• Nana (6/5): - Es gab kein WLAN in die Wohnung. Sauberkeit 3 von 10; die Toilette muste ich selbst sauber machen, sonst war unmöglich es zu benutzen. KEINE Antwort auf E-mail. Nicht genüge Handtücher für 4 Person, unbequeme Betten. 😴🫣😡
• Jana Mišalková (10/5): - Prostor i lokalita jsou báječné. Krásné prostředí. Nečekaně klidná lokalita. Apartmán je opravdu nádherný. Určitě se vrátíme. Možná by to chtělo po každém ubytování vytřít podlahu.
• Ewa (2/5): Very rude host asking you to pay for a towel - The location is very convenient, the neighbourhood nice and the apartment quite spacious. The apartment is not prepared at all for hosting people. There is a massive lack of communication from the part of the porpery owner, who did not let us know how we would get to the apartment until 10 minutes before the arrival. When we arrived we found that there was a leak of water from the dishwasher which was still on when we arrived. We also saw that there were only two small bathroom towels. I reported the water leakage to the owner and asked for more towels, to which he replied that he can bring them FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE of 5 EUR each! Moreover he said that someone would come to check the water leakage and that did not happen, so basically for three days the entire kitchen floor was flooded. The kitchen is basically empty, there were only one coffee capsules per person which I find outrageous for this price. And now - the host is very rude, impolite, and used offensive language. It did not ruin our stay, but I find it unacceptable.

• Lisa (5/5): Good location but apartment not well tended or set up. - The location was excellent- close to Buda Castle District and the Chain Bridge. Transport links to everywhere else are good. The bath and shower were amazing- lovely to be able to relax in a warm bath after a day of sightseeing. The view from the balcony was nice and the apartment was nice and warm during cold weather. Hairdryer provided which was nice. The apartment is very badly stocked; the kitchen did not have an electric kettle or a microwave. There was no brush for sweeping the floor (or vacuum cleaner). I did email the owner to ask for one but I got no reply. This meant that any crumbs that fell to the floor were walked on during my stay (This really annoyed me). Although the booking did say that towels were included, I only got one (not very big) one for the shower. I did email to ask for another one but, again, got no reply. There were also a few cosmetic issues: one of the sockets was pulled out of the wall (a previous visitor had noted this so it obviously had not been fixed) and one curtain rail in the bedroom had partially come away from the wall. All in all, this apartment needs a little updating and a bit more care could be put into stocking it for visitor’s use.

• Francesco (1/5): SCAPPATE VIA - NULLA Ho prenotato per 4 persone, ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un solo letto. La bambina ha quindi dovuto dormire con i genitori. Io ho inizialmente provato a dormire su un mini divano letto, ma sotto il materasso era presente una trave di legno centrale, rendendo impossibile il riposo. Sono stato costretto a dormire sul divano. La pulizia era inesistente: calzini sporchi lasciati in casa, polvere ovunque, sedie macchiate da liquidi, forno con resti di cibo dei precedenti ospiti e, cosa gravissima, un’asciugamano macchiata di marrone. La sicurezza è pari a zero: il balcone non si chiude a chiave e rimane letteralmente aperto. Facendo presente il problema all’host, ho ricevuto una risposta ironica e inadeguata: “non si chiude =)”. La porta d’ingresso deve essere obbligatoriamente chiusa a chiave, altrimenti rimane completamente aperta. Questo significa che, se una persona usciva da sola, non poteva portare con sé la chiave, lasciando l’alloggio incustodito. Molte prese di corrente non funzionano. Negli ultimi tre giorni il proprietario ha staccato i termosifoni La TV non funziona. È presente un condizionatore, ma senza telecomando. In cucina non ci sono tende alle finestre. È stata fornita una sola asciugamano a persona per 7 giorni, senza alcuna possibilità di lavarla o cambiarla. Sconsiglio vivamente di prenotare questa struttura. Chi ha già una prenotazione farebbe bene ad annullare e richiedere il rimborso. A mio avviso questa struttura non dovrebbe essere affittata. Provvederò a segnalare quanto accaduto a Booking, richiedendo interventi seri.
• Luxia (5/5): 不好，不推荐 - 位置优势，步行到达渔人堡就几分钟 1、房东不回邮件，也不回复booking上的任何留言。除了入住，不提供任何服务。可以说零服务。 2、直到入住当天下午，才在booking上留了个开门信息，没有邮件，非常容易被忽略掉。导致我们那天费了很大的劲才打开门。 3、房间没烧水壶，没咖啡没茶包，厨具非常简陋。阳台门锁死打不开。 4、房间WIFI基本不能用，信号有但根本上不了网

