Guest Reviews
- julien (8/5): - Très bon emplacement au coeur de Riomaggiore. Hôte très réactif. Logement avec toutes les commodités. Pas de rideau occultant. Un peu de dérangement par la bruit du train (passage assez régulier).

- Courtney (10/5): The best place to stay in Cinque Terre, close to the best things and quiet at night - Incredible location, very lovely spot with an incredible terrace!
- Richard (10/5): Great spot in the heart of Riomaggiore! - Our visit to Riomaggiore was the highlight of our trip to Italy largely due to our stay in this accommodation. Being right off the village square, we really felt immersed in everything that was happening. It’s also super close to the shops, restaurants, train station and the waterfront. The host was amazing, greeting us when we arrived and giving us some useful tips about the area. Whenever we needed anything he was quick to respond. As an added bonus, we had access to the rooftop where we spent many nights enjoying the sunset and a drink or two. Highly recommend!! Nothing, it was a great place to stay.

- Kamila (10/5): - We absolutely loved our stay - Davide was so helpful and accommodating!! Amazing location, beautiful terrace, and loved our view out the little window. Facilities were great and clean. Lots of stairs to get up to the room, but we were already expecting this from reading the reviews. Would definitely stay again!! Nothing!

- Spring (10/5): - Very convenient to the train station! Air condition which was excellent to sleep at night. Stairs 🤣
- Eli (8/5): -
- Justine (9/5): Pleasant Stay - Verry good location in the centre of Riomaggiore. Davide was verry friendly and helped us troughout our stay if we had any questions.
- Maureen (10/5): -
- Rose (10/5): Great location, great host and great room - all round great stay - The property is in an excellent location. The individual and shared balconies are great. Davide was really helpful and kind and even extended check out for us on our last day so we could stay a little bit longer. We loved our stay and the room had everything we needed.

