• Thomas (10/5): A warm welcome, peace and quiet, a home in the mountains. Wonderful! - We had a marvellous time at the house of Georgaras. We found it a very peaceful, calm, quiet place. We loved the views of the mountains and the sky, the fresh air and wide open space. There is a lovely walk down to the river if you are so inclined. Communication was clear and prompt. We felt well looked after. We appreciated the lettuces, eggs, sweets and other supplies that Kyria Christina gave us, and the warmth of her welcome. She also gave us her spanakopita, the best we have ever had. The house was immaculately presented. It had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable. It felt like home. We could gladly spend more time here.
• Fabien (10/5): - The view is amazing from the living room and the terrace. The house is very comfortable with the central heating. The welcome from the Greek grandma was great! Our host was very helpful in assisting us with a technical issue. Small detail, you need to go through the terrace to go to the kitchen due to the disposition of the house.

The property has a small farm with chickens that the hosts provides for your breakfast. Quiet neighborhood with a wonderful host. Efharisto!
• Pamela (10/5): Unmatched Hospitality and Comfort - This place was perfect for our family of 5. The house had everything we needed and more. The hosts were exceptional. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely kind. We had car trouble, they didn’t hesitate to drive us to the town centre, something we truly appreciated. They also provided fresh eggs from their own hens and a range of breakfast essentials that went far beyond what is normally offered. The shower was honestly the best we’ve experienced in Greece, with consistently hot water and incredible water pressure. The warmth and hospitality extended into the village. The local tavern was extremely welcoming and accommodating, serving delicious food in a wonderful Christmas atmosphere that made our meals feel even more special. Highly recommended.
• Michael (9/5): A very enjoyable holiday in a beautiful location - When we arrived, we found a lot of food in the kitchen, that gave us a warm welcome: Eggs from the own chickens, vegetables from the garden, fresh baked muffins, all you need for the sandwich toast and much more. The kitchen was very well equipped! Unfortunately, the owners do not speak english, but a nice young friend of the family gave us a good advice. During the stay, we had a good communication with their daughter, so that we missed nothing. The view on mountains, forrest and valleys was really nice and could be enjoyed at the terasse The environment was very calm. A lot of space for storing was available in all rooms. Even if the accomodation is not in the center of Tzoumerka, we were able to reach all our destinations without problems. The cupboards in the kitchen could be renewed, but for us it was no problem.

• Ashkenazi (10/5): - Georgaras accommodation is a home away from home. The hosts are very communicative and hospitable. They welcomed us with home made liquor, cake and fresh products from their garden. The house itself is clean and cozy. We were traveling for a few days before arriving to Georgaras, so having a washing machine was a big plus for us. The view from the house is also amazing! Definitely recommend for any family traveling to Tzoumerka

• Anna (10/5): - Piękny grecki domek w stylu rustykalnym z cudownym widokiem. Ogromną jego zaletą są wlasciciele, którzy stworzyli domowy klimat i dbali o nas przez cały 15 dniowy pobyt, w tym częstując nas domowymi, pysznymi przysmakami. Po przyjeździe na miejsce (późnym wieczorem - co nie stanowiło żadnego problemu) dostaliśmy od nich podstawowe produkty na śniadanie (ser, szynka, jajka od kurek biegajacych w ogrodzie czy warzywa z ogródka. Córka Roula była z nami w ciągłym kontakcie telefonicznym i służyła pomocą w każdej sprawie i o każdej porze. Domek jest utrzymany w czystości i z ogromną troską o detale. Posiada dobre WiFi, pralkę, sprzet kuchenny typu toster, opiekacz, grill zewnętrzny itp. Zlokalizowany jest w małej greckiej, górskiej miejscowości, w której znajduje się rownież tawerna z bardzo dobrym jedzeniem (dojazd ok. 2 minut, pieszo ok. 15 minut), prowadzona przez miejscową rodzinę (w niej zjedlismy najlepsze jedzenie w okolicy). Dla nas była to bardzo dobra baza na zwiedzanie Parku Narodowego Tzoumerka, który jest zachwycający, ale również umożliwiała dotarcie do najbliższych plaż (ok. 1,5 godziny) w dni, w których chcieliśmy odpocząć od górskich wędrówek. To był perfekcyjny pobyt wakacyjny. Dziękujemy bardzo właścicielom. A beautiful Greek house in a rustic style with a wonderful view. Its great advantage is the owners, who created a homely atmosphere and took care of us throughout our 15-day stay, including treating us to delicious homemade delicacies. After arriving at the place (late evening - which was no problem) we got basic products for breakfast from them (cheese, ham, eggs from the chickens running in the garden and vegetables from the garden. The Owners' daughter, Roula, was in constant contact with us by phone and was available to help in any matter and at any time. The house is kept clean and with great attention to detail. It has good WiFi, washing machine, kitchen equipment such as a toaster, grill, etc.

• Avihay (10/5): Amazing for relaxation - The scenery is amazing. The hosts were extremely nice and helpful. The also left us eggs laid by their chicken for breakfast and home baked pastries in the kitchen. The house was spotlessly clean. We wished we could stay more and absorb the atmosphere. The beds were a little sqeeking, and the blinds let too much light in
• Stanislav (9/5): Superb - Clean and cozy country house in the mountains with stunning views from the terrace and veranda. The owners live nearby. There is a private parking area, Smart TV, fast Wi-Fi, and barbecue facilities. The house has all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a delightful treat as a bonus. The only downside is that you'll need a car to explore the area, though great hiking routes are just a short drive away.

