• Donna (10/5): Our 9th stay at what we call Our Happy Place - My mother and I first stayed in this apartment in Sept 2019. We have just had our 9th stay - we like everything! The location could not be better. You can walk easily to all the main sites but it’s a great base for wandering and exploring too. There’s also bus stops nearby. The facilities in the apartment cover everything we need. The hosts are lovely and will do everything they can to ensure you have a great stay. It also has the best balcony in Piazza Navona to sit and watch everything that is going on there. We would never want to stay anywhere else in Rome.

• Cara (9/5): Perfetto! - The location is fantastic and a perfect central location to explore Rome like a Roman. Daniela is WONDERFUL. She made my boys feel so welcome and she’s such a lovely/warm soul. She and her sisters (?) work at the tabacchi in the piazza and we would stop in to say hi and they were just always so lovely! And they will store your luggage if you’re there a bit early or have a slightly later departure! N/A

• Betsy (10/5): Appartmento Benincampi is my new go-to for accommodations in Rome. - The apartment was ideal for us. Fabulous location for all the top sites in Rome. Spacious and home comfort suitable for our family of four that had both old world charm and modern amenities. And topping it off, wonderful host who graciously accommodated our late night arrival and early departure.
• Melanie (3/5): Great location, but subpar accommodation. - The apartment is in an outstanding location. The bathroom was a problem. Every time we took a shower, the floor flooded. We were only given a few towels to dry off with, so had no way to take care of the floor. The dishes are located in the living area far away from the kitchen. It is located up a narrow and steep staircase. I did not have to carry up the luggage because the woman who rents the place carried it for me. That was awkward. I would’ve appreciated having a coffee table or end tables to put a drink down when sitting in the living room.

• Lorraine (10/5): We will be back! Exactly as described! - Beautiful terrace onto the Piazza Navona. Many great restaurants and shopping nearby and also the hop on hop off bus isn’t far away. Nice rooms, nice bathroom. Felt very secure. The woman who let us In is In the store you see in the pictures and she was very nice and helpful.

Whilst warned the bed was hard, I had no issues and slept really well. The air conditioning was much appreciated and the bathroom & kitchen were both excellent for what I needed. • Ciprian (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is perfectly located in Navona Square, overlooking the fountains from the lovely (yet small) balcony. You can walk to all attractions. There is a small bedroom, a lovely living room (with a full size hidden bed), a small kitchen and a very nice bathroom. You get all you need, even coffee and tea for the mornings looking at the square waking up. Please note that the square is very busy, there will be some noise in the morning (when garbage is collected), and also the terraces will be opened in the evening (but we had no issues with that).

Everything you could need in the apartment including hairdryer, umbrellas, plug adapters, posh espresso machine! The owners also let us keep our bags in the shop until we needed to leave for the airport. Nothing, it was perfect!

The apartment is a period style property with the basic modcons (AC, Hob, Frodge, Wi-Fi, etc) The mattress on the second bed could be upgraded but it’s the only negative o can think of
• Arthur (8/5): This was a nice place to recover from the hot days and endless walking. - The host (Fabio) and his sisters were very accommodating and a pleasure to meet. The apartment is centrally located and within walking distance to major sites. For instance the Vatican and Colosseum were about 33-35 min walk. The Pantheon (5 min) Trevi fountain (7 min) after that and the Spanish Steps about a 10 min walk soon after. The apartment is also less than a block away from the main Taxi stand and about a two blocks to the bus stops. The apartment has AC in the main living room and the bedroom. There is also plenty of shopping, food and gelato stands just steps from the apartment. And if you have kids looking for some comfort food there is a McDonalds just a few yards from the apartment Cons: The shower is modern but not a good size. I am 5'10 225 and it was cramped. The apartment is located between two restaurants which stay open until 1-2am. So getting sleep before that time will require ear buds. Right now there is construction every place in preparation for Jubilee. So the fountains in the Piazza Navona are covered up.

• Gizella (10/5): Absolutely one of the more unforgettable apartments we've stayed in in Europe! - The location of the apartment was the best you could find in Rome! It is at the center of Piazza Navona with a charming balcony overlooking it! It is definitely very convenient as it is near many great restaurants, shops and some great spots to visit by foot. The apartment itself is just enough space for 4 people, with a separate bedroom, plus a pull out bed, and even a couple of sofas. The kitchen is well stocked, the bathroom has some items to use (best to bring additional shampoo and toothbrush/ toothpaste). Everything was exceptionally clean! The best part of this stay was actually the hosts - Daniella, Fabio and Laura were very hospitable, friendly and generous. They allowed us to leave our luggage when we checked out in the morning as we had some more time to go around the city. We cannot imagine staying anywhere else if we go back to Rome. You will have the most pleasant experience with this property! none! everything was perfect!

It was incredibly clean, spacious and comfortable, and the view from the balcony looked straight onto Piazza Navona. We loved sitting there each morning for breakfast and at night with a glass of wine, listening to the music, people watching and absorbing the lively atmosphere. It was amazing! Our host (Fabio) was very helpful and made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend Appartmento Benincampi, and we will definitely stay here again when we visit beautiful Roma.

The apartment has everything we need for a very comfortable stay, but there’s 3 things that make this apartment truly amazing:- The hosts - so welcoming and helpful. It is clear they want you to have the best time. They run the shop below the apartment too. The location which is so central that we can walk everywhere we want to go. That balcony - nothing better than sitting there with a Prosecco at night, people watching. We can’t wait for our next stay.
• Sarah (10/5): Perfect home away from home in Rome with one of the world’s best views. - Amazing view of Piazza Navona looking straight across at the beautiful church of St Agnese in Agone and over Bernini’s incredible fountain. It was hard to peel ourselves away from it! The apartment is very well-equipped and supremely well-located. We had a very warm welcome from Daniela and Fabio and Laura.
