• Anna (10/5): - Skvělé ubytování za moc dobrou cenu, byly jsme zde s kamarádkou 2 týdny a moc jsme si to užily. Majitelé byli skvělí, budeme na ně s láskou vzpomínat i na jejich výborné snídaně. Se vším pomohli a byli k nám laskaví. Doporučuji!
• Marie (9/5): - V tomto ubytování jsme byli 2 dny. Majitelé jsou úžasní lidé. Připravili pro nás velmi chutné, bohaté snídaně a večeře. Majitel je velmi pozorný a ochotný pomoci. Zařídil nám půjčení skútru a vybavení ke šnorchlování. V den odjezdu nás odvezl na zastávku autobusu. Ubytování bylo vzdušné a jednoduché. Naprosto dostačující pro akční cestovatele. Moc za všechno děkujeme, rádi zase přijedeme 😉
• Francesco (10/5): A casa di amici - Stupenda accoglienza. Un'ottima esperienza di homestay. Le stanze sono semplici ma confortevoli, il rooftop é spartano ma accogliente. Standard base per una stanza low cost in stile srilankese ma con un tocco di attenzione per le esigenze dei viaggiatori. Al piano terra hanno un piccolo negozietto con frutta e verdura utile se volete cucinare qualcosa nella cucina condivisa nell'area comune. Colazione inclusa eccellente e diversa ogni giorno cucinata sul fuoco di legno di cannella e gustata in piatti di terracotta. Consiglio l'esperienza per vivere il posto e l'atmosfera magica della zona o anche solo per conoscere il proprietario Priantha e la moglie che si sono fatti voler bene dal primo incontro.

• esperanza (10/5): Un gérant extraordinaire ❤️❤️ - Tout!!!Apres deux mois à parcourir le Sri Lanka et une grosse vingtaine de Guest house,ce fut de loin ma préférée. Le gérant est exceptionnel, d’une gentillesse incroyable,et extrêmement intéressant. les petits déjeuners sont copieux et délicieux,les dîners vraiment incroyables ( et j’ai dû insister pour les payer car le gérant voulait me les offrir…). Tout est très joli et propre. La Guest house est très bien située ,on peut facilement se rendre à Matara à pieds pour fuir les touristes de Polhena par exemple ( la plage de Matara étant bien plus grande, plus jolie et moins fréquentée). Rien . Je le recommande fortement quelle que soit la saison,quel que soit votre âge ou votre nationalité. Mes enfants qui sont de jeunes adultes apprécieraient certainement autant que moi, pour d’autres raison, c’est certain. J’ai le même âge que le gérant,et nos discussions ont été très enrichissantes, mais il a quelque chose qui fait que les jeunes vont l’adorer à coup sûr. Donc jeunes solo ou jeunes couples n’hésitez pas .Et pour les jeunes filles seules, c’est LA Guest house a choisir pour être en parfaite sécurité ( parole de maman).

• Dmitri (10/5): Big heart prefers simple life 💚 - The host (now my friend) with a big heart. Made my stay here very special. Thank you for everything I'd like to highlight the rooftop on an opwn air where I could practise and watch the starts.
• Sandra (8/5): Everything that you need to stay comfortably in Madiha - A very nice room (interior design-wise) compared to other homestays. The rooftop was very pretty, and the breakfast was amazing as is the owner. Highly recommended! The room I stayed in neighbored another and the wall in between our bathrooms didn’t go all the way to the top so you could see the light and also hear everything.
• Cameron (10/5): Exceptional - Very cool homestay, it's got a relaxing tropical vibe happening, breakfasts are the best local sri lankan food that I've eaten. Priyamtha, your host can help with many activities in the area, ext he is an absolute gem. The beach is a short walk around the corner with a few local juice bars and cafes for those looking for a genuine local experience with a warm and friendly host I recommend this guest house

• Bethany (10/5): Lovely simple stay with a lovely host. Good value, and we enjoyed being in a nice area so close to the ocean and lots of - This stay was very nice. The host was incredible and took wonderful care of us. The room is simple but tastefully decorated, and comfortable. The coconut shower head was a fantastic touch. ;) And when you open up the doors, it has an incredible nature feel. The included Sri Lankan breakfast was amazing, and the dinner he prepared for a very reasonable cost was similarly delicious. Nice variety after eating Indian food for the last few months. Note: it’s more of an open to the outdoors style room. You can close all the doors and windows, and be pretty snug, but don’t expect a hotel room feel. Small creatures can regularly go in and out. There’s a mosquito net over the bed, and we didn’t have any problems at all while we slept. Also, it gets pretty hot, especially if you close everything down to sleep like we did. The fan helps, but expect to be a little warm during the hot months. Worth it for the nature vibes.

