Just a shame it didnt do dinner as the cooked breakfast was delicious!!! But that’s not a fault or a dislike, more just my opinion.

- Stephen (9/5): Great value stay! - Great location near centre of town with fantastic views from the bedroom. Welcoming hosts and great breakfast to set you up for the day. Room was warm, clean if a little compact Parking can be a little tricky although it has room for 3/4 cars
- Michael (8/5): Brilliant people Brilliant place - Lovely place. Excellent location. Free private parking a real boon the Friendly staff helped with our bags explained how the shower worked allowed us to leave our car there after we'd booked out of the room as we were not leaving the area straight away The bed was hard and the pillows too thin. Which is a shame as everything else was perfect but a comfortable bed is most important

- Julie (10/5): - Friendly staff lovely breakfast great location Nothing
- Adele (9/5): Overall very nice stay, lovely hosts, excellent location, comfortable beds and super clean. Tasty breakfast. - Excellent location, clean, wonderful hosts. En-suite was very small, also shower could do with a door as opposed to curtain as it leads to a very wet slippery floor.

- Robert (10/5): Great views . Great location. Great room . - Helen (10/5): Great stay. - Lovely comfy room.Excellent hosts and delicious breakfast. The private parking was a bonus. Nothing to dislike.
- Colin (10/5): - Breakfast was a savior 🍻
- Jane (8/5): The most comfortable bed I've slept in that wasn't my own. Location brilliant and off road parking - Breakfast was very good. Choice of cereals, orange juice, tea/coffee. Very generous cooked breakfast, vegetarian provided for. I might have liked porridge (but I didn't ask for it) which wasn't on breakfast menu. However I believe that the host would have provided this had I requested it , maybe beforehand. The only thing that could have been better was a slightly larger ensuite. But it wasn't a problem and the bedroom itself was very spacious.
- sharon (10/5): Friendly, helpful landlord. Lovely well equipped single room. Excellent value for money -
- Stephen (9/5): -
- Nicolas (9/5): - Nice B&B. Had everything I needed. Parking was easy on the street. The room had everything I needed. Only a 5m walk into the town centre. Really good price. Breakfast was very nice. Mark was really helpful. Made me toast and coffee Saturday morning when I was to early for the cooked breakfast when I had to leave for my hike.
- Ronald (10/5): - Excellent hosts. Great breakfast. Nothing in particular.

Location was fab and close to town. Room was everything I needed and was a treat to watch iplayer in the evening. Breakfast was lovely and filled me up for the day. It was pretty basic, but that wasn’t really an issue. I did find it a bit weird at first that there was no other door to the shower, but it was fine.
- Derick (10/5): -
- Russell (9/5): Great value guesthouse near centre of Keswick - Mark was a great host and his Full English Breakfast was excellent. My single room was a little on the small side but for the price that I was paying it was excellent value. Breakfast time was fixed at 8.15am. The option of an earlier time would have been useful.
- Graeme (9/5): Loved the place, friendly people, nice location - Great breakfast
- Rona (8/5): Much needed time out and hosts made it relaxing - Mark and Mindy make the place-friendly, warm and talk to all the guests about where going, recommendations, etc. Even bought my elderly mum some mustard for her sausages on the 2nd morning! Over and beyond
Location excellent to wander into Keswick and just a lovely treat weekend in the middle of wet, cold February Not much- mattresses a bit soft and bouncy but that is personal taste. Possibly shampoo but understand cuts in current climate. Nope overall really good
- Mark (9/5): A great choice for a short stay in Keswick. - Centrally located. Quiet street. Lovely breakfast.
- Ryan (10/5): -

- Sharon (10/5): Excellent - Breakfast was fantastic. Owners very friendly and helpful, Room very comfortable. easy walking distance to town.
defiantly recommend and if visiting area again would book again Nothing
- Elspeth (9/5): Excellent. Would certainly return. - Very friendly and comfortable, with an excellent breakfast. Within a few minutes walk of town centre. Bathroom could benefit from some refurb.
- Mark (10/5): -
- Jennifer (7/5): Good location, friendly staff -
- Mike (7/5): Throughly enjoyable. - Breakfast was excellent. Good variety for vegetarians. A proper English breakfast. Option of decaff tea was also a good point. Owners chatty and friendly without being intrusive. Small Car park was available to us, so bonus. Very close to town centre. Price was reasonable too. We have stayed before. We stayed in a different room where the bathroom/toilet had a proper door. This time we stayed in a room where the door was a slide door which had gaps. This made it very awkward when off to the toilet as you could hear every sound. So turning the tv up was needed. So it's a good job we have been married for many years, but this was the only major dislike but a bit of a big one.
- LEE (9/5): -
- Elaine (8/5): - Great location. The room was nice and clean. Good choice of breakfast. Free parking. Friendly staff. A few minutes walk into town centre. Would definitely recommend
- chris (10/5): Cosy hotel , friendly owner , great location short stroll into Keswick town centre . Excellent breakfast -

