• Juli (10/5): Ideal place in the centre and dog friendly - It was a great location, had everything we needed for a weekend away, on the ground floor easy access to the garden, dog friendly, great clear instructions for access from owner. The shower is so nice. Well equipped kitchen. Parking available on the road with a permit. 10/10

• Nataliia (10/5): Perfect stay for a birthday weekend away - Fully quipped kitchen, heating, towels, bedding, lights that come on automatically. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Our dog loved the carpeted flooring and didn’t want to leave. There wasn’t anything we didn’t like.
• Dan (10/5): - Loved it, perfect location to the town centre. Loads of room, kitchen well stocked, bed super comfy,lovely drop down walk in shower. If I had to nit pick, the steps into the property can catch you out on a dark night, could be lit a bit better, overall though 5*

• Mc (5/5): The owner needs to spend a few days here. - Location. The washing machine was mouldy. Made the kitchen smell damp. I had to clean it before i could use it.. There is no shelf in the bathroom, no shower, caddy, no place to hang the hand towel, or a towel when in the shower. No hairdryer had to buy one. No toilet roll holder....nowhere to hang clothes...in the bedroom. The bed was maybe not a foot off the ground. Needs a plug easy to access. Not on an extention on the floor.
• Gary (10/5): Fantastic apartment - The location was perfect literally 100yds to the main road in the centre of Windermere. The accommodation was lovely. Fantastic modern kitchen with everything supplied. All possible utensils, pots, pans even herbs oils butter milk tea coffee chocolate etc. The bathroom is a huge wet room with a large walk in shower. The main bedroom doubles as the lounge with a very comfortable double bed. All towels and bedding provided. High ceilings and huge sash windows give a great feeling of space. Large TV with freesat. I couldn't fault it. You even get use of the garden. Patrick the owner was very welcoming as he was there for another property but leaves you well alone. Parked in the street outside the property with a free supplied permit. I needed the heating as it got quite cold because of a storm. Very warm and very large radiators got it toasty really fast. I couldn't fault it.

Nos gustó que el anfitrión deja todas las pequeñas cosas que dejan los clientes (sal, aceite, bolsas de basura, nescafé, etc) para que los que vienen a continuación las puedan usar. También es clave el permiso de aparcar en las calles aledañas. Y nos gustó el jardín para fumar y tomar algo luego de cenar. La cama es pequeña tanto de ancho (sólo mide 1,35 m.) como de alta, porque tiene cabecera y pies. Si mides más de 1,80 resulta muy incómoda. Debería poner una cama más grande y sin pie de cama que permita sacar los pies si eres más grande.
• Karen (10/5): Excellent, highly recommended - Bigger than expected, clean and great location. Walking distance (1 mile?) to Lake Windemere's main piers for boat trips. A Co-Op is on the corner, and cafes and restaurants are right by the accommodation yet it was very quiet, we slept so well! Tea, coffee and milk etc. being provided was a great touch. Nothing not to like!

• Laura (10/5): Ideal for a stay in Windermere - A perfect location, just far enough away from the main street that’s it’s nice and quiet but close enough that you’re in the middle of Windermere in a couple of minutes. Everything you could need is provided for you and it’s very clean and has some beautiful features. There’s a well looked after garden round the back of the property which was ideal for letting the dogs out for a wee before bed!

Patrick had left fresh milk and there was tea/ coffee. Bathroom fittings were quality standard and shower was excellent. Rain head shower hot and very strong pressure 👍👍parking wasn’t an issue at all with the visitors permit and the location was perfect with all the local shops cafes bars etc just few minutes walk .

• Christopher (10/5): Home from Home - This amazing apartment is centrally located and has everything you could possibly need for your stay. On street parking available outside, short walk to Windermere shops, bars and restaurants as well as being close to the bus stop if needed. The apartment is spacious and modern with the added benefit of still retaining some original features. There really is nothing I could fault about this apartment.

The apartment was well located, being in a quiet residential street close to the centre of Windermere. It was lovely and warm despite the unseasonably cold weather outside. The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. The property has plenty of character with high ceilings and old furniture. The bed is rather small. Although we were okay this could be a problem for some guests.

• Kelly (8/5): Good location for Windermere. - The location is great for Windermere and a 1.5 mile walk to Bowness. The on street parking was close and we had use of a permit. The property was very clean and tidy. The kitchen had good facilities and the bathroom was a good size. The bedroom was also a good size. The camp bed for our young son was situated in the hall area of the property between the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and a glass door that then lead outside to the communal stairs. We were not happy with leaving him there and ended up moving the bed into the bedroom. Our bed wasn't comfortable and there was no wardrobe. The towels were hard and not pleasant smelling.
• Andrew (9/5): Windermere apartment - The apartment was very spacious, warm and clean. Situated on a very quiet side street, yet only 2 minute walk to all facilities such as bars, restaurants etc. There was nothing to dislike.

• Simon (10/5): TOP CLASS CUBBRIAN COMFORT. - Hazlehurst was perfection from the get-go. It is easy to check in with the lock box. Convenient parking with permit provided. Everything we needed was on site, and Patrick made it clear that he was on hand if needed. A comfortable bed and two seater. And a fabulous shower, Internet and tv and a well equipped kitchen. A great location, close to shops, pubs, restaurants, and bus networks. Set in a quiet street and perfect for exploring the lakes. There's Queens Park just up the road. It is ideal to take your dog for a quick toilet break. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Would highly recommend Hazlehurst. .

The bed was a bit uncomfortable but that was my only complaint. The kitchen was filled with everything you need to cook decent food. The bathroom was also well equipped and the shower was very welcome after a hard day on the hills. Cleanliness was superb and I've never stopped in a place, budget to really posh that had Netflix as well as ITVX and iPlayer which made for some very comfortable evenings in, relaxing after a hard day. Parking was easy with the permit. Really pleased with everything, thanks for such a great spot to stay. Mattress could do with a bit more support.

• Cally-jay (10/5): Great apartment in an ideal location. - Fantastic location, with a parking permit included allowing parking directly outside the apartment. 10 minute walk to lake Windermere and 2 minutes into town. Washing machine and a fully furnished apartment with everything you could possibly need. We took our dogs along with us and the large porch after a wet walk was ideal. Will certainly be going back when we can. Patrick was amazing and couldn’t have been more helpful.

• Mei (10/5): One of the best Airbnbs that I have lived. - The owner makes sure that we have everything we need. The house is cosy and comfortable, with lots of beautiful wall pictures. We are like living in a gallery. The kitchen and bathroom are modern and well-equipped. We find it easy to cook and the kitchen utensils are of high quality. It is in a quiet but convenient location. We can easily go to the restaurants in the town centre and the railway station. There's nothing that I am not satisfied with.

Fully equipped kitchen which was fantastic for preparing food for our hikes. Loads of space and the garden was enclosed for our dog. If we were back in the area we would stay again.