It was perfectly centered to access everything so you can get anywhere within a short walk. And the Morning breakfast was top-notch; felt just like Home. I couldn't find anything to dislike.

• Athanasia (10/5): It’s an ideal choice for those who want to connect with local culture, enjoy home-cooked meals, and experience the warmt - Our recent stay at Passionfruit homestay was a really nice experience. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed like family . The room was clean and cozy, a cute balcony with jungle view. One of the highlights was the Sri Lankan dinner and breakfast homemade from our host Bianca who didn’t stop to feed us all the time. Thank you also Yan for your recommendations and your help.

• Jasmin (8/5): Very good - The layout of the accommodation was really nice. The host was very attentive and made sure we had a good time there. There is a slight partition between one of the bathroom walls and ceiling so you can hear everything that is going on in the communal area of the apartment and vice versa.

• Patrycja (9/5): Perfect - I spend at Passionfruit one night only but it was very pleasant! Quiet location with short walk to the beach, beach bars and few shops. Room was clean with simple aesthetic decor and own balcony where you can observe animals (few peacocks may show up if you’re lucky) Hospitality of host and his family is heartwarming ♥️ definitely worth recommending. You can ask host anything and he will help to the best of his ability. Thank you! The only downside is lack of Wi-Fi
• Mathilde (10/5): Very nice host and comfortable place. - This place was amazing, I highly recommend staying there. The host is very kind and helpful. He prepares very good breakfast (included in the price) and can also bring you around with the tuk. The place is pretty, comfortable, clean and has a very good location.
• Carolina (10/5): Exceptional - Priyanthe is an excellent host. The place on its self is very basic (no AC, no hot water), but it is clean and has everything one needs (a personal bathroom, and a simple room with fan and a comfy bed with mosquito net). He and his family prepared us an amazing breakfast, with fruits, eggs, bread, dhal and coconut rice, with fresh coconut water and tea. He was always very supportive, drove us around with his Tuk Tuk, showed us the plants he grows on his terrace and shared with us some interesting insights on the country and on his personal life and future plans. He is a dog lover and takes care of street dogs.

• Sabrina (9/5): Superhost & Very Good Value for Money - Priyantha was really going the extra mile to make my stay as comfy as possible. He picked me up on the way to the accommodation, offered me a fresh welcome drink and showed me around the nearby beaches. On the next morning, he even gave me a lift to the bus station to make sure I get the right bus to Tangalla. I also enjoyed the delicious homemade Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner (4USD) with portions that would serve more than one person. The upcycled coconut elements in the bathroom and the rooftop were quite unique. Sleeping with the sounds of the jungle was also a nice experience. I can definitely recommend staying at Passionfruit Homestay! There were quite some ants in the bathroom, but that is Sri Lanka ;)

Some different kind of local curry I had never tried. I got put on the bus I needed when leaving. No stress to find it by myself. I recommend and would go back again ! • Hanna (10/5): Exceptional - A hidden pearl in Madhia. We have so much positive to say about this place. First of all, the host Priyantha and his family took such good care of us, always making sure we were good. Priyantha often said “If you’re happy I’m happy, if you’re not happy I’m not happy”. And we really want to emphasize how amazing the food we got served here was! We’ve been in Sri Lanka for a while now, and no this is by far the best local food we’ve had..!! The rooms are also very nice and fresh, and they also have a great roof top! Thank you for now, we are really looking forward to coming back to this place:)

The rooms where super nice and clean, the food was the best of the whole trip and the owner Priyantha is the kindest person we have ever met! The Homestay is situated in a super calm area, very close to the beach and has a super cool rooftop chill area! The view is a amazing from up there, plants everywhere even a yoga area!! Super cute place we can highly recommend :)
