Guest Reviews
- Shoyer (6/5): Nice for a few nights - You get what you pay for with this flat. It was a good size, lots of space in the bedrooms. The flat itself was fairly clean, presented nicely. The views from the flat are beautiful. It was nice watching the sun come up. WiFi was good there also. Overall we had a good stay at the flat. We only needed it to sleep.
Rory replied whenever I messaged :) The area is much to be desired, I took note of the other reviews and they are true. I didn't mind the noise so much, I've got young kids so I get it. Although when we first arrived I was trying to locate the front door and was met with beds and mattresses, I thought I was in someone else's garden. There isn't much you can do about the neighbours.
I think the flat could do with some TLC, the bed frames and sofas could do with changing, and towel rails are needed in the bathroom. Even over the door hooks. There was no toilet roll when we arrived. However once we went out and got some I later found a roll under a bag and blankets in the airing cupboard.
- Leam (10/5): Definitely book again - Convenient Issue with one the beds headboard
- Guest (2/5): Read the reviews they are true. It was not a pleasant stay - Property was tired but clean. View from living room was amazing All the reviews are correct, had I checked prior to booking I would not have booked. Garden overgrown, shed what can I say!! Noise from neighbours meant little or no sleep the first night, shouting, swearing, child running about to all hours of the morning. Smell of cannabis outside property couldn’t open windows due to this, smell of cannabis also in the property.
Will not book again
- Ian (3/5): If you aren’t bothered by a dirty exterior and noisy place, it’s fine. - There were two bedrooms. The exterior of the house is disturbing with rubbish thrown everywhere, it’s overgrown and there is a shed with a sofa in it with alcohol cans/bottles and cigarette butts everywhere. It is not something you expect from a short term rental property.
The apartment is okay, but the beds are very creaky, there were a number of cockroach like insects found inside. The walls are paper thin and the neighbours are very loud with aggressive shouting happening on each day, there were children running up and down very noisily at all sorts of times.
- Jane (4/5): If you would like to be in an episode of SHAMELESS you'll love this property! - It was handy for work and Crieff is a quite nice town. No hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom. No hooks on the bedroom doors. 2 hangers only in the wardrobe. Nothing to dry clothes on although there is a washing machine provided, which I had to clean out before using. No lamp shades on any of the lights except the standard lamp in the sitting room. No cover over the glass that looks outside onto the landing. An old tin outside the front door with a cigarette butt. The old mirror was in the bathroom. I had to buy 2 chopping boards to cut food on. You can see all the connections to the light in the bedroom, bit worrying. On arrival I was struck by the general untidiness, full dustbins with birds eating nappies from them. I did report this to the pillow partners and was sent an email by somebody called Rory but he never replied to my email which I thought was just rude. The shower fixing became detached and I had to repair it.....The vacuum cleaner was full and I had to empty it. This in itself was difficult as the bins were all full. When I left the flat, to call it an "apartment" is I felt misleading, I took all the detritus with me and had to dispose of it at the local tip. The general untidiness extended to the kitchen with crumbs under the toaster, smelly rubbish left under the bin liner. Goodness only knows when that had been cleaned properly? I washed glasses, plates, cups, cutlery before I used anything. I bought more cleaning clothes, sprays and a washing up bowl. These are all things that I have NEVER had to do before using a Booking.com property. None of the windows opened properly as the blinds had been fitted incorrectly. None of the windows opened at all in the sitting room. On the first evening the neighbours below had an argument for 3.28 hours until the Police arrived. I can't help thinking this shouldn't even be rented out? As I felt unsafe the whole time I was there.
- Lynn (3/5): Poor - Accomodation was clean Health and safety issues! Lots of things broken and not up to scratch. Outside was untidy and rubbish was lying around!
- T (1/5): Dirty cum tissues stuck to the ceiling sums up I’d say 🤢 - Nothing Everything
- Renders (6/5): Pleasant - Fully equipped 2 double bedroom apartment Mattresses were very soft, one bed was very noisy, oven wasn't clean
- Ellie-mae (7/5): It was absolutely lovely and the hosts were very kind! Me and my mother really enjoyed our stay. - It has everything that was necessary for the amount of time we were there. Good location, within walking distance to the high street. Lovely hosts that got back to me whenever I messaged! There were a couple faulty things, other than that I had a fantastic stay :)
- Jeremy (1/5): Overpriced, dirty, dingy, terribly presented hovel with death trap access stairs - Absolutely nothing Everything
- Shirley (3/5): I am making a complaint - Nothing Flat was unclean we left early
- Mary (7/5): Good -
- Laura (1/5): A very disappointing stay and would not be back at all or recommend - Nothing facilities were next to nothing. Pictures are very misleading
Was a quiet location Property was dirty, grimey and in disrepair with holes in the walls and dirty bath mats which smelled provided. Was promised a travel cot which I paid for before arrival and wasn’t provided was then lied to regarding cots whereabouts. Various emails and voice messages ignored by pillow partners very poor service all round. I had took my elderly disabled mum for a break and was sorely disappointed. Not even any toilet roll provided and no actual bed sheets on the bed just what appeared to be mattress protectors. Property smelled dirty and generally poor quality cleanliness.
- Julian (4/5): Barely passable - disappointing - About the apartment, not much, if you need specifically to stay in Crieff for no more than a couple of nights, as we did, then you would probably put up with it, but it's overpriced and best avoided. About Crieff, it's unfortunately generally a bit run-down, but there is a good place for breakfast (Café Rhubarb), a great place for dinner (Craobh-Kroov) and a fabulous food hall and delicatessen (The Crieff Food Company), all on James Square in the centre of town. They deserve to be supported. Dingy surroundings, uninviting external door, poorly decorated internally, broken fittings (bathroom door handle, living room window lock), flickery light switch in one bedroom, very limited consumables (we didn't expect much, but no soap, no washing-up liquid, one roll of loo paper was even less than we did expect). We reported the broken fittings and flickery light switch, but had no replies from the managing agent, only template form messages sent automatically.
- Daniel (5/5): Passable -
