Guest Reviews
- Jacob (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Five Stars! - This is my second stay at Sant’Antonio & I absolutely love it. It feels like home away from home. The proximity to public transit is perfect & if you choose to walk, it’s not far from the Colosseum. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud and the apartment is very quiet.
Check in is very easy & I am so thankful for the elevator. The building is beautiful and has a lot of charm. Nothing! My stay was perfect!
- Anonymous (10/5): Good bed , great view and good location - Great place with good bus and train stations close to apartment
- Anonymous (8/5): We very much enjoyed our stay, the location makes this place a must stay. - The location is incredible, it’s a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. Lots of lovely local restaurants and bars to enjoy. It was unclear that we had to share a bathroom /toilet before we booked.
- Sarah (1/5): Disgusting Nightmare Hostel - This disgusting hostel totally ruined our vacation!
We were made to share a bathroom between 10 people, so it was rarely available and we could not shower since there was no hot water. Our biggest issue was the toilet was constantly leaking disgusting toilet water over the floor, which was a hygiene and safety hazard. The sink was also clogged and disgusting.
The rooms are not at all as described, almost no lighting or furniture. The "King room" is actually a double bed. Things were broken everywhere including the tap and tiles.
The walls are not soundproof and are incredibly thin, so we were kept awake by crying babies and fighting couples. It is also on a very busy intersection so you will hear HONKING AT HOURS.
The host is incredibly rude and attempted to confront us because of our complaints about the unusable bathroom.
Avoid at all costs!
- Honora (10/5): Exceptional - Balcony was nice
- Belis (7/5): Good - The location is perfect, near the metro station. There is no central illumination in the room, there are lamps which aren’t effective. In the room has a lack of a mirror, which is very inconvenient for women especially when you have to make up, cuz there is only a mirror in the bathroom which is not so, so private and very often occupied and must wait.. The towels are very old, the shower is very difficult to control the hot/cold water. Overall I’m with mixed feelings about this place.
- Pieter (7/5): Good -
- Combis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Şevval (10/5): It was really good. Thank you so much ! :) - The location and the room’s architecture were beautiful❤️ There was no mirror in the room, which made it difficult to do my makeup :(
- Pat (8/5): Very good - Owner and staff they truly go out of their way to make your stay comfortable.
Room very beautiful
Close to Metro which is directly linked to best places in Rome Private Shower but outside room
- Ryan (5/5): Passable - Nice aesthetic, comfortable room in a decent location Host very unorganised, tough to communicate with and pushed our check in time back 30 minutes without informing us.
- Julia (6/5): Mixed feelings - + Very good location, close to metro and city center.
+ Room was very nice for a short visit - sufficient equipment for everything needed. Nice kitchen with a small balcony.
+ Beds comfortable.
+ Apartment well maintained. - The apartment was noisy. The doors creaked a lot, the locks were very loud, you could hear every time someone left the room or locked themselves in the bathroom. Luckily you couldn't hear conversations from other rooms, only movement in the corridor. It's also worth knowing that you can hear traffic from the street, constant honking, etc. - with the windows closed it's okay but then you have to turn on the humming air conditioning.
- We had no problem sharing the bathroom with other people (we knew it would be like that, the description was clear) but for such a large number of people it was difficult, the bathroom was very often occupied.
- Very stressful arrival. The owner confirmed to me twice (a few months before arrival and again the day before arrival) that checking in after 11pm would be fine (our plane landed at 10pm) but as soon as we landed I started getting calls and messages saying we had to hurry up because it was late. We couldn't have been there faster, we took the first bus that came, a taxi would have been very expensive.
- Alexander (10/5): Exceptional - Great location, very good communication and went beyond to help me out
- Thuy (8/5): Very good - Spacious room with a big window for a lot of natural sunlight. The shower leaks and it’s hard to control the temperature of the water. Communication with the host is difficult.
- Miliyana (10/5): The private bathroom - The location, the bed is extremely comfy, the host is friendly, overall good experience and as expected, except the bathroom situation The private bathroom is not so private, during our stay, there were other guests using it and claiming that the host did not inform them it was supposed to be private. Maybe adding some indication for future guests would be helpful
- Abhishek (8/5): Very good -
- Savina (7/5): Good -
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, cozy and very well connected!
- Martin (7/5): Good -
- Ksenia (6/5): Fine in general, but must be mentioned that this is a Room with bathroom in the corridor. - The location is good. The host is friendly and helpful. Nice common kitchen but I never used it. The private bathroom is not in the room - you need to go through the corridor. In fact, you are receiving a hostel experience with a private room. The towels are very old.
- Meyer (7/5): Great Location, Not a Private Apartment - The location was very close to the Metro and the heart of Rome which made getting around relatively easy. The area was clean and comfortable with a kitchen you could use. It was not well advertised that the area is not private. You will be sharing common areas with 3 other rooms as well as sharing a bathroom with one other room. Additionally, there was no TV in the room and traffic is quite loud in the morning and during the day. It would have been nice to pay the city tax without needing cash too.
- Mari-liis (6/5): Pleasant - Very noisy (street nois) . And the "private" bathroom was across the hallway
- Clau (8/5): Good option for the price - The location is very convenient, as it is close to Metro A, which connects to the main attractions. The bedroom, along with the common bathroom, was very clean and spacious. The wardrobe was only a rack to hang some clothing; the room lacked a table or something. There is no central illumination, and the lamps are not particularly efficient. It was unclear whether the kitchen was available for use, and the WiFi password was difficult to obtain.
- Jose (10/5): Very comfortable - It’s a perfect apartment near to many attractions, love the place, it’s clean and very very comfortable, love the style, a truly Roman apartment absolutely love it!
