• Mamba28 (9/5): Superb - All in all our stay was very good and relaxing, the location is wonderful, close to the highway and other important points in Benalmadena, close to Malaga and Airport, supermarkets, beaches and restaurants. The view is breathtaking, the residential complex very esquisite, clean and nice. Totally recommend it. The apartment is very spacious, well equiped kitchen, with a great terrace for dining and hanging out, good WiFi. Big thanks to Diana which greeted us upon arrival and check-out, she was very nice and welcoming. However, it is old fashioned, with old furniture, beds being very bad to sleep on as the mattressess were thin and of low quality. A bit of an issue we had was with the host, as her attitude towards us was as if she was renting the apartment for a full term/period like a month/year. More specifically, we did not feel as if there the host took full responsability of the fact that if you rent an apartment on Booking.com you have to run it like a Hotel business, make sure the customer has everything its needed for a short term accommodation, and to provide assistance for whatever does not work properly at the property or other decent inquiries that a customer/client might have. For example, we were told that check-out had to occur during a certain time frame, even if our flight required us to leave earlier to the airport. Luckily, we only needed a 30 minutes earlier check-out. Not to mention that we had to initiate all the conversations regarding how to make the check-out, what will we do about the keys, how will we access the apartment, who will greet us when we arrive, absolutely no concern on the hosts behalf. Also, the remote that controled the access in the residential complex and the underground parking, did not work and i was told that I should go to a hardware store to change the batteries. We spent two days waiting for somebody else to leave or enter the parking or the residential complex because of this until I found mylself a solution and repaired the remote. We were told that they will find a solution for this issue, but no. Anyone can imagine how frustrating that was. To add more, we were charged a 90 Euros fee for a late check-in, a fee written/displayed nowhere, we wish we knew about the conditions prior to paying for our stay. A big minus for Booking.com for this as well.
