- Samantha (6/5): Pleasant stay in you have a car. - The farmhouse is 500 yrs of age and amazing to stay in something so old. If you are a SWCP walker.. DO NOT stay in this farmhouse. Although quaint and quiet it is toooooooo far if you are a hiker. After a long leg of the SWCP we walked up and up for 1.6kms and it was horrendous. I cried due to how far way it was and to top it off we had to walk back down to eat dinner. There was a shorter cut through paddocks and a wooded track (I would not have done this without my husband) but by no means not much shorter and still as steep. If i had been aware of this I would have by passed Crackington Haven as very limited accommodation and only one place for food and had gotten to the next town.
- Emma (10/5): Received a very warm welcome to this lovely farmhouse, a very relaxing and comfortable stay. - Loved the log fire! Also the fact Becky had got me some gluten free bread was greatly appreciated. It’s a bit of a distance up the hill from Crackington Haven. But you can get the bus, it takes 5 mins and definitely worth it.

- Lian (10/5): Don’t miss this one - Beautiful quaint place to stay, if you are looking for something a little different this is the place. Our stay wasn’t for very long and was a last minute booking. The host was amazing, rang us to check how far away we were as it really was last minute. We arrived to a beautiful old farm house, roaring fire in the shared living room. The bedroom was clean, fresh and tastefully decorated. The shower was excellent water pressure. Really well thought out was a booklet explaining where local places were such as the local shop and places to eat. After a comfortable sleep we were greeted with a cereal & toast selection breakfast. Would stay again!
- Fillo (5/5): Così Così - Staff assente.
Colazione self service scarsa non dichiarata nella prenotazione
Siamo andati da un altra parte a farla
- Lee (9/5): Value for money one of the best sleeps I’ve had away - Peaceful Met my needs

- Wild (10/5): -
- Sarah (6/5): Pleasant - Lovely location, good breakfast Our room was incredibly hot for some reason despite all the other rooms being cooler which made sleep difficult. Also we could hear everything in the breakfast room that was directly below us.
- Gargee (5/5): Nice stay, rude host - stay definitely not for large groups! - Loved the property very cosy vibes and was very clean The property has major noise insulation issues — footsteps upstairs feel like an earthquake below. We were a group of 7 returning after a sunset around 11pm, and naturally, some noise occurred. The next morning, the host had a go at us without so much as a “good morning,” saying this is a B&B where socialising after 10pm isn’t allowed and we should “go to a pub” instead — the nearest one being miles away and not safe after drinking.
We had booked 3 of the 4 rooms and even rearranged ourselves to reduce disturbance. The hostess definitely put a damper on the stay to the point that we skipped the complimentary breakfast.
If groups aren’t welcome, that should be clearly mentioned on the booking page.
- Paula (9/5): Superb -
- Stella (10/5): We loved our stay here and hope to come again if back in this area. - The farmhouse is 500 years old so fascinating in its structure with low beams to duck under to get into the bedroom and little nooks & crannies downstairs. The bedroom was light and bright and the bed very comfortable.
Breakfast was cereals, yogurt, fruit & bread all laid out for you in the downstairs room. You can use the kettle, toaster & microwave anytime. There is also a fridge always stocked with milk.
There is a lounge to sit in with a TV and comfortable settees adjacent to the living room.
There are lots of places to visit in the area.
The host, Becky, is lovely. Very warm, friendly & helpful. Nothing
- Valerie (9/5): Very comfortable bed and quiet farm location - Lots of character. Very comfortable bed. Near Crackington Haven beach. Breakfast was self serve toast, cereal, yogurt, fruit and coffee, tea, and juice. Not really a problem for us as a couple staying for 1 night but no tv in room. Bathroom separate to room, across the hall and down a few stairs. Just want others to be aware if this would make a difference to your stay.
- Robert (9/5): Ideal location for what we wanted - Easy parking, good location
Helpful folder with local information
- Leopold (6/5): Pleasant -
- Reddy (9/5): Superb - Clean&tidy.. and worth money The floor isnt stable, may be it is too old
- Suzy (10/5): Becky was kind and accommodating to two tired, weary walkers. We felt at home and relaxed straight away. Clean and cosy. - Really lovely farmhouse in a beautiful setting. Quiet, homely, Not too far from coast path. A book of info about the coast bath walk was really helpful.
Breakfast and drinks in the morning was plentiful and a great selection.

- David (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hayman (10/5): Excellent - This was the perfect place to rest while walking the South West Coast Path. I had the whole beautiful farm house to myself which was full of character. Huge kitchen with all appliances, huge TV rooms. It takes a while to get used to the house being so huge. Bedrooms upstairs with a very comfy mattress. The host was friendly and there for anything you need. Would definitely return and highly recommend.
- Stuart (9/5): We had a lovely stay and will return, if we're in the area again. - An old farmhouse, full of character. Quiet, comfortable, parking right outside. Host very friendly and helpful. Good simple continental buffet breakfast. Nothing
- Jeremy (10/5): Very comfortable and great value for money - Charming farmhouse, lovely wood burner, comfortable living room and good kitchen/dining room facilities. The beds were super comfortable. The only slight issue for us, being hikers, was that it was a 30 minute walk from the coast path.
- Emese (9/5): Superb - Charming house! Breakfast was just what I needed. I felt a thoughtful organisation! Thank you for the nice accomodation!
- Kinsella (8/5): Very good - Lovely place secluded quiet and comfy Offer of a hot breakfast would be nice even at an extra price?

Breakfast was simplistic continental, but plentiful with many options. Becky made us feel very welcome and would be happy to stay again Maybe a TV in the room - but frankly, not the end of the world

- `carolien (9/5): Nice old farm with good rooms - Nice bedroom. There was a livingroom and a diningroom that we good use for eating, reading and playing games
- Rosemary (6/5): An experience that was transformed by lovely next door neighbour who looked after me - Very quiet rural location but not far from Crackington Haven
Old farmhouse with some very
interesting history learned from a neighbour. No one to meet me on arrival and minimal information. Could not get Wi-Fi to work and no mobile signal. Some low door lintels and steep winding staircase.
- Sally (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful character
- Megan (8/5): Very good -

- Heather (10/5): Wished we could have stayed longer - This was such a delightful place to stay. It was so quiet allowing a great nights sleep. Bed was so comfortable with very good pillows. One of the cleanest properties we’ve had the pleasure of staying in. The old style charm of the property has made it one of our favourites. Becky is such a warm and welcoming person. Nothing
- Graham (10/5): Very welcoming and cosy, family run farmhouse B&B. A reasonable walk from Crackington Haven. - Very welcoming and cosy place to stay near Crackington Haven. Guests have the use of a large sitting room with log-burning stove, plenty of comfortable sofas and a TV. The B&B is set in a solid rural farmhouse, 30+ mins walk away through woodland and up a steep hillside from Crackington Haven's sea front. There are no pubs close by for evening meals - a car would necessary to avoid a long walk each way. There is a farm shop though, only 10 mins walk away to buy provisions. However, my host Becky offered to make me a lovely evening meal as an extra service which was the perfect solution, having already walked 12 miles that day. Thank you Becky! A reasonable walking distance from the sea front along muddy paths and up steep fields. Ok with walking boots, but not an issue if you arrive by car!
- Tina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Estebanbri (9/5): Superb -
- Setty (9/5): Superb - Location is nice It might be better if they provide kitchen access.

The bed was very comfortable.
- Andy (10/5): Beautiful old farmhouse…in a beautiful location - Breakfast was lovely and Jacob couldn’t be nicer, the food was fresh and well cooked! Nothing it was all good
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful room and breakfast. Great hosts
