Ils m’ont demandé 40€ en liquide car je suis arrivé à 00:40 dans la chambre !!! Comment c’est possible????? C’est illégal de demander cela car soi disant l’arrivée est trop tardive. Des gens malhonnêtes qui ne respectent pas les valeurs de booking. A fuir au plus vite. J’avais en plus trouvé une solution alternative pour récupérer les clefs entre 16h et 20h avec une amie qui était sur place. Mais le propriétaire n’a pas voulu qu’elle vienne les récupérer. Ils font du business sur votre dos en demandant des frais supplémentaires en liquide si vous arrivez après 20h. Quelle malhonnêteté pour cette personne inscrite sur booking.

• Michel (8/5): Bon séjour à recommander. Mieux si les remarques étaient prises en compte. - L’emplacement est parfait pour une visite du centre de la ville. Les installations sont correctes.La cuisine est bien équipée et permet de préparer une petite restauration si nécessaire. La literie qui ne permet pas un repos de bonne qualité. Le ménage des parties communes non fait de façon régulière. La cohabitation avec les autres locataires est fonction de la bonne volonté des uns et des autres et peut être pesante. L’accueil minimaliste .
• Carlos (9/5): Great to get the most out of Madrid Centro! - Excellent location to reach the main touristic attractions of Madrid Centro in few Metro stops or 20 minutes or less walks (Sol/Gran Via/Museums/Retiro Park - Anton Martin Station is just a block away). Many nice bars and restaurants nearby serving both spanish tapas and fusion/international options. Two supermarkets across the street. The common apartment areas were always clean and the host available through Whatsapp. I'll keep it as an option to repeat in the future. Walls are a bit slim and sometimes you'll hear steps from other guests using common areas.
• Daniela (5/5): Me he quedado en mejores lugares en Madrid por precio similar o menor - En la puerta del edificio hay indigentes consumiendo drogas y alcohol durante la noche y madrugada, se me acercaban a pedir dinero y cigarrillos, un empleado de los comercios me dijo que tuviera cuidado porque roban. Al hacer check in fuera de horario diurno cobran una penalidad de 40 euros que no está especificado de antemano, te lo dicen luego de que ya reservaste, pedí que me hicieran factura para que la aerolínea cubriera el gasto por el retraso en el vuelo, no me la enviaron a pesar de pedir varias veces. El inodoro siempre estaba sucio, también la ducha. La habitación si estaba limpia y cómoda. Se escuchaban los ronquidos de la persona de al lado todas las noches.

• Anders (7/5): God valuta for pengene. Kommer gjerne igjen. - Ligger helt i sentrum, allikevel stille. Stedet har alt du trenger, selv im bad, toalett og dusj deles med fler. Trengte overnatting i to døgn før hjemreise og prisen tatt i betraktning var dette veldig god valuta for pengene. Noe lytt til et annet soverom.
• Ruben (7/5): Ottima posizione per visitare Madrid - Ottima posizione, ben pulite le camere e gli spazi comuni (ha 2 bagni, uno con doccia). La cucina fornita di tutto per cucinare e con un grande spazio nel frigo. La strada dell'appartamento è fornita di supermercati, minimarket, tabacchi e bar dove fare colazione. Pessimo isolamento acustico tra le camere, si sentono molti rumori provenire dalle altre camere, cucina e bagni. Fortunatamente gli altri ospiti sono stati educati ed hanno rispettato le ore del silenzio.

• Josep (6/5): Bona situació - Hi havia un ventilador i estava ben situat i net. La carxofa de la dutxa comunitària estava trencada. La televisió no funcionava.
• Maria Florencia (5/5): - La ubicacion fue buena. Desayuno no incluia Llagando sola a la ubicacion y sin conocer el lugar , nunca me respondieron a mis msj ni llamadas . Gracias a la hospitalidad de otros huespedes que hablaban mi idioma pude acceder a otro contacto y saber el motivo por el cual me tuvieron casi dos horas para ingresar . Se acerco otra persona ajena , que no hablaba mi idioma a abrirle a otra persona , y me dio acceso a mi tmb . Pasada la estadia para poder retirarme, volvio a suceder lo mismo , y nuevamente gracias a otros huespedes pude obtener informacion . Por lo cual a nivel asistencia y comunicacion , no lo recomiendo ya que pase por situaciones de angustia . Luego lo que es el establecimiento en si , fue confortable , y bien ubicado .

