• Rudie (7/5): Rustique central and beautiful location - Place is wonderfully centrally located In Schwarzwald. The location itself is also awesome. Really kind old monastery vibe. There is a lot of space for 2 people. Don’t expect a fancy decorated place. The whole vibe and decoration is minimalistic and sparsely and not new, but that also is the charme of it for us. (No TV… plus 10 points 😉)
• Maike (7/5): Great for relaxing! - Lovely environment, comfortable, good bed Two tiny things: an extra lamp in the room wouldn’t hurt; and it would help if they would indicate beforehand what should be brought, like dishwashing soap.
• Sven (10/5): Immerse in a true fairy tale! - What a wonderful place with an incredible historical ambiance next to the ruins of an ancient abbey! Take a walk through the Black Forest to the waterfalls: surely the best thing to do on a hot summer day. Stay all day long at home (like our cat – she loved the place, too): enjoy a refreshing bath or drink a cup of tea with an appeasing garden view past abundant rhododendron bushes. Last but not least, don’t miss out to “climb up” the amazing Black Forest High Road: discover this truly mystical area from above… Maybe the lawn doesn’t need a cut on Monday morning from 7:30 till 9:00 am? A parking space for the guests nearby the house would have been helpful.

• Sjoerd (7/5): Great stay for hiking, bit dated interior. - The apartment was very spacious and the location is perfect for some hiking and peace of mind. The employees/owners were very friendly and everything I needed was available. The kitchen was poorly equipped in regard to the available utensils. The ventilation of the kitchen also did not work, which is a minor inconvenience. The bathroom was a bit smelly and shower not very big (but good amount of water and hot quickly).