- James (10/5): Amazing location; will definitely be back! - The location is great if you want to be fully immersed in the local culture. Great view of the sea and boats coming in, plus the terrace and 2nd floor overlook the piazza. It would’ve been nice to have some shade on the terrace; possibly a retractable shade or umbrella to block the mid day sun. This was a minor inconvenience though.
- Tanya (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (9/5): Superb -
- James (10/5): Great place to stay in Cinque Terra - Davide met us and gave us great advice of what to do and where to dine our 2 days there. The roof top terrace was a great place to have a drink.
- Ne (9/5): Superb -
- Michael (9/5): Superb - Nice rooms, perfect location and great advice from Davide on the region
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicholas (10/5): Well kept apartment in a great location. - Well kept apartment in a great location. Nothing.
- Helen (10/5): Perfect! - We have just come back from staying here and we can not recommend this place enough. Perfect location (yes a little noise from the train, but you will forgive that when you realise how convenient the location is!) The room was very clean - in fact we commented on how lovely it smelt - and it had everything we needed! Our host was very accommodating and greeted us not long after we informed him of our arrival! I would stay here again and have already recommend this place to friends and family! Nothing :)
- Nikoleta (9/5): Superb -
- Holly (9/5): Perfect stay in Cinque Terre! - We loved the location and how comfortable it was! We didn’t except the rumble of the train and loud noises at night.
- Federico (9/5): Good location with nice terrace for young couples - Position Nothing
- Salil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brendan (10/5): Great stay - Location was really good, right in the centre of the town. The balcony was a nice addition to the room. There are lots of stairs. This is both in the Appartment and in the town. This is feature of the area and the attraction, but it is not suitable for people with disabilities.
- Cameron (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jackie (10/5): Lovely place, handy for food and drink, harbour and train station in Riomaggiore. - Lovely space, very well presented, situated just beyond the end of the tunnel in Riomaggiore which meant we didn’t have to drag our luggage up the hill 😊 Plenty of contact with owners prior to arrival with instructions and info. N/a
- Tony (8/5): Great spot close to the action - Great spot, close to restaurants, trains, marina, ferries. It had a roof top with a great view and a place to hang up washing or just hang out and enjoy the view with a wine or beer. Our room had a balcony as well which we had breakfast on watching all the people coming and going, perfect! Because it was in the midst of Riomaggiore it was a bit noisy. The room was super cute and we liked it but it was on the small side. The localise up for the minuses though and we were pleased to have stayed there
- Tim (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (10/5): The room was the perfect location in Riomaggiore to enjoy a relaxing stay. - The location was perfect. Not a climb from the train station. There were stairs, but that’s Cinque Terre. The balcony was excellent. Wifi was poor inside, but disconnecting was a bonus.
- Lauren (10/5): Amazing! Great location & friendly host - Great location, amazing host who was super helpful & friendly. Close to train station, main street & plenty of restaurants!
Would definitely recommend!
- Skye (10/5): Lovely town atmosphere, great clean and well equipped property. Very friendly host who was quick to help and easy to com - Great size, amazing location literally steps away from the centre, bars and train station. Had a small communal kitchenette and terrace upstairs that was perfect for the 2 of us.
Lovely host that was great help, made us feel at home and provided recommendations for best places to go!! You could vaguely hear the trains rumble, otherwise you became immune to the background very quickly and was not a problem at all!!
- Thompst (9/5): Being so close to the train station and in an excellent location in the town made fir a perfect sta - Loved the location and the support from Davide Little bit noisy through the early hours from passing goods trains. But not enough to detract from the overall experience
- Tannia (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Iurii (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is super. The owner is super man! He was taking care of us from the beginning: he was trying to make the booking for parking, he advised the restaurants for us, in the room there was the coffee machine already with filled water, there was small bottle with sparkling wine, everything was super! He was thinking about us! -
- Morgan (9/5): Superb -
- Steven (9/5): Great location, great host, pity about the rainy weather which took the gloss off the stay. - Location is central. Great views from the roof terrace. Spacious room with nice balcony.
The communal area was a great touch. Central location has the drawback of being a little noisy with the train station so close, but I’d take the location over the noise any day.
- Maria (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nichole (7/5): Good - Location, bed was comfortable The stairs
- Patti (8/5): Great location with beautiful water views. - Great location - Riomaggiore is very steep and this property is essentially right at the start of town (as you exit the tunnel from the train station) so you do not have to drag your luggage up the hill. The room itself is very nice/clean with a small balcony with water views. The host, David, was incredibly helpful - he carried my bag up the many stairs to get to our room. He was responsive to my all my queries (connected me to a local driver) and he even delivered decaffeinated coffee pods to us when he found out my husband only drinks decaf. The shared terrace upstairs is also lovely and equipped with dishes, cutlery, corkscrew, kettle, etc making it easy to stay in and enjoy a bottle of wine or make tea. There was also a helpful in room booklet with recommendations for restaurants, the train/ferry schedule, etc. The bathroom has no place to store any toiletries - there is no shelf or vanity although there was at least a shower caddy for shampoo/soap.
- Paula (10/5): Exceptional - Very central location, super friendly host and all together a lovely stay.
- Eliza (8/5): A gorgeous little room in the heart of Riomaggiore - The properly is in an incredible location. Its 2 minutes from the marina and train station. It’s very small but good value. The rooftop has beautiful views. Nothing - it was great
- Jonathan (10/5): Great stay, great amenities, great host - Fantastic location and views easily accessible
We had balcony room which was great but highlight was roof top terrace
- Hanna (10/5): We absolutely loved this accommodation during our stay in Riomaggiore - Very clean, super close to the train station, amazing host, the rooftop terrace Nothing, it was amazing
- Jenny (9/5): Superb - Very nice room in a perfect location, not too many stairs which was lovely after a day's hiking
Comfortable bed, nice balcony. Bit small bathroom but functional. Clean and beautiful room.
Isabella was very helpful and attentive. Nothing. You could hear the train in the room but it didn't bother us. Also, the party outside could get a bit loud, but when we closed the windows it wasn't too bad.
- Joel (10/5): Great comfortable stay and perfect location - The room was really nice and comfortable, had all we needed and a great view from the balcony and from the rooftop. Easy to find and a great location in the heart of the village
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Todd (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jade (10/5): Exceptional - Davide was very helpful, lovely good size room and our own little balcony looking onto a piazza with the sea in the background. Davide give us tips on restaurants and visiting Porto venere which was lovely. bed is starting to dip so a mattresss topper may help, can be a bit noisy with the trains but the location couldn't have been better and we were so tired from all the walking it didn't bother us at all!
- Douglas (9/5): We would definitely stay in this room again. - We loved the location and being close to everything, and the balcony overlooking the plaza. A wonderful spot to spend the evening. The close-to-everything location also meant that it was a very noisy spot. Fortunately, we had earplugs with us which allowed us to sleep through the noise.