- Carol (10/5): Had an excellent stay will be going again if Available - Location was excellent ten mins walk to town .
Was able to park my Car .
My breakfast was excellent food was just what I ordered nice and hot fresh tea and toast .
Service excellent 👌 Well I have just had knee operation so stairs a bit of an issue but managed them .
Plus exercise was good for me
- GRAHAM (10/5): It was a perfect stay and I will definitely be staying again - The breakfast was superb, perfectly cooked. The owners are very experianced and the attention to detail is second to none. nothing
- Debbie (10/5): -
- Janet (10/5): - Very friendly and welcoming.
- Fletcher (8/5): - Warm , comfortable and a comfy night's sleep The TV was dodgy ,sometimes it would work sometimes it wouldn't and sometimes I came on for a couple of minutes then went off
- Guest (8/5): Very welcoming owner, great breakfast. And handy location for Keswick - Mark the owner. Very friendly, Nice coffee and tea, in the room. Fabulous breakfast and a car park. Room was small, very small bathroom, only one plug socket. Window hard to open.
- Heidi (10/5): - Welcoming, friendly hosts. Generous, tasty breakfast. Clean and comfortable. 5 minute walk to Keswick High Street. If you have mobility issues email the hosts to see if you can stay in a ground floor room. 3 floors up in a lovely quaint attic room which was lovely but didnt help my spinal issue. Not the hosts fault, mine for not checking first
- lisa (10/5): -
- Carolyn (10/5): -
- Pat (9/5): - Room was cosy and comfortable. Owner very friendly. Great location
- Sarah (10/5): Friend went in my place and they were very accommodating, he thoroughly enjoyed his stay - Ideal central location with free parking
- Thomas (8/5): - Good breakfast and location close to town centre The weather 🤪
- Huw (8/5): Good value for money, in an excellent location from which to explore the area. Recommended. - Easy to get to the property, and parking (late October) was not a problem. The property has some off-street parking which I used for a couple of the nights. Heating was good, and the property overall nice and quiet. I also couldn't hear my neighbours which was brilliant if I wanted to turn the light out early. Wifi signal was excellent, and internet speeds good too. The hosts Mark and Mandy were lovely, and no question was any trouble. One double socket was a challenge for me to charge everything up. I was on a photography/video trip so always came back needing to get items recharged. Shower was actually in the room - a tray with a curtain as opposed to a separate ensuite area. It worked but was kind of odd. Breakfast times were fixed at 08:15 to 09:00. I'd have preferred a bit more flexibility, i.e. an earlier option to make the most of the day.
- Wendy (10/5): Very comfortable and relaxing - Very welcoming hosts, comfortable and clean room with tasty cooked breakfast Can't think of anything
- ALLAN (9/5): good friendly place to stay - was quite good
- Mary (8/5): - Great location... Private car parking Curtains quite thin... Light coming in from outside
- David (9/5): -
- Frank (8/5): We enjoyed our stay at Silverdale guesthouse. Mark served up a delicious breakfast each morning, and always with a smil - Proximity to the town centre.
The breakfast. Although the duvet, pillows and sheets were good quality , the mattress itself was a little uncomfortable
- Joanna (10/5): - Excellent location for walks and town centre. Lovely breakfast. Mark was a brilliant host.
- Trevor (8/5): Comfortable and welcoming - Very nice cooked breakfast, very good quality bacon and sausages. Tea, coffee etc provided in room and generously topped up.
As a single traveller it was refreshing to have a decent sized room with a double bed and en suite facilities at a single room price - good value.
Location was good, quiet neighbourhood and just a 5-10 walk to town and bus station.
Hosts were very helpful and obliging. I hadn't stipulated any dietary requirements and generally eat meat but it was slightly disappointing that the vegetarian option for a cooked breakfast was simply the normal meal served without the meat.
