Guest Reviews
- Barry (8/5): We are already recommending the site - Seclusion Shower needs updating for a more better system
- Emma (9/5): Amazingly peaceful glamp - Peaceful, secluded, self-contained. All details from host were detailed and very helpful.
Loved the hot tub which only took an hour to heat from cold and retained its heat all night. Loved watching the planes circling from Duxford.
We wanted a quiet, relaxing weekend and that is exactly what we got. We BBQd and chilled out in the hot tub. The bed was very comfortable.
Pretty much everything had been considered and catered for.
A really lovely little spot. The flooring is a little tired round the edges, some is chipped and some planks have lifted a little.
The one dog bowl was filthy, so lucky we tool our own and I feel that the ÂŁ50 pet fee for 2 nights is really excessive considering our dog was outside the whole time as it was so hot and it was dry, so no real cleaning to do for the dog as no muddy foot prints.
- Nicola (10/5): Breathtaking - Beautiful place with modern comforts and the bed was the best. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend 👌
- Emily (6/5): Pleasant -
- Emma (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michelle (5/5): Not what we expected…. - The location, beautiful. The bathroom is open at the top all the way around, so not private (if you go with a friend!). The door kept sliding off the rollers/hinge.
The bbq was not the brick fire place as displayed on advert, it was a rusty cheap kettle bbq chained to a tree.
There was nowhere to sit comfortably in the pod, i.e bean bags, just the bed.
Limited space to hang clothes (not great when soaking wet).
It cost a lot to run a bbq, hot tub & log burner for chilly nights - you are looking at ÂŁ14 a bag that lasts 3-4 hours a day at a stretch. You have to travel out to the garage 2 miles down the road to stock up on the wood (not re-stocked by the hosts as advertised).
If you go and you have cold nights, please note the heater advertised, is not available in May - not stated in the advert.
- Chris (9/5): Superb - Location was perfect and the peacefulness Facilities and how quiet it was
- Darcie (10/5): Amazing if I could rate it more than 5 it’d be 100! - the whole experience was amazing I didn’t want to leave I could’ve of just moved in and lived there listening to the birds chirping and watching the deers it was just genuinely so relaxing and peaceful I will definitely be coming back!
- Karla (9/5): Well worth the money just a shame that check in and check out times - I like how the property is unique and that you are in your own private section.
I love the hot tub and the fact they offered games and the idea of the projector.
I would definitely recommend for a lovely couples get away and I would stay again. The projector didn’t work which was ashame as we were looking forward to a movie night. The plug it came with was loose so it wouldn’t connect to the phone properly. You don’t get much logs for the tub, it’s takes a lot of logs to get it warm and you have to pay extra for more so it’s almost like you don’t have a choice but to buy them.
It’s not really worth staying one night as check in is so late (4pm) so by the time you want to enjoy the tub it’s cold outside. Then check out is at 10am so you don’t really get a full experience as you are checking in early evening and checking out early. However I did ask for earlier check in and later check out and the hosts did accommodate which was lovely.
- Chelsea (10/5): Exceptional - The dome and hot tube The protector didnt work
- Abdulla (9/5): Superb -
- Kenan (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely property misses was over the moon.

- Sienna (9/5): Superb -
- Harris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Keyes (3/5): Poor - Hosts were nice and helped when we had issues
with the cooker. Little touches inside the tent we're cute. It was just freezing cold.
Obviously, it's January... but with two heaters and a fire going, it just wouldn't warm up substantially. We could see our breath. The hot tub didn't get hot despite heating it for an entire day. The shower barely gave 5mins of hot water. The bathroom door kept coming off its slider hinge, so we had to use the facilities with the door open.
It's just not habitable in January and shouldn't be online. It was super disappointing. Could not get the projector screen to work either despite trying various devices.
- Aris (3/5): Great property, great host but not well equipped for winter. - The location was great, and the property/dome was fantastic. There was a big backyard which was a bonus and it also felt very secure. The owner/host was super responsive, and he accommodated an early check in. Very polite and professional. We were supposed to stay for a ’night however unfortunately we ended up not sleeping over, we returned home the same night.
