Guest Reviews
- Jackson (10/5): Exceptional - It was absolutely amazing. No improvements, bath was awesome, house was the coolest.
- Park (4/5): Avoid during the winter time. It's a beautiful freezer. - The hotel assistant was very kind and helpful. Love the guy. He was kind enough to drive us to the location when we arrived late due to delays with the shinkansen. The house was beautiful, bath tub was gorgeous with great water pressure. Loved it so much we took bath every night we stayed there. I personally wish I stayed during the summer or early fall. FREEZING. It wasn't cold but freezing. It was cold as a freezer. When we arrived, the place wasn't prepped for our stay(temperature-wise). I thought, 'OMFG, it's freezing here; how are we going to sleep.' It took some time to warm up, and even then, it was cold. It was actually warmer outside as the house was retaining the cold air. We had to leave the heater on as we went out for the day to return to a warm bed. I personally can't stand cold, so I was freezing even with the heater on full power, but my fiance was fine. But the heater was only able to warm up the tatami room, not the whole house, Which was kind of a pain in the ass, and I was freezing to walk around the house, bathroom and all. They forgot to insulate the home when they built it for sure^^;;. Though it is a beautiful place. I'm sure it's stunning during the summertime. I would even want to try to stay here again for the summer, but never again for the wintertime.