• Adrián Luis (6/5): - No tenía desayuno. Me pareció muy bien Ana de Georgia, la persona que me recibió y estaba trabajando La verdad es que me equivoqué y soy responsable. Primero por cuestiones persones y me hago cargo me equivoque de fecha, reserve el 25/10/25 y era para el 25/11/25, cuando quise cambiar me pusieron la ley encima que no correspondía y tiene razón la dueña, pero creo que hubiese podido ser más práctica y cambiarme ya que lo pedí con mucho tiempo de anticipación, lo alquilé un mes antes, en la fecha que yo quería salía mucho más barato. No solo que no me lo cambio, sino que pague penalidad, conclusión, termine pagando una habitación con baño compartido algo así como 170 euros, luego cada servicio debía pagarse aparte, ejemplo dejar valijas, lavarropa, etc. Se que fue culpa mía pero cero contemplación , cada vez más desalmado todo. Creo que podría ser de otra manera, no todo pasa por la Plata. Bueno le mando saludos y buena vida igual

Limpísimo y acogedor. La cocina muy equipada para lo que necesites. A un paso de Sol y barrio de las letras y cerca del Retiro y Atocha. La ubicación es inmejorable.

• Yaïr (7/5): Prima accommodatie met alle benodigdheden om te leven als een Madrileen. Wel veel geduld nodig. - Alles om in het appartement te leven was aanwezig: kookgerei, borden, bestek. Je kon zelfs strijken en dat soort zaken. Dat was allemaal top geregeld. Het nakomen van afspraken door het personeel. Conform het verzoek had ik een kwartier van tevoren aangegeven dat ik bij het appartement aan zou komen. Ik heb zelfs méér dan dat gedaan door mijn verwachte aankomsttijd al te communiceren vlak nadat ik het vliegveld met OV verlaten had. '5 minuten' betekende voor mij dat ik ruim 1,5 uur heb staan wachten in de kou voordat er iemand kwam om de sleutel te brengen. Dat is het enige wat ik (zwaar) teleurstellend vond.

• Paul (9/5): - Very clean and comfortable apartment in the heart of Madrid. 10 minutes to all three main art galleries. It was right next to a metro station. Communication was good and access was easy ( it's buzzer 3A). I would recommend solo travellers to book the single room, lovely bed and loads of room for bags etc Well equipped kitchen and good shower, two toilets. A lift was a bonus, it's up 3 floors. Two supermarkets 5 minutes away, and loads of bars and restaurants. I thought it was really good value for the location. I would definitely stay again. A few too many rules, and little flexibility. Check in between 4 and 8 pm or get fined. A little bit too much " or else". Don't store bags there,much cheaper and easier across the road.

Det var nok kafeer, restauranter, barer og butikker på gatene nedenfor. Huset var charmerende på en gammeldags måte, men veggene var tynne. Man hører nesten alt naboene gjør. Det er ikke et sted for folk som våkner lett av lyder.

So if there's a chance you'll arrive late due to a delayed flight or whatever, book elsewhere. The room was comfortable but the whole flat smelt of cigarettes.

La carta igienica era scarsa. Ogni ospite ha le sue esigenze quindi avrebbe più senso dare dei rotoli per stanza.

• Eloisa (10/5): Schöne Habitaciones Magdalena. Organisation des Empfanges Note Zero - In der Unterkunft war alles in Ordnung. Sauber, angernehm, gut ausgestattet ich komme wieder. Bei der Ankunft konnte ich keine Verbindung zur Unterkunft haben. Ich wartete vor der Tür eines Hochhauses und wusste nicht, wo ich klingeln sollte. Zum Glück habe ich einen Jungen angesprochen, der gerade ankam. Zufällig war er dort untergebracht und dazu waren die Putzfrauen noch anwesend. Dann haben sie mich abgeholt. Sie waren sehr höflich und zuvorkommend. Note ZEHN. Eine Kontakt-Telefonnummer habe ich 4 Tage nach meiner Ankunft erhalten. Bei den Nummern, die ich zuvor erhalten hatte, meldete sich keiner und meine Zap-Nachrichten wurden nicht mal geöffnet. Es war überhaupt nicht lustig stundenlang auf der Strasse zu warten.. So was darf nicht passieren. Für die Logistik und Organisation des Empfangs gebe ich Note ZERO.

