• David (10/5): We had a great stay & would recommend this apartment. It is big, comfortable & in a great location. - The architecture and the local ambience is amazing. So much food choice and the cannoli's are so delicious! Cefalú is a short train journey and well worth a visit. The taxi's are very expensive and would definitely recommend any travel is done by train.

• Jorge (7/5): Simple, Practical, and Well-Located - We had a pleasant and comfortable stay overall. The apartment is simple and practical, and it met our needs well during our time there. The location was also convenient for us, as it’s about a 15-minute walk to both the train / bus stations, which made getting around quite easy. One of the highlights of our stay was the host, who was very attentive and accommodating. On our first night, we found the apartment a bit cold due to a lack of extra blankets, but once we reached out, the host responded promptly and kindly provided everything we needed. The apartment itself is a no-frills space that offers decent value and does exactly what it promises. While it may not have standout features, it is a reliable and comfortable option. We would recommend it to others looking for a straightforward, convenient place to stay, and we would consider staying here again.

• Yara (9/5): - Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral und sehr gut erreichbar. Federico war sehr sehr freundlich lebensfroh, hilfsbereit und hat uns guten Tipps gegeben wo man in Palermo essen kann. Meine Tochter und ich werden mit Sicherheit wieder kommen. Abends, auf Grund feiern fröhliche Menschen, kann es laut werden.

Omistaja oli todella joustava ja ystävällinen. Todella hyvä sänky oli nukkua. Ota korvatulpat mukaan, jos haluat nukkua.. Asunto on sijainniltaan keskellä kaikkea elämää myös yöaikaan. 😀

• Marco (8/5): Gastvrij verblijf op top locatie - Erg gastvrije en vriendelijke host!! Zeer gunstige locatie tov de belangrijkste bezienswaardigheden, de verkeersluw gemaakte straat met vele restaurants en cafe’s, slechts 15 minuten lopen van het centraal station en 6 minuten van een halte van de bus naar het vliegveld waar je online kaartjes voor kan kopen. Zeer ruim appartement en het bed lag goed. Aan de achterkant, de kant van de slaapkamers een erg gezellige straat met terrassen en cafe’s maar het nadeel is wel dat je dit tot diep in de nacht hoort. En de twee appartementen verdienen beiden wat kleine reparaties mbt o.a. het sanitair.

• Gokhan (10/5): Amazing place and great host - On warm Italian nights, there is no better place to be than on this balcony, an Aperol in hand, as the air carries with it the delicious aromas of Italian kitchens drifting through the streets below. Federico is a wonderful host, attentive, kind and always ready to help with any question. The location could not be more perfect, right in the very heart of the city, yet the balcony feels like your own private escape. The bathroom may be on the smaller side, but such a detail hardly matters when everything else is so delightful. Posso dizer que este apartamento supriu todas as minhas necessidades e superou minhas expectativas, com certeza recomendo. Levamos um cachorro e deu tudo certo também. Como é bem no centro histórico de Palermo você pode escutar alguns barulhos das pessoas na rua, mas em geral da pra dormir bem.

Ook heeft hij ons op de Whatsapp voorzien van aanbevolen restaurants en winkels, heel attent. De locatie is echt prima, alles op loop afstand, met name in de avond fijn dat er zoveel te doen is in de directe omgeving. De keuken uitrusting mag iets uitgebreider, is prima maar als je iets meer wil doen op kookgebied kom je wel wat pannen tekort.

The beds are really comfy and each room have air con which was really appreciated! The location of the appartment is perfect as you can do everything by walk and only 15mins walk to the main train station when you want to visit other villages around Palerme. • Artur (4/5): Its good when you dont complain for a reason - Very good AC (really good) and very good location. It was confusing from the start. The Wifi didnt work and we were told that on arrival, not before so we could have cancelled our reservation. The host fixed a new connection after our complaint on days 2-5 on a very low speed. Once the new connection turned off for good we got no reply. The host blamed it all on the company providing the service but thats not our problem. Therefore also the TV didnt work all week. It was a smart TV so we were sad for that. The coffee machine didnt work either. The host replaced it the day after though. The instructions that we want to have our beds made in two different rooms were not followed. Also the 2nd bedroom that we asked the picture of that we never received (for a reason) is located in a dark corrdior without a door to kitchen. Felt immediately deceived. On top of that there was somebodys hair on the pillows and therefore we got extra pillows the day after. Also the water was not going down from shower and when we opened it and cleaned it we saw there long dark hair that clearly dont belong us. The shower cabin overall is too small and there is no handle to put up the showerhead. Also getting in from the the main entrance and the appartment with the keys is challenging. It takes a while to understand how to open the doors. The apartment overall is nice looking. For me most offensive was that after telling the host I was attacked and robbed in Palermo he had the nerve to say he offered me legal help that he never did and that I should be lucky because the rude me is visiting the most beautiful town of Southern Italy. The location is extremely loud. You can’t sleep in the main bedroom 6 days a week until 5am. No soundproofing. Its a lot more…
• Lilla (9/5): Good location and unique experience - Staying in Palermo was a unique experience. The location of the apartment fits perfectly with the city's atmosphere. The room faced a lively street with restaurants and all-night parties, so it was very noisy, but we didn't mind. The communication went well and they let us stayed a bit longer after check-out. We received very good restaurant recommendations from Andrea. One part of the apartment was renovated, but the other part (kitchen and bathroom) was clearly not. Even painting the walls would help a lot. The bathroom is very small and the toilet was not clean when we arrived. Getting the keys didn't go smoothly, but it was solved. There are a lot of steps to get to the apartment if someone wants to stay here, this is good to know. Opening the main door of the building was tricky and took a lot of time every time.