• Tatiana (7/5): - Apartmán mal krásny výhľad, skvelú polohu a bol priestranný. Kuchyňa bola super vybavená kanvicou a umývačku riadu. Celkový dojem pomer cena výkon primeraný. V apartmáne bolo počas nášho pobytu koncom októbra zima a špinavo. Pre 4 dospelé osoby nie je tento apartmán veľmi vhodný, mali sme k dispozícii 1 manželskú posteľ, prístelku a gauč, ktorý sa nedal rozložiť.
• Irena (5/5): - Lokalizacja, wystrój. W mieszkaniu było kilka wad, które w dniu przyjazdu zgłosiłam SMS na podany numer do kontaktu, niestety nie otrzymałam odpowiedzi. Lodówka cuchniała tak, że nie dało się z niej korzystać, a jedzenie musieliśmy trzymać na balkonie. Nie było żadnego czajnika, więc gotowaliśmy wodę w garnku. W dniu przyjazdu dostaliśmy 1,5 rolki papieru toaletowego, którego nie miałam już gdzie nawet dokupić, bo był to sylwester i sklepy zamykali wcześniej. W kuchni nie było nawet 4 kubków, żeby zrobić picie każdemu zakwaterowanemu. W dniu przyjazdu dowiedziałam się, że za wcześniejszy check in muszę dopłacić, mimo iż wcześniej pytałam o tę opcję i wtedy nie było problemu z wcześniejszym przyjazdem, ani informacji o dopłacie. Pęknięty szklany stół, wyrwana półka, brak części kanapy, pęknięta szyba drzwi balkonowych.

• Sergei (8/5): В целом квартира понравилась, очень удобно, уютно и красиво - Расположение и ремонт понравились, удобство спального места тоже, наличие ночных штор, в квартире достаточно тихо. Также порадовала горячая вода и ванна. Не понравилось отсутствие некоторых элементранрых предметов, таких как чайник, ложка для обуви, сушилка для одежды, стиральная машина. Очень мало посуды на такой большой кухне, все ящики почти пустые. На кастрюлях и сковородах нет ни одной крышки, готовить невозможно. Также нет возможности регулировать отопление, иногда было прохладно.

• Yauhen (4/5): - The location is excellent, the apartment is spacious, and once upon a time it must have been beautiful — but that time has long passed. The owner communicates in a rather toxic manner. Be sure that the apartment will be cleaned very poorly. Check-in is officially at 16:00, but the place is already “ready” at 12:00 — poorly cleaned, yet you will be offered an early check-in for an additional payment. In other words, you can walk into the apartment at 12:00, but only if you pay a significant amount for entering a dirty flat. Furthermore, when it comes to receiving an invoice, the owner will tell you that you can expect it only when the money arrives on his account. He is absolutely not interested in the fact that you have already paid for your stay long ago. He may tell you to wait a month or more. In any case, he shifts his accounting problems onto you, although you shouldn’t be concerned with them at all.

• Kamberovic (7/5): - I liked the location. I didn’t like they didn’t inform me before about how I can enter the appointment. I received msg at the last, some minutes before 3 pm.
• Michel (3/5): Poorly maintained appartment - The flat is nice, however it is poorly maintained. For example, a very large broken part of the sofa bed was left in the middle of the main room. Another example, the shower head broken. It says there is a kettle, there is none It says there is free WiFi but there is no WiFi. Or to be precise, there is a WiFi but it is not connected to anything, therefore no internet for length of my stay. The main concern is the owner behaviour. Despite MULTIPLE attempts to contact them, NOT A SINGLE REPLY. NOT A WORD. NO EFFORT TO HELP ME especially with internet connection as I had plans to do some work in the flat. So unprofessional

