Theprimebeef (7/5): Good - The location is very nice, and close to taksim square. Some rooms in the back face a wall directly which is disappointing. There is no elevator. The bed is big but it makes noises when you move. The bathroom is ok but the shower is too small for big people.

Muhammad (5/5): A very restless and disturbing stay overall - The location of the property is the only good thing about it that it is very close to the istaklal street and taksim square and good transport links. The room was not as tidy or spacious as shown in the pictures. Infact it was quite different to what was shown in the pictures. We were given room on the 3rd floor and it was not mentioned anywhere that there are no lifts in the building so any visitors are advised to keep this in mind when booking. The bed in the initial room given to us was broken and the quality of the mattress was really bad as we had a very restless night during our stay. The booking also mentioned amenities being given but when we checkedin, alot of the amenities were missing and we had to ask consistently to get the amenities that were advertised on their page. There were bot enough utensils for 2 people to even make tea. The electric cattle for heating water was broken and there was no tea, cups provided which was not appreciated at all.

Sushant (1/5): Awful - There is nothing to like about this property. You should better not book your stay at this place. Beware the owner is a cheat/fraud. The room pictures he posts on booking.com are never like them in reality. The rooms are too tiny. The bathroom had a bad odour/smell. Looked like it was not properly cleaned. He doesn’t even provide basic amenities. The area is very noisy and loud music runs till night 4am that you can’t even sleep.

Christelle (5/5): Very central and convenient - Location was central with everything you need nearby, but very busy, therefore noisy. We were there over a weekend and a lot of bars and restaurants on the street had live music until late. The bed was comfortable but we were only given a very thin blankets so nights were chilly. We were on the top floor, there is no lift, so keep it in mind when booking if you have heavy suitcases. The aircon didn't cool, which we didn't mind as it was not very hot that weekend. No toiletries, remember to bring your own shampoo etc... Most of the facilities listed are not 100% correct, but all in all, value for money and served its purpose.

Narmin (5/5): In summary, while Island Apart Hotel’s location is ideal for tourists, the issues with cleanliness a - I recently stayed at Island Apart Hotel in Istanbul and unfortunately, my experience was mixed. While the hotel’s location is a definite highlight, offering convenient access to key attractions and local amenities, the overall stay left much to be desired. Firstly, the cleaning standards were below expectations. The rooms did not appear to be thoroughly cleaned, and the housekeeping service was inconsistent, which detracted significantly from the comfort of the stay. Additionally, the facilities were lacking in quality and maintenance. The amenities did not meet the standards one would hope for, and some aspects seemed outdated or in need of repair. On a positive note, the hotel's location is its strongest feature. It provides easy access to various points of interest, making it a practical choice for exploring Istanbul.

Dariush (6/5): Attention to photos - If you have any questions before your trip, you can ask the staff; they are always responsive. If you book a double room, be aware that the photos do not match the actual size you will find on the site. Especially the bathroom, which will be very tight if you are slightly larger in size. The room is only sufficient for one person, as there is no space to place luggage and the wardrobe is very small, making it impossible to hang a coat or jacket. Safety does not seem to be an issue, but carrying luggage without an elevator is really difficult. If you like shopping, it is in a good location (the building is in one of the side streets off Istiklal Caddesi), but you will have a hard time resting after shopping because there is a night bar next to the building that plays loud music and singing late into the night.

Despite my room facing the courtyard (no view BTW) and being on the 4th floor the noise from the street was unbearable. Additionally other residents seems to be having a party in the other apartments. The bathroom was filthy. Kitchen had no utensils.
Bora (4/5): Disappointing - Clenlan room, good bed, comfortable. Great location, near Istiklal str. We booked room with balcony, and get room with window which is looking in to wall 1m away and some huge pipe. There was almost nothing in the kitchen, tv was not working, we had only one set of towels for 5 days, and in bathroom shower you coukd cut your feet on drain pipe. Also we had only one toalet paper, and half of lights were not working. On our complain that we shoud have bigger room with balcony as we booked it, somenone responded that there was an issue with sewage in other room and they had to give us this.. Room its self has no more then 12m2 with bathroom and kitchen... The one we booked had more, at least that was written on booking. Really dissapointing experiance

Room normal, changing towels when need, air conditioner. room is in 5th floor, there is no elevator, my suitcase weighs 23 kg, it was difficult. bars on the first floor, loud music all night, very hard to sleep.