• Kristýna (10/5): Exceptional - Federico was really very nice. The apartment is beautiful and freshly renovated. It has been very clean, there is a coffee machine in the kitchen. The location is excellent, but it is suitable rather for those who enjoy night life - on the day of our arrival there has been a concert just under our windows. Luckily we went to sleep late, so it has not been a problem, but for someone looking for a calm accomodation it might be a problem.
• James (10/5): Lovely space and location, bring earplugs! - Perfect location just off one of the main streets in Palermo. Easily walkable. Nice balcony off of the main bedroom. Spacious bathroom. Host was very kind and easily available. The bar underneath the primary bedroom hosted a live band until 4am one evening.
• Tomas (9/5): Superb - Nice newly renovated, spacious and clean apartment in a very city center. Tourist attractions, cafes, restaurants in a walking distance. Close to station and supermarket. Nice and big bathroom and shower. Nice view from the balcony. Host was very helpful and responsive. The building looks run down from outside but apartment is nice from the inside. There was a noisy music playing until late hours from the restaurant but it's a city center and you can sleep in another bedroom with no direct windows to the street. There is a coffee machine but no coffee capsules.

• Małgorzata (9/5): Very good place to stay in Palermo - The flat is very large, spacious and well equipped. It has everything you need in it. The flat is in a very good location. Everywhere is close by. To the train and bus station about 15-20 minutes on foot. To a larger shop (Lidl) about 10 min. Super contact with the owner. He is very nice and helpful. Collection and return of keys without any problems. There are a lot of restaurants in the area and therefore it is noisy from the side of the bedroom, but it didn't bother us, because they played nice music, enough earplugs and the problem solved :)

• Ann (10/5): Exceptional - The location of the apartment is perfect! Ideal situation to explore the historic centre of Palermo, right in the vibrant heart of the city with lots of restaurants and cozy terraces. All main attractions, famous markets, central railway station,... are on 10 min. walk. The balcony gives a view on some cozy and lively terraces below. We stayed in the 'Superior Apartment' which was very clean, spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated. Above all the host Federico is super nice, he helped us with our luggage,  recommended good restaurants in the area. Even during our day trip to Cefalú he advised us a wonderful restaurant. Grazie di tutto Federico ! We would definitely come back again and recommend this accommodation to couples and families. Only bare in mind you are living in the vibrant part of the city where people enjoy nightlife and there is music. But by closing the windows and sleeping in the second room you don't hear anything of it. It's the charm of the city! Nothing !
• Ibolya (10/5): Exceptional - Centrally located, new, clean, spacious apartment. It is located on the 2nd floor and can be reached by many stairs. A large room with windows opening onto the street, with a double bed plus a single bed. One bedroom with a double bed. With a sofa in the living room, 7 people can comfortably fit in the apartment. The room on the street is very noisy, although there are sound-insulated windows and slats, it is impossible to sleep from the music blaring until 3 in the morning.
• Diane (9/5): very comfortable and clean - location was excellent for restaurants and parties and historic sites. the host was fabulous. the accommodation was very clean and spacious. The main bedroom should be moved to the living area and vice versa. very loud music and noise from restaurants below. this place would suit people who love to go out partying all night.
• Megija (10/5): Perfect! - This was an fantastic stay! Great location, very responsive owner, everything you need in the apartment. The apartment is spacious with two separate bedrooms and a balcony, a kitchen, a large bathroom and an additional living room. We needed an iron, I asked the owner about it and he brought the iron immediately. It was very kind! The balcony is on a street where there was music almost every night until about 3am, but that was not a problem as Palermo is a lively city and that is where the charm lies. Host welcomed us at the apartment and told us all about it. In addition, Frederico told us where to go, where to eat and sent us a whole list of recommendations. An added benefit was that we had to leave at 6:00, but checking out of the apartment was no problem. We will come back for sure!

Federico (the host) is down to earth. Empathetic, pleasant. Always willing to go the extra mile. i.e. he bought iron along with the ironing board straight after I asked if there was one in the apartment. He also allowed us to check in earlier whilst making sure the apartment was ready asap so we didn’t have hanging around the city with our suitcases after a long journey. Would definitely recommend, and when I’m back to Palermo that’s the apartment I’m hoping to stay in again! Thanks for all Federico! Everything was perfect.

• Ewald (10/5): Perfect location for exploring the cities sights - Perfect location in the vibrant heart of the city. Although the entry was on the backside in a dark alley, once inside a clean and modern spacy apartment astonished us. The balcony gave us top view over the lively terraces below.
• Mikko (9/5): Highly recommended. - Huge, modern apartment at the heart of La Kalsa/Vucciria. Well equipped kitchen. Great supermarket for self-caterers near by. Very nice and informative host. Grazie Federico! Bedroom balcony opens to a small alley, which is full of restaurants, very lively and stays open until the wee hours, at least during summer weekends. Problem was solved though, since the apartment has plenty of beds and sofa beds to choose from.
• Samia (10/5): Great holidays - We spent beautiful week in Marechiaro apartment. All the premises are reconstructed and very clean. Apartment has great location and is large. Host is very nice and helpful. I recommend this accommodation to couples and also families. We would definitely come back again. Not a negative, but you have to take into account the location in the city center, which brings noise and music at night (from nearby bars). For some people it could be disturbing.
• Gavin (10/5): Exceptional - Even though there was uncertainty on our arrival time. Our host Federico, met us at the door with keys within 10 minutes of us contacting him. He made sure we were in, settled and comfortable, and gave us local recommendations of places to dine out. Apartment is very modern and comfortable, and Air-con in the bedroom and living area, was very appreciated. Especially after a hot and tiring day out and about. Property is excellently placed for many local restaurants, bars and "tourist" attractions. And the neighbours we met were friendly and helpful. Only being able to stay for 5 nights. Would have liked to have stayed there for longer.