- Joanne (10/5): A Wonderful Week in Riomaggiore - The property is in the heart of the village, close to the station, restaurants, shops and bars. It is well equipped and clean. It has a private balcony overlooking the village square but also a communal rooftop terrace, also well equipped with cutlery and crockery and provisions to enjoy a meal or drink. Communication throughout was great. We loved everything. It is worth highlighting for less mobile guests that the apartment is accessed via quite steep steps but I would expect anyone visiting Cinque Terre is aware that lots of climbing is necessary. Also due to the close proximity to the station, there is the regular rumble of passing trains. The balcony overlooks the village square and school so there is also the sound of boisterous children 😄
- Brittany (7/5): Great spot close to train station and Main Street, firm mattress and a bit too hot, but overall a lovely space. - Location is amazing, very close to the train station and just off of the main road. Looove the rooftop terrace, such a sweet spot. Unfortunately the air con would not get cooler than 24, which as Canadians who are not used to the heat, made it very difficult to sleep. Additionally the bed is quite hard, pillows very firm so not the most comfortable, but overall it was a lovely space for a few days in Cinque Terre. Many thanks for having us!
- Mitchell (10/5): Great apartment & exceptional terrace! - The location was great and the private terrace was fantastic. We got take away both nights to sit up there and enjoy it! The pillows on the bed were very very hard, make sure to check the chest cupboard and you will find a much softer spare.
- Joele (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (7/5): Lovely small and clean room. Little balcony was so cute. Top terrace was amazing. - Loved the location in the town. Almost right above the tunnel into town. Very convenient. Riomaggiore was our least fav of the cinque terre as it had the least to offer for exploration though. It was really nice- beds, clean, staff.
Would have liked a chair in room to sit and two more pillows for bed.
- Tommaso (9/5): Special thanks to the host! Davide was super friendly and really helped us enjoying our stay. - Perfect for visiting the Cinque Terre.
Both the room and the bathroom were super clean and had all the necessities we needed.
The room's apartment is located in the center of Riomaggiore, which makes it close to anything you may need: train station, mini-market, bars, restaurants, port, beach. Everything is just a couple of steps away.
- Pinar (9/5): Amazing view, great service. - We really liked to stay here. The room with the balcony offers a great view. The location is perfect, super close to the train station and you don't have to climb all the stairs up to town. The room was big enough and clean. Davide is a great host, he was so nice. I would definitely recommend this place if you want the experience Riomaggiore with a great view. This wasn't an issue for us but obviously, due to the amazing location, there was always noise from the street. Heavy sleepers wouldn't have a problem but for the rest can be an issue. But this is not something the place can change. Not their fault or something :) It's just the nature of a popular location.
- Vanessa (8/5): Very good -
- Eliza (10/5): Would highly recommend for a visit to Cinque Terre - Clean, tidy apartment. Rooftop access with view of the water, basic facilities up there too so you can enjoy a drink or snack.
Easy access into town and to the train station.
Davide the host gave great instructions and was very accomodating. The stairs up, but who does!? Must be able bodied, 3 flights up to the room.
- Jonathon (10/5): Stunning apartment in Riomaggiore - Amazing room in an amazing location! Davide was lovely and extremely helpful and the terrace was just superb. The photos did not do this place justice to how lovely it was!
- Amy (9/5): Superb -
- Faye (8/5): Beautiful location in a beautiful place - Great location, right off the Main Street. Unfortunately, this did mean we heard quite a bit of noise inside the room, so if you’re after somewhere really quiet it wouldn’t be suitable. The host was lovely, he gave us loads of information on the area and some tips on restaurants etc. The room was spotless and we had a balcony, which was really nice. There’s also a terrace for use, which we did use a couple of times and it’s a really nice area with a great view, there’s also some glasses and cutlery up there, which is handy and a nice touch. Overall we loved our stay, thank you! Just a little noisy but that’s what you get for such a central location I guess. Not necessarily a negative but something to consider when booking.

- Emile (10/5): Exceptional -
- Luka (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dejana (10/5): Exceptional - Rooftop terrace with amazing Riomaggiore views equipped with a kitchenette for morning coffee or evening aperitvo. Easy to find location and amazing host ready to share all local tips, you can also find all and everything you need to know in a printed book guide in the apartment. Bagage storage after check out. All in all 100% recommended.
- Kelsey (9/5): Superb - We got to the accommodations before check in. The host let us drop our bags off early and gave us recommendations of good restaurants in the area. The accommodation is located right on the main street of Riomaggiore, close to the train station. Our room was on the third floor, with steep staircases that may not be suitable for those with mobility limitations. The room was clean and the building had a lovely, shared terrace on the roof. We loved our stay here.
