Guest Reviews

- Grant (10/5): I’d definitely come back! - The location was perfect. Beautiful countryside. Even though it was cold when we visited, drinking tea outside and enjoying the birds singing in the morning was great. Jeremy was a great host. Always quick to respond to any message and take care of any needs. Property and schoolhouse were very clean and welcoming. We got to meet the dog, Lady, too. :) No dryer made it hard to do laundry BUT it wasn’t listed so we knew there wouldn’t be one. Stovetop would be nice too.
- John (9/5): Perfect place for a quiet few days, secluded but only a few minutes from motorways - Fully equipped Nothing
- Andrew (9/5): Excellent host and brilliant views. - Location was perfect for us to meet family as they all lived close (within 5 miles). Jeremy was fantastic and constantly asking if we needed anything. Maybe a small welcome package e.g. milk (there was tea, coffee and sugar). We had travelled from early morning via ferry and having a cup of tea when we arrived would have been welcome. Also mentioned a sheet with wifi details/recycling process etc. would be handy as if no one around we would not have known code. Mentioned this to host and he has taken note (only been running for less than a year).
- Suzanne (10/5): A lovely Farm Stay - Beautiful apartment, was up stairs on the outside of the building, but we managed. Decorated beautifully, had everything you need for a few nights or longer. The views are stunning. It is a farm stay out in the country, but only a 6 min drive into the village for supplies. Also has Hillsborough Castle nearby very lovely to visit. Highly recommend
- Alan (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, quiet and relaxing. Host was friendly and helpful. Offered to give us a lift if we wanted to head out without taking bikes, and allowed us to store them overnight. Had no issues but brother said the bedroom got a bit stuffy as there is only a small window that does not open.
- Alan (10/5): Little slice of heaven - The accomodation was lovely and the host Jeremy were very welcoming. And went over and above to make our stay memorable. It was perfect
- Peter (9/5): relaxing in the Irish countryside - Quiet location, reactive host, excellent restoration, Some sort of automatic change-over when gas ran out (heating and hot water) might be useful.
- Eamonn (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely hosts great views perfect for a last minute get away
- Mccomb (10/5): Exceptional - Nice new look and modern Some roads were a bit mucky
