Guest Reviews
- Clare (9/5): Great holiday home - Comfortable property, well equipped & in easy walking distance of Mablethorpe centre.
- Stuart (10/5): Authentic seaside adventure in a traditional property. - Great location. So close to beach and quick walk into town. Off road parking.
Property was fab, retained many original features but lovely and comfy. Loved the bathroom furniture.
Robin Hood Fish and Chips on Golf Road was amazing, too. Nothing. All good.
- Lynne (10/5): Clearsands, perfect little bungalow - Clearsands is clean, comfy, and a perfect place to visit the beach. You have everything you need, kitchen equipment, bath and shower. Outdoor space to enjoy the warm weather.
- Natalie (9/5): - The location of this property was absolutely perfect, close to the beach, a local shop and beautiful green space close by for walking the dog at the end of the day. The beds were super comfy, excellent shower and a great gas cooker and cute conservatory which we relaxed in most nights. We would definitely stay again.
The walk into Mablethorpe was pleasant and didnt take long at all.
Huge thank you to Sarah the host, who provided very thorough information before our stay.
- Denise (9/5): Brilliant, lovely bungalow, great location, friendly communication. - Fantastic location, great driveway, lots of room, warm and friendly
- Lee (9/5): Excellent - Perfect location, great for dogs No
- Denise (9/5): Fantastic will definitely book again -
- Sandra (8/5): Perfect for dogs & their owners! - The property was perfect for us, as dog owners. No carpet, leather sofa = easy to hoover up dog hairs & sand! Enclosed back garden - essential. Homely, rather than chic - tick. Very comfy beds - lovely. 2 minutes to a gorgeous sandy beach - heaven! Can’t think of anything really.
- pamela (9/5): Very cosy and interesting. - Close to the centre. Easy to find. Parking on driveway A lovely bathroom and interesting furniture very cosy and warm especially because all the days that I visited it rained and had very high winds. It was lovely to come back too . Key instructions were incorrect to booking.coms instructions, but host was able to give me the new code. The fridge seemed to be not cold enough so I did try to turn it to max but not so effective

- Ian (9/5): Great place for a break - Well appointed and very comfortable That there wasn't a sea view!
- Shirley (9/5): Warm and cosy - A lovely warm chalet with all we required for our short stay . A short walk to the beach however you would need to go the longer way along the road if steps are a problem .
- Karen (8/5): Lovely little gem of a property. - Very clean and enough space for 4 adults and 2 dogs. Across the road from the beach up some steps. Great location. Enclosed outside space so dogs/children are safe. (No grassed area it is decked) outside furniture provided bet we went just before new year so we didn't sit outside. Books and games available to use. Nothing. Everything was as we expected.
- Michael (8/5): Very comfortable stay for a great price. - Cold outside but the heating was very good. Allowed dogs which was great, ample parking, and very well stocked with kitchen stuff. Mattress in the bedroom off the lounge was a little to hard for my tastes.
- Sarah (10/5): - Lovely everything you need for your break warm cosy nice hosts 10/10 Nothing
- James (10/5): Lovely short break away, great location for quick and easy access to the beach and other amenities. - The Bungalow is well presented with a lovely bathroom and very comfy beds, living room is nice and cosy with a sea side theme, and the kitchen is kitted out nicely for easy self catering. Would happily stay again.
- Brown (9/5): - Everything about it Nothing
- Caroline (10/5): Had a lovely few days meeting up with family, definitely would stay again. 😊😊 - Very comfortable, clean and quiet. Excellent location next to the beach. Easy walk into town.

Great communication with the owner, will definitely return in the Summer. Nothing not to like.
- Lee (8/5): Had a great weekend with the dogs going on the beach - Very cozy Well equipped
- Neil Houlton (9/5): - Location and dog friendliness were the highlight, all the things we needed were there. The balcony and garden were great for our dog. We got confused finding it, we thought we were looking for a place called Clearsands, but the house is called Jesmond Dene.
- Ann (8/5): A hidden gem - Fab location for beach and town. Enjoyed the free standing bath. Good layout. Lovely stay. Nothing we didn't like but a couple of suggestions to improve. Tap in bathroom sink moves so have to careful when using. Went to have boiled eggs for breakfast but couldn't find any egg cups. A tv in bedroom would be handy. Dog not keen on the gravel.
- Jepson (10/5): Would definitely book this place again. - Perfect location. The beach was only a few minutes walk (with a cafe as well, seal sanctuary-10minutes walk and arcades and rides 15minutes walk away. Very quiet in the evenings as well. Plenty of space in the house to chill out in the evenings after a busy day on the beach.
- cheryl (10/5): -
- Robert (10/5): Great location - The property is very spacious, nice conservatory, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of room in the back garden, we took our 2 dogs with us. Nice decking area. About a 3 minute walk to a nice sandy beach. 10 minute walk into the centre. Excellent location. Have already booked for next year! The only downside is that it's situated on a main road, so you have the traffic noise, but it didn't really bother us.
- Barbara (9/5): -

- Katie (9/5): Lovely well equipped, clean bungalow in great location for a relaxing getaway. - Location was perfect for our two dogs, right across the road to the beach. 10 minute walk into Mablethorpe The quilt in the back bedroom off the lounge was too thin, had to use throws from living room as was cold. The conservatory kept sticking so was difficult to lock.
- Southern (8/5): Very good - Location
- Charlotte (7/5): Good -
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -

Nice quiet relaxing place, garden terrace would be lovely in the summer to sit out. Sarah the owner sent lots of information about the property and area before arrival. Looking forward to visiting again. Very dog friendly accommodation, lots of dog friendly places to eat or just have coffee in area which allow dogs. Lovely walks along the beach.
- Jonathan (10/5): Great location, very clean and comfortable - Lovely bungalow, clean , warm , spacious and comfortable. Great location. Good communication from the owners. - Ray (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice bungalow.
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely bungalow. Great location.
- Sue (9/5): Small and cosy bungalow in a good location with safe parking, walking distance to beach and town. - On drive parking, close to town, quick walk to the beach, lovely shower, plenty of plugs, rather nice bathroom. Duvet was very thin for winter. Prefer not to have heated bedroom, but needed it because I was so cold with just a duvet. No front outside light, making access to front door a bit tricky in the dark.
Very dated furnishings
- Helen (10/5): We would highly recommend this lovely bungalow, we found it great value for money in a fantastic location. Thank you to - Fantastic location, 15 min walk to Mablethorpe and 5 minutes walk to beach.
Lovely clean bungalow with 2 good sized bedrooms, large kitchen & bathroom, conservatory & a safe decking area at the rear for dogs.
Everything you could possibly need is provided inside the bungalow.
Safe parking area for 2 cars.
We stayed in November and it was lovely & warm with easily controlled heating.
Close to local shop & chippie. There wasn’t anything to dislike, it was fantastic!

Short walk to town Step down into bathroom, kept missing it, became our joke " Mind the step!"

- Simon (10/5): Exceptional -
- Russell (10/5): We had a great time. Good access to the beach. Shops just a 15 minute walk - Great position. Well equipped. Very comfortable. All good for the price
