• Inès (10/5): - De loin la plus belle chambre dans laquelle j’ai pu dormir au Laos. Magnifique chambre double avec immense balcon donnant sur le temple. Hyper calme. Famille adorable. Et la literie est d’un confort exceptionnel. On ne peut pas faire mieux niveau localisation, complètement dans le centre mais à l’abris de la cohue. J’ai presque envie de dire que cet endroit justifie le détour à Luang Prabang

• Meri (10/5): Cozy like grandma’s house ❤️ - We had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse in Luang Prabang. It felt incredibly cozy and homey from the moment we arrived. The family who runs it are some of the kindest and most supportive people we’ve met. Their energy is so pure and genuine — you really feel that they care about their guests, not just about making money. That kind of warmth is much more important than any small amenity details. The location is also perfect. Everything is easy to reach, and honestly it’s not necessary to stay right on the riverside. The riverside area can be quite busy and noisy, so this location felt much more peaceful while still being very convenient. Thank you for everything ❤️ Meri and Tomoya

J’avais une chambre royale, très grande avec un super balcon, c’était incroyable. La famille est adorable. Je recommande à 200%. Comme beaucoup d’hôtels / guesthouse au Laos l’insonorisation est plutôt inexistante, mais ce n’est pas la faute de l’établissement et j’ai tout de même très bien dormi

• Tiffany (8/5): Empfehlung - Die Lage des Hotels ist super und man kann alles in der Stadt fussläufig erreichen. Die Zimmer sind gut und sauber, insbesondere wenn man des Preis pro Nacht bedenkt. Die Ausstattung ist minimalistisch gehalten und Kaffee und Obst kann man sich nahe der Rezeption kostenlos selbstständig nehmen. Die Dame an der Rezeption ist wirklich sehr nett. Das Bett war sehr bequem! Insgesamt eine gute Erfahrung. Fur den Preis war alles super.

Cette guest-house est idéalement située au coeur de la vie de Luang Prabang. Merci ! Attention, si vous êtes sensible au bruit, les chambres ne sont pas insonorisées. Ce n'est pas forcément un point négatif, mais encore une fois pour les sensibles sur le sujet la literie est plutôt dure...

• Ariane (5/5): Gute Lage, alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen - Die Unterkunft befindet sich an guter Lage. Die teureren Zimmer sind gross und verfügen über einen grossen Balkon. Die Unterkunft ist sehr alt und schlecht unterhalten. Die Federn in der durchgelegenen Matratze sind einzeln spürbar.

It was perfect for my 1 night stay. The room very much exceeded my expectations. It was spacious yet cozy at the same time. Lovely lighting & big balcony. I was able to easily book a minivan to Nong Khiaw at the guesthouse also, she organised it all for me, which was very convenient. Could hear the family/other guests/outside quite easily from my room. This wasn’t a problem for me as I found it comforting, but thought I’d put it here as it may be an issue for some. Earplugs would be an easy/simple fix!

Wasser imsteht im Zimmer bereit. Preis-Leistung: miserabel, 60 US Dollar für zwei Nächte. Kein Frühstück inbegriffen und die Sauberkeit lässt zu wünschen übrig. Vielleicht hätte ich vorherige Bewertungen lesen sollen. Sehr hartes Bett, ist aber wohl normal in Laos.

• JunHao Abner (9/5): 7D6N of pure chill - The balcony is an excellent place to chill out after a day out, and we even spent 2 days on the balcony just willing the day away. The room was very spacious, with the high ceiling adding to the sensation of space. The toilet is a little dated, but fit in with the overall vibe of the place. An upgrade to the shower mixer would make this place perfect.

Haben dem Ganzen keinen Abbruch getan.

• Raymond (9/5): Great room, great local family - We have come to Luang Prabang over many years and this is one of our two favourite Guest Houses. We have extended our stay, which is the best recommendation.

• Zara (10/5): - The location was perfect with a less than 5 minute walk to morning/night markets, The Royal Palace, Phousi Hill, and other historical sites. The best thing about this place, however, is the family who manage it. They were incredibly caring and fun people and even took us to a club😂. It was a very welcoming experience into Laos, and I wish them all the best.

• Amy (7/5): Lovely little family run guest house, great location for a short stay in Luang Prabang - Great Location! Right near the river. Lovely staff! Beautiful balcony in our room. Our room wasn't cleaned once in the whole 3 days we were there. Even when we left the "make room up" sign on the door from 9.30am! The main door was locked one night, so my husband had to climb over the wall (not ideal, and not sure what we would have done if he couldn't manage it). No bell to ring or contact the owners.
• Wayne (8/5): I would stay at this place again if I ever come back to Luang Prabang as it was comfortable and convenient. - The place was clean and the owner’s were lovely and accommodating. They were helpful and nice. The location was perfect as it’s right next to the royal palace where there’s a market right in front of it every night where you could buy tons of souvenirs. It is a few meters away from Sisavangvong Road that is lined with various restaurants that sells both local and international cuisines. On the other side is the Mekong river which is also a few meters away. The rooms and the beds were spacious and comfortable. It was quiet despite being surrounded by restaurants which made my stay much more comfortable. The sliding door, which separates my bed from the foyer once you enter the room, was broken so it was a hassle having to open and close it every time. The AC was a bit old and took a bit long to chill the entire room but it did get the job done so I wouldn’t really complain about it. I noticed that the water pressure of the shower is a weaker during the day but if you prefer showering at night before bed then its no problem.

Would stay again. - The location is great, owners are responsive and very nice, and the offered services (tours, airport dropoff, etc.) are easy to arrange and all at normal prices, no upselling. Clean bathrooms with nice hot shower. This is a great option in the LP peninsula for the price. The back rooms don't have a balcony, and the view is of neighbouring rooftops - this didn't bother me but others might want a better view.
