• Ejgil (8/5): - Am checkout Tag man der Roomservice zu früh. Das unmittelbar angrenzende Viertel zur Nordseite ist nicht besonders Vertrauenserweckend. Zur anderen Seite - Richtung Innenstadt völlig OK, sehr hübsch sogar.

• Gerard (9/5): Our stay at Catania couldn’t have been much better. - Clean and modern apartment with great facilities. Easy walking distance to Centrale and Centro. Located in a quiet area. Hosts were great.
• Andrew (8/5): Fine for a couple of nights. - Convenient for the main station 5-10 minute walk, also local airport Alibus stop is nearby. The main tourist area Duomo etc are about 15 minutes walk away. We only stayed 2 nights so didn’t cook but there were all the facilities necessary. In fact it felt more like a longer stay room as it also had a washing machine in a small utility type space. There were usual pre-packed continental breakfast cakes & croissants provided along with tea and coffee. On arrival the room didn’t feel as if it was in the best of areas but after a day of walking round Catania we found that the city feels more like Naples, so didn’t worry.

• Susanne (10/5): Volle Weiterempfehlung - Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, es fehlte an nichts. Den Mietern vor uns müssen wir widersprechen, sowohl Klimaanlage als auch Kühlschrank haben ohne Probleme funktioniert (wir hatten teilweise über 36 Grad). Die Vermieterin war immer schnell ansprechbar und wir haben tolle Tipps bekommen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder. Danke 😀 ---

The apartment is located a short distance from the center and the railway station, yet it is very quiet due to its location in the courtyard. Mrs. Erika is absolutely wonderful, she gives all the information and is willing to help and advise with everything. Thank you!

Recent renovation and nicely styled. Lots of items provided-soap, shampoo, washing powder etc Excellent wifi Airport transfer very convenient for an early flight for 20€ is good value Lido supermarket a short walk away Host is very responsive and will check on you to ensure everything is ok Washing machine NOT included. Have to pay 4.50€ for a rapid 15 min wash or 12€ for a full 1 hour wash-very expensive. Never ever have I come across this before in an apartment with a washing machine included in my 20 years of extensive travel-felt completely ripped off. Would not stay here again for this reason. Breakfast is to the Italian taste-pre packaged sweet items mostly- had to go to the nearby lido to buy breakfast items to supplement what was provided. Are a few of the sweet items at night for dessert. No wine glasses.
• Zeng (10/5): Very good, clean and very helpful host - The location is awesome with only 10 minutes walk to the station and close to a lot of great local restaurants. The mattress and pillows are very comfy and we can tell it is very materials. The facilities and furniture are all new and clean. The host is amazing. Not only gives us a lot of recommendations for restaurants, detailed introduction to the room but also very responsive when we find that we have left some our own stuff in the room when leaving. • George (9/5): A good place to stay in Catania city centre - The room was clean, quiet, had air conditioner, a small kitchen and even a washing machine which could be used for a fee. The bed was comfortable, the internet was fast and stable. The central railway station is 5-7 minutes walking distance, restaurants and supermarkets are only few minutes away. The only thing this cozy place was missing: a window. Our host Erika stayed in contact with us from the beginning till the end of our stay. She helped us with the transfer as well: first her husband, then her father got us from / to the airport. Furthermore, she gave us many good recommendations for places to eat or to visit. We enjoyed our stay also because of her and her family being such nice people. Thank you!
• Justyna (9/5): Superb - The apartment is very clean, cosy, comfortable for 2 guests and in a good location. Apartment is well equipped, there was everything we needed, maybe more storage room would be great to unpack, but it is manageable. The owner is very helpful, recommended many places and was taking a great care of us during our stay, quickly responded to all questions :) Highly recommend this place! The breakfast included pastries, yogurt, cereal, juice, milk, coffee and tea.

• Sue-ken (9/5): Superb - It's a very well furnished apartment with self-catering facilities. The bed is very comfortable. It's set back far from the road and very quiet. Very close up the Central Station and an Alibus stop for the airport. Only about 15 minutes walk to Via Etnea and the nightlife area. There's a Lidl nearby for supplies. A bit of damp small from the laundry closet.