• Riaan (10/5): If we could give a star rating; 5 wouldn't be enough. We were spoiled rotten. Highly recommended. - Outstanding location. Very easy access to public transport. Luxurious apartment. Spectacular view of both Buda and Pest sides and also Danube river. Stylish home decor. Dishwasher was a bonus although we did not use it. Please supply microwave oven. Please repair shower head. A washing machine will add extra value .. Please consider as we have been traveling Europe for two weeks already.
• C (7/5): Good - good location. Big rooms. owner is not responsive to messages and did not provide any instructions to get the key. Luckily we met the cleaner who provided us the access. Kitchen has no electric kettle to boil water. Non stick Pans and pots need replacing because they had holes in them and they are very harmful to use with chemical released from those holes. We couldn't use them at all.
• László (7/5): Perfect location to discover the city - Perfect, quiet location. Easy to reach from the airport or the centre and the castle is only a few stairs. Nice, big apartment.
• Angela (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely stunning location, quiet with lovely views. Beautiful apartment, with stylish decor. Very little critism, Would have loved a TV in the lounge area, we had a day of chilling and would have been better to have watched movies on the sofa rather than in bed. Would definitely recommend this stay, perfect in more ways than one for visiting Budapest 😀
• Simon (3/5): Poor - The apartment is at a great location with good appliances. Our booking parameters were for 4 adults and was accepted by the host. On arrival we found 1 bedroom with double bed, a broken fold open couch and another fold open couch near the entrance. There were only towels for 2 people, no hand towels. On the day we left the apartment is listed as a 2-person apartment at a much lower rate. Even though I send an email to the host to ask for extra linen and towels, I have not received a response to date.
• Trevor (9/5): Character - A stones throw from the fisherman's bastion, though quiet with excellent views. Excellent, spacious apartment with lots of character for the price. Really good shower too. TV didn't work, could be more towels available, no coffee / tea in apartment, dangerous looking plug socket in bedroom and only one small bin in the apartment. Minor things, but all covered in previous reviews / feedback.

• John (8/5): Enjoyed our stay, would love to come back again. - The apartment was stylish and in a great location. Half a block to the bus stop or just 10min walk to River. Like many Airbnb facilities were stocked minimal but adequate. Only one flight of stairs. Part of a building with central ventilation so could be dusty. Mop and broom available upon request. Several electrical outlets needed attention.

• Manuela (4/5): I WILL NOT RECCOMEND THIS ACCOMODATION TO ANYONE - The apartment is convenient located, close to Buda Castel, this being the main objective from this side of the Danube. Anyway, if you what to be close to most of the places of interest from Budapest, you have to find an accommodation on the other side of Danube, not here. Even the apartment was presented as having an amazing view, this is not correct - you may check the attached picture taken from the balcony. To make a summary of our experience to this location, you may check the pictures attached :( - cleaning - INEXISTENT! Spider webs everywhere, the furniture from the kitchen (which is white) was very dirty, in the toilet room, garbage on the corners, the curtains were hanging like in an abandoned house, dead flies were between windows, there was no space to put your clothing - the is a tiny dressing in the bedroom, but it smells old, so we preferred to keep everything in our luggage - the sheet was dirty, as well. The spare bed linen - probably prepared for the next guests - were sitting on the bookshelf, next to some old vinyl, with a lot of dust around. Everything was showing that cleaning was not done properly for a long period of time and the apartment was not prepared to receive guests! On top of everything, the smell in the toilet room was really, really bad (!!!!) and the toilet was really dirty - we couldn't use it without making a proper sanitation before. - landlord - very poor communication, he/she was unfriendly & unhelpful. The landlord specifically asked to use only Booking.com messenger to communicate and specifically asked to contact him/her on mobile for emergency ONLY and by SMS only. We had a dispute related to the car parking facility. It is true that in the apartment presentation it is mentioned that the parking is not offered. BUT, when we tried to pay for the parking - from 8AM to 10PM - we noticed that we cannot pay for more than 3 hours and we have to renew the payment at every 3 hours. When I suggested to the landlord that this aspect will be really helpful for the guests, he said that "I don't think I have to mention this in the presentation" - we felt unwelcomed to his apartment, and he seemed to be very annoyed by my suggestion.

• Mahshad (9/5): Clean and great location , low stock in essentials for the apartment - -Great quiet location, seems to be a higher end neighbourhood -Spacious, clean -Nice balcony and view -Interesting interior decor, has character -good communication, they brought us 1-2 rolls of toilet paper because there was zero extra stock for our 10 day stay -no stocking for simple things such as toilet paper -handwashing soap was mixed with water instead of restocking -dishwashing sponge was absolutely filthy, they didn't bother to leave a one clean sponge -no salt and pepper, we bought some for our 10 day stay and left it for the next guests! These are the basics for long stays and this kitchen was not well stocked.

• Peter (9/5): Fabulous apartment, good location -- just make sure hosts get you clear directions to locate it. - Beautiful apartment. Hosts were very gracious. Location excellent for seeing the most coveted Buda-side attractions. Difficulty in finding the place on foot coming to the area first by train and then by metro from main Budapest train station. Long walk from the nearest metro station trying to follow the directions the hosts sent was exhausting and difficult. In the end we were quite drenched with sweat and tired from climbing up so many steps with heavy luggage. Hosts sent a map with route drawn, but that did not adequately show us where to turn off main road. Once we knew where the apartment was, it was quite easy to go to and fro via routes that did not involve so much stair climbing, so we could wheel luggage.

Only thing I can think off and it is nitpicking is shower curtain were little short (for my taste). and again its really hard to find anything wrong with Donaticoeur residence.