• Yusuf (10/5): A safe, comfortable, and perfectly located stay in the heart of Madrid — truly 5 stars! - Room with nice view, the location is perfect — just 3 minutes’ walk to the metro, with a mosque next door, plenty of halal restaurants and shops nearby, and within walking distance to Lavapiés and Puerta del Sol. The guesthouse is safe, clean, and comfortable, with a shared kitchen (including a laundry machine) and a shared bathroom with a toilet and bidet. Lucinda, who welcomed me, was very friendly and helpful. Everything about the property was perfect, as traveler I really like staying there

I'd stay here again if I revisit Madrid in the future. - The property is situated in an old building, but make no mistake, as the apartment/flat itself is quite modern. The room was spacious with a generous closet space, a full length mirror, and a smart TV. The bed was comfortable, too. The communal kitchen has got everything you would need, from cutlery to cooking pots, and a generous space in the fridge for whatever you'd need it for. It is also worth mentioning that there is a washer and drier there, as well as space and equipment for ironing clothes. Lastly, although very trivial, as a person of Asian descent, I cannot express my delight enough to find a bidet in the toilet/bath! The host really thinks about the needs of their clientele. Overall, my stay here was up there in terms of comfort and convenience (close proximity to shops and attractions). When I visit Madrid again, I wouldn't think twice booking here again. Check-in time was not very flexible. But in hindsight, this is not much of a problem because there are plenty of rentable lockers nearby should you arrive early and would like to roam around the city already.

• Jiaer (7/5): Good choice if you want city walking in Madrid - Great location with walkable distance to museums and parks. Nearby have many restaurants and bars so very convenient. Room is comfortable with a reasonable price. Bathroom is clean, didn’t use the kitchen but should be good too. Nothing to complain about.

• Jenness (1/5): Very disappointing. Do not recommend this property. establishment to anyone. - Entrance to this illegal BNB was through a locked external door. The lock was faulty so getting the key to open it was extremely difficult. This was a major safety risk if a guest was coming home after dark and was unable to open the door. Staff/ owner seemed unconcerned about this major issue. Neighbour informed me that it was an illegal BNB and the matter was before the courts. Due to my safety concerns, I cancelled the booking and now am being ghosted by the owner in regard to a refund.

• Mateusz (3/5): Very dirty - Lokalizacja. I don't recommend this room. It was very dirty. The floor was not vacuumed at all. There were a lot of cobwebs next to the bed. I'm not sure if the bedding was washed or if the dirt came from the floor, but it had a lot of hair in it. The room was poorly soundproofed, and at night there was continuous thumping (probably from some club).
• Laima (9/5): Superb - Good location. Safe and quiet. Many shops and eating places in surroundings. Elevator in the building (Habitaciones Magdalena is located on 3rd floor). Easy check-in. Simple, but clean and functional. 1 bathroom per 4 rooms, plus 1 toilet. Kitchen is rather well equipped. I liked that there was iron.

• Santiago (2/5): This rental masquerades as a homey service, but operates like a cheap hotel with bad service - I travel a lot reserving temporary housing online. I usually have good experiences and don't give bad reviews. But this place was so bad that I feel you should know what I went through before reserving it. Some things you may want to consider: - The kitchen is useless, you won't save money by eating in-house. Sure, it has silverware and some cooking equipment, but there is NO TABLE and NO CHAIRS. Are you supposed to eat sitting on the floor? - There are 4 rooms but no common spaces. I visited with wife and 8-month baby, and whenever we stayed in the house we were crammed in the tiny bedroom. - Staff doesn't care about you. I asked for a crib for my baby when I first booked, but they just forgot. They sent several generic messages, showing no interest in my specific needs. They'd have remembered the crib if they'd asked. - Staff only cares about collecting money. You might have noticed that they will charge extra for check-in unless you go between 4pm and 8pm (if not, please DO! They don't care if your flight was delayed and you arrive 5 minutes late). There are many other HIDEN FEES you should be aware of: Air conditioning is 10€, laundry is 10€, left luggage service after 6pm is 5€ per hour! - Cleaning staff was polite and did a great job. If you think you are going to save a little money by coming here, reconsider. You are not, and even if you do your experience is going to be so much worse for it that it's not worth it. This rental pretends to be a friendly and convenient service, but in reality, it functions like a low-quality hotel with hidden fees, unhelpful staff, and a lack of basic amenities.