Location, surroundings, facilities, equipment, food, liquor, attention to detail It is a real monument to hosting In Spain, we have a saying that goes like this "mi casa es tu casa" (make yourself at home). I felt really at home, with a real friend looking after my family and me. The owner was really 100% connected and responsive, before, during, and after our stay. I have never seen someone so caring to make everything perfect. All was fully equipped: bathroom, kitchen, rooms, living room... Even home hen eggs!!! Everybody must take this experience, to understand what is a perfect 10 score!!! Nothing at all Just only nice words

• Celina (10/5): Exceptional - It's a beautiful country house in the mountains with superb views, lovely garden, large rooms, good central heating. The kitchen is fully equiped and we got delicious homemade apple cake, fresh eggs (the chickens are just next to the garden), bread, cheese and ham, so we could have a breakfast in the next morning (which was great since the closest market was already closed). Part of the host family (the parents) live in the house next door and their son who speaks english came to the house to welcome us in and translate. As well as the daughter was in contact through text, and gave us a heads up the the road from the north was closed due roadworks. It's a great place to stay to visit the National Park of Tzoumerka, even in november (Plaka Arched Bridge, Anemotrypa Stalactite Cave, Pramanta and the Holy Kipinas Monastery were the main places we went). Nothing to complain really, just keep in mind that is it a house in the mountains and markets aren't as convenient as in a city.

Lovely hostess offered us an apple cake, juice, home made liqueur, fresh eggs, cheese, and more. Excellent Wi-Fi. Excellent value for money. It's a real country house, so design and facilities are old style, but properly maintained. AC is partially available (not in all rooms). No dishwasher.
• Greta (10/5): The most amazing place to stay in the greek mountains 💜 - Everyone and everything was exceptional! They provided with some sandwiches, eggs from their chickens and grapes, cucumbers, onions and garlic from their garden! There are many different coffee machines and a fully furnished kitchen to cook. We loved the traditional greek house and their terrace near the veggie garden, with the most outstanding mountain view. The wifi worked perfectly and they even offer handmade schnapps/digestives, that were delicious. The peace and silence in a comfy environment and bed, with plenty blankets to beat the mountain coldness was an absolute pleasure. You have air conditioning if you want to use it :) everything was amazing, they waited for us to help us and guide us through the house, explaining everything, they are very attentive and friendly, we could pet cats and enjoy the birds and the chickens roaming around their paddocks, as the bees comes to visit the flowers. I could even do my laundry, which is really helpful. So amazing and we highly recommend this gorgeous place and family 🥰💜💜💜 thanks so so much for all! Not even one complaint.

• Liat (10/5): Feeling like home away from home - A very unique authentic Greek house, surrounded by spectacular view from all sides and having big windows that bring the view inside the house. It has three wide bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need and more, a laundry machine and a beautiful terrace surrounded with flowers. We were welcomed with home made cake, eggs from the family chickens, cheese, home made likure and other small treats that made us feel at home immediately. It is located just 15 minutes from rafting meeting point a At plaka Bridge, close to nature and walking paths. But above all we couldn't thank enough the family that hosted us. During our stay my husband got injured in his eye and had to go to the hospital. Our hosts father took us to the hospital in ioanona, waited with my husband for hours and helped communicating with the staff there and finally brought him back to the house, and he insisted not receiving any money in reward. We don't wish anyone to have such an experience, but if something like this happens to you it better be in such a place where a very caring warm heart local family does every effort to help you. ❤️ We loved everything and will be happy to come back ❤️

• Ian (10/5): Exceptional - What an amazing place. The accommodation is set in the heart of nature, surrounded by lush green mountains and a breathtaking landscape. The accommodation itself is spotlessly clean and impeccably maintained. It is spacious, homely, has three bedrooms and offers fantastic views of the mountains. We received the warmest of welcomes and were given delicious vegetables that were grown on the land around the site as well as home-brewed tsipouro and home-made cookies as well as some sweet sherry. We were only able to stay for a single night, and tried to book a longer stay within a couple of hours of arriving because we loved the place so much but sadly, and understandably, it was already booked up. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful, peaceful and welcoming sanctuary. We really wish we could have stayed longer!

• Tim (10/5): Warm and friendly place with a view at Tzoumerka national park - Despite our late arrival we received a very warm welcome by the friendly hosts. The morning after we noticed the beautiful surroundings and enjoyed the homemade ingredients that came straight out their own garden, with amazing view at Tzoumerka national park. It was for sure our best stay during our holiday and would recommend this place to anybody! Nothing. I would even suggest the location to ask more money, because the value of our stay was two times higher than what we had to pay.

The view from the living room and the terrace leaves you speechless. The hosts were so friendly and nice, they brought us eggs from their hens, cucumbers from their own garden, there was absolutely everything you need and some extras in the kitchen. The bathroom was also fully equipped and clean.

• Mark (10/5): The Sound of Music - This was the most wonderful place in Greece. We stayed with the loveliest hosts who were incredibly friendly, generous, and accomodating. The most clean and spacious place with a view like something from the Sound of Music. Host family are charming, left us olives, meats, cheese, bread, eggs from their chickens, local honey and allowed us to pick fresh lettuce from a beautiful garden below your house. It is a beautiful aesthetic cottage, not an apartment. The hosts brought us fresh strawberries in the morning and even gave us home-prepared olives for us to take on the rest of our trip. Felt like you were staying at a friend's home. Best experience ever, if you visit the region stay here and you will love the people and the place. Fully equipped kitchen, laundry, everything. It had the fastest internet i have experienced in all of Greece and the host had a netflix account set up for the guests to use. You can't be disappointed by this place, I guarantee

But not only had we happened to find a superb mountain area, but we were lucky to choose the most friendly and helpful hosts possible. Everybody should once enjoy this home and feel the warm hospitality of Georgaras family. Parking is in a garage. There are three cosy bedrooms and the kitchen is well-equipped. View from the terrace is spectacular. Nice hiking and biking. -
