• Moritz (7/5): Very big apartment with not so much furniture at the edge of town. - The apartment house is located about 2km outside of the city center in a little suburb off the main road leading south. The apartment was very spacious with a kitchen, 3 bedrooms and a living room. Even though the apartment has lots of space, it feels a bit empty as there is a lot of unused space. Each bedroom only has a bed and a nightstand. An additional chair, a wardrobe, any sort of furniture to put some stuff in or onto would have been nice instead of just having to put everything on the floor. The wifi only reached one of the 3 bedrooms and even there the connection was very weak. An additional repeater for the apartment would be great. Unfortunately it could have been a bit cleaner. There were breadcrumbs under the dining table, some dead mosquitoes on the walls and some of the dishes, especially the glasses were very visibly not cleaned after their last use. I usually would not go that much into details on the negatives, but at the time of booking this place had a rating of 9.1 and unfortunately our stay did not really reflect that. I can see how some small improvements could make a big difference though or how other apartments in the same house could give quite a different experience.
• Laura (8/5): Could have been perfect - Very big and beautiful apartment, new or renovated. I could even live here! For us it was a good location because we were looking for a place to stay for 1 night before crossing the border. Also very nice balcony and (communal) garden. It's a shame I couldn't give this place a 10 because it's such a nice apartment, but (especially) the floors were really dirty, like it hadn't been hoovered for a week. Dust, crumbles, dead insects, hairs. I'm used to walk barefoot in the house and even outside but here I had to use slippers to feel comfortable. Also it's advertised with Wi-Fi but in fact it's not in the apartment itself but at the neighbours(/owners?) apartment so you can use it only if you stand right by the front door.