1. There were hair on the duvet/pillow cases and they looked dirty so we decided to go buy our own covers.
2. The biggest issue which made us not stay was the fact that it was extremely cold inside the dome. There was main stove which we had on for several hours but couldn’t heat the space as it is quite big and it was very cold. There was an additional electric heater which could be added with extra charge but it was very ineffective as it was very small.
A little after midnight when we had used 2/3 of the wood and we were still freezing inside, we decided that it was impossible to get through the night so unfortunately we left which wasn’t the desired end to our journey.
- Carey (7/5): Good - Location was amazing, privacy quiet, close enough to village for a stroll to local pub/restaurant
Hot tub Bed very comfortable Log burner a necessity in winter stays. Would return but in the warmer months Under floor heating would have been great in the shower area. A toaster and microwave would have been good as we stayed there in December and cooking outside was out of the question A light in kitchenette area would also help in the darker days
- Nyasha (8/5): Very good - The hosts are friendly and welcoming and they value the clients' privacy. We had a challenge with the electric heater and got a substitute immediately, the boiler was on point, enjoyed the hot showers . Acknowledged the provision of the projector which made it more interesting to watch movies . The place was clean and the kitchen had enough utensils to use. The instructions in the booklet to use the hot tub ,stove and other amenities were clear. Overally enjoyed the stay and would really come back in future. We struggled to locate the place, probably a large billboard on the entrance to the pathway that leads to the gate would do. We actually passed through twice but could not see the right turn, so a board there would really make a difference. The hosts however did assist with directing when we called.
- Charlie (10/5): Amazing weekend getaway! - Amazing place, very clean and tidy. Beautiful surroundings. Loved the hot tub and log burner made our stay warm and cosy. Projector was a lovely touch. Antony and Lucia are great hosts and very quick to respond to any questions. Nothing
- Anthony (10/5): Absolutely perfect - Privacy, cosy, such a lovely place
- Kristne (9/5): Relaxing , peaceful , comfortable. - Exceptionally comfortable and wonderfully relaxing. The view through the dome window feels straight out of a storybook, transporting you into an enchanting woodland. It’s a perfect blend of comfort and magic. Soaking in a hot tub under the stars is an unforgettable experience, adding to the sense of serenity and wonder. It’s located on the edge of a housing estate. While the area is peaceful and quiet, it does feel somewhat overlooked, and it’s not as remote as the pictures might suggest.
Access is through an automatic gate that opens from inside when you’re in a car. However, we couldn’t find a way to open it easily on foot and had to climb the gate to enter the security code from the outside.
Wood for the hot tub and indoor fire is not conveniently provided. When we arrived, there was kindling and about eight pieces of wood provided. There’s an additional supply outside, but it’s charged and not good value for money. To avoid extra costs, I’d recommend bringing plenty of wood with you.
- Sara (9/5): Enjoyable - The bed was a creaky and a little bit soft
- Shubham (6/5): Pleasant - The ambience was good. The value for money was lacking and the costing was very high for what was offered.
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (9/5): Superb -
- Keeley (9/5): Superb -
- Ana (9/5): Superb - We had an awesome two nights stay. Quite place, very nice and organised place. We do not see any people around for all two days. Mrs Lucia is very friendly and helpful.
100% our couple recommendations
- Marlon (8/5): Very good -
- Hayley (9/5): Relaxing, enjoyable - Very comfy bed, got everything we needed. Great value for money. You do need a car to get places really. Nice for a chilled break though.
- Kiran (10/5): Exceptional - Such a wonderful experience I highly recommend it! The location was lovely and peaceful and the dome itself has its own little area closed off with the hot tub and a firepit/ bbq area with a table and chairs. If you want a peaceful, romantic escape this is the perfect place. There is a basket full of games and books and a projector for you to enjoy. Everything was easy to set up and especially with the great instruction manual provided. I even managed to start a log fire with the instructions provided and if you don't wish to do this you can hire the electric heater. The little touches were amazing and you can tell alot of Love and Care has gone in to creating this haven. I am beyond happy I found this place and will definitely be going back! Nothing it was perfect
- Deborah (5/5): If looking for total tranquility and seclusion then it’s not for you. - Really different experience from the usual glamping in a tent or tepee . It was good however looked a little worn and tired inside. The photos shown on booking.com are also rather deceptive in that behind the dome is an estate of houses and it is not as it appears in the middle of nowhere.
