Breakfast in Black Mulberry very good and with 50% off . Everyone very friendly and helpful. Side steps quite steep if unfit. Would like toiletries in shower.

Lots of little touches to add comfort to the stay - Location was excellent Parking was a massive plus & although the road was narrow, there were no problems Views were fantastic Nothing really but a dining room table instead of a breakfast bar would have been more useful to us

• HELEN (9/5): Fantastic little find. - Beautiful location and views of the viaduct arches and river. Sunny balcony in late afternoon and evening overlooking the river. Bright, warm and sunny living area. Fully equipped kitchen. Careful on the steps up to the property . A bigger bed would have been better, but not sure there would be room, unfortunately.

• Amanda (9/5): - Beautiful, interesting town. Easy to get around. Regular trains to Harrogate and York. Lovely breakfasts at Black Mulberry. The balcony view is amazing - could spend hours sitting there! Dedicated parking space. Can't think of anything...
• Joanne (10/5): Knaresborough's best places to stay! - The Hideaway was perfect! Definitely one of the best places we have stayed. It was spotlessly clean, warm, modern and cosy. The bed was very comfy and the balcony was a great bonus. You can really tell this apartment is the pride and joy of its owners. Lots of lovely touches like real plants, lovely art work, and milk, tea and coffee provided. There were nice blankets and cushions so we could enjoy the balcony in the evening and having a dedicated parking space right next door was ideal. One if the best things about the Hideaway was the 50% discount in the Black Mulberry downstairs. We had a delicious breakfast there both days and were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. I had a treatment at Aimes Health & Beauty while we were there which I would also highly recommend if you fancy a pamper! If you are visiting Knaresborough I don't think you could find a better place to stay. Nothing, it really was ideal.
• Stacey (10/5): Absolutely amazing location. Clean and a very stunning property. - The location is absolutely perfect. A couple of teething issues that were sorted out immediately by Dot and Alex. Attention to detail was fantastic. The welcome book was Definitely well thought out and a great touch as some places we have stayed don’t even bother with this. Would definitely recommend and am hoping to stay here again next year. Having a parking spot was great in such a popular area 👍 Nothing!!! This property is amazing!!

• Victoria (10/5): Fabulous apartment in a lovely location. Great Hosts - Location perfect. Gorgeous outlook. ( hill into town) Very well equipped with nothing lacking for a self catering stay. Refurbished to a very high standard. Excellent communication from hosts and a wonderfully warm welcome from themselves and the staff downstairs. Smart TV available. Great breakfast downstairs with a fantastic discount. Automatic bathroom light a bit too bright for nighttime. ( small negative)

• ROXANNE (10/5): A perfect place to stay. - We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. From the moment we arrived, it felt welcoming, stylish, and thoughtfully put together. The décor is beautiful and everything you could need is provided, making it feel like a real home from home. The absolute highlight is the view – looking out over the viaduct was so peaceful and relaxing, whether in the morning with a coffee or winding down in the evening. It really gave the place something special and made our stay memorable. The location was ideal as a base for exploring the area. We were close to everything we wanted to see and do, yet the apartment itself felt calm and quiet when we returned after busy days out.

• Martin (10/5): What a fantastic location - It was the most wonderful stay over the weekend. Fantastic apartment and WHAT A VIEW! Spent hours sat on the balcony. The owners have thought of everything. We could have stayed for a week easily. Knaresborough is a lovely little town with everywhere accessible on foot. I’d recommend this to anyone. You’ll not regret it. There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

The apartment was spotless & beautifully appointed with everything you need. I would have preferred a larger bed as I'm used to a king size bed at home I find a double bed quite small.

Host was lovely and friendly and very helpful, the appartment was fabulous and has everything you need for a mini break, and with the cafe below offering 50%off for guests what more could you want. We will definately return to this appartment in a beautiful part of the country ❤️

It was exceptionally presented, clean and well heated. The balcony was lovely, where you can sit and enjoy the views day or night. Lovely walks around the area. Great communication with the host from the moment we arrived. There was nothing to dislike.
• Hanson (10/5): We wanted a few days of complete relaxation and that was exactly what we got. - The view is incredible and the balcony was perfect, even the lighting on the balcony was perfect for reading in the evening. We loved the fact that we could order food from the cafe downstairs to have delivered to our room... and it was 50% off! We are going to book again in a couple of months. The only issue we had was that the heating and hot water weren't working but Alex organised for someone to fix it and it was sorted the same day.

• Makda (10/5): Lovely place, lovely host - It was the cleanest, most aesthetic yet practical apartment and the interior was amazing and cosy! We had to cut our trip short due to a medical emergency but Alex personally drove us to the hospital and showed so much care and kindness. Not only was the place spot on and one I would recommend to everyone, the host was extremely kind and made us believe even more in the goodness of people.

• Janet (10/5): Stylish and modern apartment in a beautiful location with a fabulous view from the balcony, - Stylish, modern and spotlessly clean apartment in a beautiful location. We loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the lovely view of the river, sipping our cappuccinos from the cafe downstairs. The hosts were super helpful and friendly. Knaresborough is a charming, historical town. Nothing, everything was great.
• Paul (10/5): Great place to stay overlooking the river, wonderful - Great apartment in a wonderful location, Alex and her staff give you a very warm welcome and look after you extremely well, the breakfast was good and service was very good, the apartment has everything you need and is fitted with quality furnishings and bedding, would highly recommend, well done.
• Beky (10/5): Perfect clean and ultra modern apartment in a stunning location - Absolutely stunning clean and modern apartment, with lots of useful gadgets and features, fantastic view of the river and bridge and only a 5-10 minute walk to the town centre. Everything was so comfortable in the apartment so even when we had returned from a cold, brisk walk, we were warm and cosy as soon as you walk through the door thanks to the under floor heating! All mod cons provided and a lovely breakfast at half price in the cafe below! The only thing missing was a pen to write in the guest book! Not a problem for us but those less mobile May struggle with the steps, however Knaresborough itself is quite hilly
• Jai (9/5): Perfect place for a weekend in Knaresborough - We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at The Hideaway. The apartment felt very welcoming and homely. It was also very clean. Upon request, they had put up balloons and a banner for my boyfriend’s birthday which was greatly appreciated. We had breakfast downstairs which was lovely, it’s clear to see why the cafe is so popular. Would highly recommend The Hideaway to anyone. No complaints, it was great for a weekend away.

• Kesf (10/5): A well needed rest! - Super holiday staying 6 nights at this beautiful accommodation. It is so well equipped and ticks all the boxes for comfort, cleanliness, location and dog friendliness. The owners of Hideaway and their staff that work in the little cafe underneath were wonderful. Great food too! Stunning views from the balcony of Knaresborough Viaduct & people enjoying the boats on the river. Highly recommend staying here. We loved everything. There was nothing to dislike.

The interior was decorated to a very high standard and it was spotlessly clean The balcony definitely added to a fantastic short break in a picturesque small friendly town. Our host Alex was really welcoming and friendly and it was a bonus to receive 50% breakfast discount from her cafe which is just below the apartment I'm sure we will return here in the future
• Paul (10/5): Excellent apartment in a fabulous setting - We didn’t receive the email with entrance details before we left home, so we had trouble finding number 29 didn’t realise it was above the cafe! Otherwise it is a great property in a absolutely lovely setting, loved watching the activity on the river, Alex was very friendly as was the staff in the cafe, a nice touch with the coffee beans and milk, everything in the apartment was brand new, loved it. Would highly recommend, well done. Not so keen on the high stools and bench for eating, would prefer small table and chairs, but that is just a minor personal preference, nothing to really dislike.