• N.v. (10/5): Exceptional - Walking distance from the train station, the centrum, and the nearby supermarket.The apartment was comfortable and clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The host quickly answered our questions, and recommended great restaurants. We had a nice stay. The breakfast was pre-packed sweets, yoghurt and orange juice, it was okay for us, but it's good to know beforehand.
• Alexgertravel (8/5): Ok stay in downtown Catania. - Location, despite a seedy area, is good, 10 min walk to the center and 10 min to "bus station". Apartment is neat and tidy. Host husband was friendly, though he was not speaking English. There were some prepackaged pastries and juice in refrigerator. Pizza restaurant with outdoor garden seating is next door to the apartment. There are no windows in the room, but I knew about this, not a big problem. They charge guests 15 euro for arrival after 8 pm. I am myself a AirBNB host and never charge guest for this, does not matter what time they arrive. Also, language barrier makes everything a bit complicated. I told them time of flight arrival time to the airport, but they thought that I am going to arrive to apartment at that time, waited for me 30 min and left. And after some waiting, I have to ask neighbors to call the host to resolve entrance problem. Key for the common door to the group of apartments sometimes stuck, so allow some extra time for this.
• Mirabela (10/5): Exceptional - - the host is very nice and helpful - the location is great, near to the city center and the main train station and bus station - they ensure the transfer from the airport and we were able to enter earlier in the room - there are enough towels - the bed is large and very confortable - the appartment is well equipped, included a scissors and even blister/plasters which were very helpful - there were water, juices, sweets and yogurt - at the first sight the appartment is very, very small, but was perfect for what we needed (we visited the isle and arrived late and left early) - there was no insect screen at the door, and there were some mosquitos - there is a closet with souvenirs near bed which looks nice, but I would prefer it to be empty, so I can use the space for my personal things (better to be just shelves)

Erika (the host) is such a nice person, very king and helpful. She took a good care of us. Hope to spend more time in Catania soon.
• Noémi (9/5): Superb - Close to the city center, railway station and the best restaurant ever (L’oste pazzo). It is located in the city center but it was silent and comfortable. The owners are hospitable.

The option that you are picked up or taken to the airport is very convenient. Erica is always happy to help and advise, arranged a real holiday for us. We are very grateful to her!

The apartment is in a central location, close to tourist attractions of Catania, airport bus station and the central railway station. There were some food products left for us. The apartment interior was very nice and clean and included everything you might need during your stay (kitchen utensils, coffee machine, towels, bathroom equipment, a washing machine and laundry rack). I'm really happy we chose this apartment for our stay, everything was perfect! :) -

• Ejaz (9/5): A memorable and pleasant stay at this beautiful apartment. - Good location. We were picked up at the airport by the management and brought to the property. The villa is small and spotless. We were taken round the property and shown how things worked. Continental breakfast was good. Erika and Giuseppe were very considerate and extremely helpful. They provided us all kind of information and assistance when needed even fare leaving this place. They really made our stay so comfortable and pleasant. We would like to thank them for all they did for us.A Nothing to report.
• Kyoko (10/5): The great hospitality - The room is extremely clean and warm, and you can feel that the owner takes good care of this room. The owner was waiting in front of the room when I arrived, so I was very relieved. With a wealth of amenities, information on tourist attractions, and even an umbrella, it was as if a concierge was hiding somewhere in the room. I had to print out my LCC boarding pass, so when I consulted with her, she printed it out and brought it to me when I checked out! Thank you for my endless gratitude! nothing!

• Jiří (10/5): Ideal cosy apartment for 2, close to everything - Cosy nice apartment in the city center, close to bus and train. Calm environment. All the equipment you need and plenty of towels, soaps etc. A lot of sweets for breakfast, could use more salty things.

• Juice69 (10/5): I definitely recommend it, we would have stayed longer! - The apartment is a tiny jewel box, 5 minutes from Catania's central train and bus station, a few hundred meters from the city's main attractions. (Bellini Theater, Fish Market, St. Agatha's Cathedral, Piazza Universita) and via Etnea as one of the city's main pedestrian and shopping streets. 30 meters from the apartment, on the corner of the small square, is Marco's cafe, where the cappuccino is heavenly creamy and the pasta di mandorle is crumbly. There are also two restaurants next to the house, with authentic Italian cuisine, and a small food shop in the other direction. The apartment is newly renovated, the furniture and other furnishings are brand new. The apartment is equipped with everything that two people need, a small kitchen with oven, gas stove, microwave oven, fridge, freezer. There is an automatic washing machine in the laundry room, which allows us to take less clothes with us on the trip. The double bed is huge, comfortable. Ironed, scented towels and shower gel in the bathroom. The apartment does not have a separate window, which may seem unusual at first, but this is normal for old apartments in the old town. The neighbors living in the house are nice. Erika and her husband are very kind, they recommend something to see every day, and they also provide a transfer from the airport if requested. We loved it, thank you Erika!

Inside, there is everything a tourist traveling with the hand luggage needs. In the kitchen - a kettle, a coffee machine with capsules, dishes, coffee, tea, scissors and hygienic slices, water, even an umbrella. Clean and nice bathroom with the shower and the separate room with a washing machine. Very kind hostess, extremely helpful!! And don't be afraid of the surrounding of this apartment. • Lance (9/5): Cute place well located and a good value for the money. - This is a cute apartment located in a convenient location to see the city. The owner is very helpful in offering her suggestions for restaurants, places to see as well as modes of transportation. We also hired her father Giuseppe to pick us up from the airport and he was very kind and helpful in showing us around the place. The pillows are a bit on the hard side and you should know that the water heater turns on and makes noise whenever you run the water or flush the toilet. Otherwise it’s a nice quiet place to stay as it’s set back off of the street.
