- Heavisides (8/5): Central Southsea value for money stay - Access to the property was easy and thr communication from the owner before arrival was good. A spacious clean room made a good impression on arrival. The bathroom & kitchen were also clean.
A great location for going out for walks and visiting restaurants. There are limited parking spaces in the area and charges if you find one. Arrangements definitely need to me made at least 24 hours prior to stay.
- Craig (5/5): - The bed was very comfy and the location was very good TV was small, about 24 inch and low quality and Netflix didnt work, the Internet was slow as was the TV, the showers water pressure was awful and the bathroom looked so unclean and the roof was peeling, the room had holes in the walls and marks

- Kieran (4/5): Very expensive for what was on offer - Location Cost of the property
- Oakley (8/5): Very good -
- Alexandra (1/5): Unsafe, unclean. Do not stay here. - At first the host seemed very helpful and communicative but as soon as I mentioned any issues, they became very dismissive and have no interest in giving me a refund for not staying at this property. I had to leave my first night as the apartment was not as advertised. There were stains all over be floor of the room and on the curtains, ripped furniture, the entire apartment smelled awful and I had a hostile interaction with another guest. The kitchen was tiny and the bathroom was dirty and had hair all over it when I arrived. The front apartment door also doesn’t lock. I also had to pay £5 a day for a parking permit and there is no parking anywhere near the apartment.
I also didn’t feel safe as a single female traveller.
Booking.com refused to give me a refund as the property says to them nothing was wrong with the property. Paid nearly £300 and didn’t even stay. I am absolutely furious.
- Lee (9/5): Excellent budget property - Great location. Room size very good. Comfy bed. Has all the kitchen equipment you need. £5 visitors parking permit. Contact person is excellent! £5 parking permit good but have to drive around or go a few streets further away to find a spot but always found space!

- Dlvna (3/5): It's cheap but still not worth the money, because of... - The apartment had a good location. It Was very close to the beach and close to good restaurants. We booked as a group of four friends. Upon arrival we were informed that due to other guest staying there, we are going to be separated in two buildings, that are located at the same road.
Our apartment was the one shown on the following pictures. It wasn't even really an apartment and more like a in between room.
It was a nightmare because of:
-it smelled like cold smoke and wet dog
-on the carpet and under the bed was dirt, a single grape and other nasty stuff
-the bedsheets had some weird spots on it
-The door was really hard to close and open, looked like a construction door
-One can look from the nearby kitchen in our room, hence we put a towel in front of the window.
-There is ABSOLUTELY NO way that the bed supports the weight of two grown adults. It was broken. Look at the pictures. The parts were completely loose. We had to put the mattress on the floor.
Furthermore parking in that area is a nightmare. It's easier when you stay at the beach near the one hotel. But be aware that you need a KC parking permit for many roads there.
I would suggest you to spend couple bucks more and treat yourself with a real apartment or hotel room.
The other pictures from the owner show the other apartment were my friends were staying, but when you book you never know which room you are getting.

- Sharon (1/5): Disgusting unavalue for money - Do not booked this place its absolutely dreadful, male in charge was very unpleasant when telephoned for further instructions on entry, room advertised on booking.com was nothing like given its a health a safety hazzard, no hot water available from Bath hot tap or sink hot tap, kitchen not clean, freezer desperately needs defrosting, whole experience was awful would never recommend this place Cleanliness was disgraceful as soon as you walk into the hallway you notice the dirt, stairs were dirty, carpet was stained throughout, health and safety was non existent no kitchen door no fire safety bedroom door opposite kitchen, hallway hight not working, electric heater in bedroom sparked from main socket, bed mattress covered in recent red blood stains and something else not recognisable.
Nothing like picture on booking.com website, electric fire available sparked when switched on or off from wall socket, nothing electrical in kitchen or bedroo. was PAT tested, no kitchen door between hallway and bedroom defiantly a fire hazzard, and still no refund for all this 😡

The room was clean
Nice TV
Nice bed
Shared kitchen with washing machine/ fridge/ freezer
Lovely host Natasha - good communication The worst quality toilet paper going
No soap/ shampoo/ conditioner
No fan in the hot room
No coffee
Only 2 towels for 3 day stay (to be fair, you can wash and dry your own towels if needed)
- Irma (7/5): Nice room close to the beach - Good location, nice bed and everything in the room. Too much noise outside, bathroom constantly engaged.
- Clayton (6/5): Pleasant -
- Minmin (6/5): Pleasant -
- Terry (8/5): Very good - Was very quiet No parking but if u ask the bug hotel down the Rd they will happily let u park there
- Kolade (9/5): Superb - Location and facilities Few things to be modified,
I like to have white towels, I was provided with coloured, brown towels .
The carpet in the room needs to be washed . Stains all over.
Flushing needs more than one time yo get rid of the feaces.
Rather than that, all good.
- Christopher (10/5): Awesome 👌 - Ideal location, short travel to the centre of Portsmouth, and very close to Southsea, ferry terminals. Clean, and comfortable bed. Plenty of local eating options and conveniences nearby. Communication with staff very easy also. Shower head could do with updating and repositioning
- Attila (8/5): Very good -

- Merve (1/5): Bad - It was in a central and nice place in Southsea. There was a TV in the room with internet access. The kitchen was well equipped. However, I'd never waste my money there again. First of all, it was completely different than we expected. We booked the room for 19 nights and paid a good amount of money. However, this small room wasn't worth the price at all. The room was so small that we could not even place our luggage there properly. The second point is that hygiene isn't a familiar concept in this place. Our bed sheets were full of stains (some of them even looked like blood). The carpets were extremely dirty as well. We felt so uncomfortable sleeping in that bed and during the night we were woken up by the toilet flush since it was so loud. Furthermore, the flush could be just used every 10 minutes (we had to wait to flush again). After using the flush, we could hear the noise for almost half an hour. Another problem was the door lock which looked very old and was not secure, to be honest. Once we left the keys in the room and the door got locked. So we had to call the property owner and get a spare key.
I would also like to talk about the issues we had with the owners. In the beginning, they seemed to be very nice and kind. However, we had to check out earlier than expected and one week before checking in we told the owner about that. We did not expect any refund from them, but they told us if we checked out earlier (we left 12 nights earlier) and if they found new renters, we could get a small refund. After checking out, we contacted them several times and even tried to change our check-out date on booking.com, so they could find new renters. However, they did not confirm the new check-out date, when booking.com asked them. They had found new renters for our reservation period, but they told us nobody was staying in our room, just because they didn't want to give us any refund. They profited twice and lied to us. In the end, they end up offering us a ridiculous amount of money, so we wouldn't bother them anymore.

- Laura (7/5): place is lovely but way too expensive for the price we paid but it was the only solution left in Portsmouth during the V - lovely room well kept tidy and bright price