- Megan (8/5): A quiet, cosy break ❤️ - The bed was so comfortable, I had the most refreshing sleep ever, the location had a quiet, cosy feeling to it which was lovely. It was very clean & had everything you needed.
We spent our morning at Shepreth Wildlife Park and absolutely loved it. We went into the city centre and enjoyed our day thoroughly, I’d highly recommend doing both. The shower went freezing cold half way through our shower and didn’t warm up that night, you get 8 minutes of hot water but we weren’t in for more than a minute when it went cold. It took more than 4 hours for the hot tub to heat up, and even still it wasn’t warm enough to sit and enjoy it. We understand this happens as it’s a log burning hot tub however there wasn’t much improvement as time went on. This did not impact our stay negatively but it was slightly frustrating as you pay the money to have use of the hot tub during the stay and it felt like we didn’t get 100% value for money in that respect.
Maybe we should have paid the extra money for more wood and started heating it up earlier than we did, I don’t know. This isn’t a negative review and I would most certainly recommend going to my friends and family. It’s just nice to be as honest as you can be when reviewing places like this, especially for future customers.
All in all, we enjoyed our little break away.
Thank you so much.
- Paul (10/5): A fantastic break from reality. - It was amazingly well equipped, the project was a fantastic addition especially watching the england football match, and the bed was just so comfortable. The hot tub was easy to use and cooking on the BBQ for all meals was awesome. Nothing
- Bethany (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jasmin (9/5): Superb - Great facilities , hot tub , hammock, bbq , projector, wood burner. Great place to stay felt very private too! Struggled with the projector one of the cables sempt a bit broken but still thoughtfully enjoyed the stay
- Samuel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - The dome was just beautiful. Very well thought off, had everything you needed for a wholesome night away. Antony was extremely helpful, responded very quickly to any enquiries I had.
- Andrew (10/5): it was just what we needed, we will be back - location was perfect , lovely quiet., just what we needed for our weekend away There was nothing that we did not like
- Tim (8/5): Had a lovely birthday weekend away from the world and relaxing in a peaceful spot - In a nice location away from anyone and we was perfectly alone just like we wanted l Couldn’t get the projector to work at all we ended up spending 3 hours trying to watch YouTube but with no Luck
- Natalie (7/5): Good - No light above the kitchen area and not enough plug sockets available
- Jonathan (10/5): Beautiful area and perfect accommodation - Stunning views and a great local amenities! We didn't want to leave!
- Brandon (8/5): Very good -
- Olivia (10/5): Definitely well worth the money and we had the best weekend away. - The facilities and location were great. Having the inside shower-room and the kitchenette was so well equipped. We asked for the heater and within 2 minutes we had it. Cannot fault. Was all amazing cannot fault it at all, only suggestion would be is to take an extension cable, there was one there with 2 extra sockets but would suggest another if you have a few things to plug in.
- Lizzie (9/5): Lovely quiet get away - The quiet area and it was very spacious Not that we didn’t like it but it was too cold to use the hot tub, we had the fire going for 4 hours and run out of wood so it never got warm enough to get in which would have been nice to use
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Amy (9/5): Perfect break away, thank you. - Perfect little break away, clean, comfortable and completly private. Bus stop near to get into the city or park and ride only 15minute drive away. Would recommend taking extra logs as we run out and it did get a little cold.
- Lorna (10/5): Excent stay will book again. - Very quite and fantastic hosts. Nothing
- Carlo (10/5): Lovely escape! - Great privacy, clean and high quality facilities and very comfortable. A small heater for when you can’t use the log burner whilst sleeping might be nice for colder nights.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
