• Daniel (10/5): Exceptional - Great property, great host, great location, great experience! The house is great. We were 3 adults and a 2 year old child. We had plenty of space and the house had everything we needed for a 1 week stay - I can't think of anything that was missing. The property was recently refurbished so it looks and feels fresh, from the bedrooms, to the kitchen, to the bathroom. And of course very clean - spotless. Having looked at similar properties in the area in the same price bracket I believe this one is head and shoulders above the rest. The value for money was absolutely unbeatable. The host is great. Communication was very smooth, via booking com messages and then WhatsApp. Host went above and beyond for everything: middle of the night check-in, information about local amenities, availability at all hours of the day and night - all without being intrusive. The usual welcome basket with cofee and water was there of course, but we also found a bottle of wine, a big bag of friselle and a jar of caponatta-like preserve - all local, high quality products. The location is great. You go out the front door and it takes you about 3 minutes to dip your toes in the sea. Probably less than 200 meters. The beach is beautiful. Fine sand, clear turquoise water, a gentle slope, water stays waist-high for quite a bit - perfect for kids. Beach has organised sections, where you rent your sun-lounge and umbrella, but also free sections where you make your own arrangements. Worth noting that the beach has a blue flag (bandiera blu) which guarantees certain standards of water quality. Several other tourists confirmed that the beach can easily rival some of the more popular/instagramable beaches on that stretch of the coast. Within walking distance you can find: a good restaurant, a good bakery, several cafes, couple of small shops for essentials. If you drive, the village centre is 5 minutes away, with more shops, bars, restaurants. Honestly, could not find a fault.
