. The food was delicious. The motel was spotless and Dave made us feel so welcome. The facilities are basic, but reading materials and a free pool table are supplied for use by the guests. Breakfaself-serve-serve with no time restrictions. If you want an early start you can grab breakfast before you leave. A selection of coffee, cereals, fruit and spreads are supplied for breakfast. Also delicious muffins made fresh daily. We felt like we were visiting family. If you are going to this area of WA book in for a great experience.
- Andrew (8/5): Very good -
- Julie (9/5): Superb - Welcomed warmly by the friendly manager and shown around. Good facilities. Rec room. Steak was exceptionally well cooked. Complementary breakfast in restaurant was a bonus. Lots of security.
- Gill (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Very good - Clean and comfortable room (though small). Very good towels. Staff very friendly.
- Smart (8/5): Friendly and helpful staff, value for money stay. - Staff were accomadating and friendly N/A
- Xu (10/5): Exceptional -
- Man (10/5): Exceptional - Dave provided very good service and the hotel room is clean and tidy. Felt safe and comfortable staying there. Highly recommend it.
- Peter (8/5): Road trip stopover - Dave? was a great host, very helpful and welcoming Nothing
- Tanya (9/5): Mullewa Inspirations is brilliant for the solo woman driver - felt safe, welcomed and comfortable. - everything was fabulous - as a solo female traveller I felt safe which is a priority. Everything that I needed was available. Room and dining area was clean and tidy and whole facility very welcoming. Just two personal quirks I guess - not much you could do!
a) the AC sounded like a jet engine, until I figured out the controls!! I was too hot without it and it was too noisy with it! Once I got the 'quiet setting' happening, it was all happy days!
b) I like to have the bathroom door open, so a wedge would have been handy - I improvised last night, so no drama.
- Douglas (10/5): Exceptional -
- Johann (10/5): Wonderful find in Mullewa. - The host was fantastic. He cooked a beautiful dinner. The self serve breakfast was great. I was leaving early but could still have breakfast before I left. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Will definitely stay here again.
