- Maria (8/5): Relaxing stay - This is a large Victorian property which retains many of its period features. The apartment is on the first floor. The comfortable lounge has a small kitchen area ( fridge freezer compartment was over frozen), and a separate dining area. The bathroom was clean and well appointed with a shower, which whilst not a power shower… it met our needs. The bedroom is on the small side but took a double bed which was against the wall so as others said it was difficult to get out of bed without climbing out at the bottom or over your partner. The bedroom is on itself was very comfortable.
Staying in the apartment gave us more freedom catering, coming and going with our two dogs, Daisy and Tess, especially as the weather was unpredictable.
We would not hesitate to stay again.

- Stewart (8/5): Great Strathmore Apartments! - Great hosts, great apartment, great TV both in the main room & the bedroom. Excellent value for money. Well placed - not right on it but fairly near to the main part of St Anne's. On the whole highly recommended Just the bed being side-on to the wall - just made it a bit awkward

Beautiful sandy beach 2 minutes walk, nice park and town centre 5 minute walk, Blackpool promenade 8 minute drive. Lots of parking outside. Shower pressure could be better.
- Linda (9/5): Superb - The location, very close to the beach. Very roomy apartment. The mattress wasn't very comfortable. There was no information pack ie wifi, microwave instructions. The bed was against the wall which made it awkward if you needed to get up in the night.

- John (10/5): All you need for a home from home break. - The location is superb for all amenities. A stones throw from either the beach or the wonderful Ashton park and gardens.
A great selection of shopping venues all within a very short walk. As far as we are concerned there are no drawbacks. It all worked for us.

It was good to have some basic supplies such as washing up liquid and hand wash etc.

- Michael (8/5): A very pleasant and secure place to stay - Great bus and train transport links nearby and close to Aldi and Sainsburys. The repayment electricity meter only needed £5 over 7 days. The central heating comes on mornings and evenings and the dining chairs are positioned near a radiator and prove very useful for drying off coats and towels. The kitchen is equipped with all the things needed. There is a high level of privacy as we very rarely saw or heard anyone else in the building. Arrangements made for arrival and departure. The shape and size of the bedroom requires the double bed to be positioned up against a wall.
- Peter (9/5): A very spacious well equipped apartment with parking which is ideal for a few nights away. - Ease of parking. Excellent communication from owner. Quiet yet central to all you need. Excellent value for money at this price point. A five minute stroll through the beautiful park took you directly into the town centre. One minor gripe is the double bed is against the bedroom wall so overnight bathroom visits meant waking up partner to clamber out of bed. This is a very minor issue for me but something you need to be aware of if you are a regular visitor to the loo!

- Paul (7/5): was ok and location was good - location good the apartment is cold during the day cause the heating is set at different times comes on in the morning goes off at 10am and comes back on at 4pm then goes off at 10pm and to use other electric items within the apartment like tv etc you have to pay use the pay metre which is installed in the room which i did not expect that i thought it be free with your wifi usage . part from that still nice apartment and it cheap

When I booked on the booking.com site I specified the stay was for us and pets, so assumed that this information would be relayed to the host, but seems it was not. On check in the host implied we should have got permission and suggested we might have been turned away! This was quite unsettling and I didn’t really appreciate the implication that we had been cheeky/rude when it was part of the booking process and an honest mistake.

- Yummy (10/5): Brilliant - The property was on a quiet road so plenty of sleep. Parking was no problem and got outside the property. Everything was within 10 minutes walking distance. We Arrived early and Nigel and his wife were able to allow us early check in which was great. Would definitely recommend to stay there again. I have no bad comments to stay, everything was as expected on the advertisement and more.

Very comfortable lounge, nice kitchen area with all you'd need, good size TV and also cd player, additional TV in bedroom, excellent free parking on quiet road directly outside. Bed was very comfy but one side against the wall so difficult to exit (if required) without disturbing partner. No blind/curtain on bathroom window.
