• Pascal (10/5): Voortreffelijk: verzorgde appartementen op een mooie locatie - Alles was voortreffelijk! Wij huurden de beide appartementen met 2 gezinnen. De appartementen zijn met smaak en oog voor detail ingericht. We hadden alles voorhanden (kook- en wasgerief). De bedden waren ruim en heel comfortabel. De badkamer was ook ruim en met een heerlijke douche. We hadden warm weer en hebben dus ontzettend genoten van het zwembad. De eigenaars waren heel vriendelijk en gaven ons praktische tips voor onze daguitstappen. Bedankt voor jullie warme ontvangst, Bego en Pedro! Absoluut niets!
• Bernard (8/5): Heerlijk verblijf in een prettig appartement - Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren, wonen ook op het terrein. Het terrein wordt dmv een omheining met een deur afgeschermd. Functioneel appartement, fijne bedden. Ook de slaapbank lag heerlijk. Kleine maar fucntionele keuken waar ook wat koffie, thee, wat lekkers en wat fruit klaar lag. Halverwege de week ook nog schone handdoeken. Supermarkten op 15 minuten rijden met de auto In de directe omgeving was niet veel, had een auto nodig om uit eten te gaan ed. Het zwemwater was vrij koud. Buitentemp was 23 graden dus afkoelen was niet nodig:)
• Maik (10/5): - Die Besitzer waren sehr herzlich und fürsorglich. Die zwei Pools in der Unterkunft konnten wir immer allein nutzen. Es war sehr ruhig und idyllisch und wir hatten eine tolle Aussicht.
• Mariam (9/5): Super hosts en prachtig omgeving - De hosts zijn werkelijk zo attent, aardig en behulpzaam! Het huisje was super schoon en alle faciliteiten waren top! De omgeving is prachtig. We wandelden iedere ochtend en konden niet genoeg krijgen van de mooie natuur en de mooie kliffen. Zwembad is kleiner dan verwacht. Onze kinderen van 14 en 11 hebben niet gezwommen. Zij hebben liever een groter zwembad. Maar voor jongere kindjes is dit echt perfect!

• Ahmed (10/5): Excellent. Will return definitely. - Excellent hosts. Very welcoming and informative. Nice accommodation with nice view and garden. Kitchen is stocked up with everything you could require. Tram stop is half an hour walk away. Indoor pool is cold so kid could not swim.
• Katharina (6/5): Apartment has no private pool!! Pictures are misleading! - The apartment is newly renovated and especially the bathroom is new. The location is nice. The apartment has NO private pool!! The pictures are very misleading and the price is way too high for that! The pool, which is very cold, is around the house, shared by both apartments and the owners who can oversee all the outside are (also the terrace) from their apartment. We were disappointed.
• Kate (9/5): Thank you for a wonderful week - We had a lovely and restful stay at Pedro and Bego's beautiful apartment. The apartment was spotlessly clean, wonderfully and tastefully furnished and had all that you could need for a stay. The swimming pool was a welcome addition, which we were fortunate enough to have private use of during our stay (there is a second apartment, which was empty). The location was so peaceful and the bed the comfiest I've slept in for a while - we definitely caught up on our sleep! Overall a fantastic apartment with very welcoming and gracious hosts - I would highly recommend. The peaceful location did mean that there wasn't a great deal to do in the immediate vicinity, especially with children, but it's only a 30 minute drive from Bilbao and just over an hour from San Sabastien, so definitely not an issue if you hire a car.

• Sara (10/5): Highly recommended Barrika holiday apartment - Pedro and Begoña are exceptional hosts. They were friendly, helpful and caring that we had a great holiday. The apartment is well equipped, and we enjoyed both pools daily. There is no food shopping (other than for basics) closer than 30 mins walk away in Pletzia. A car is not essential, but definitely helps.

• Solange (10/5): Wel designed comfortable appt at the beach side - The appartement is very comfortable and well designed. There was enough space for the three of us and the airco was a blessing to sleep well at night. Barrika is a calm neighborhood, not far from Bilbao, accesible also with public transport if you do not want to take your car to the city. You can walk to the beach or visit the beach at Plentzia, only 10 minutes drive. The swimming pool is fresh and we enjoyed both options almost every day. We could swim even at night, as the temperature allows it. Begoña and Pedro are lovely hosts, making sure we had all we needed and giving us tips from plces to visiti to fine restaurants close to the accomodation. This is certainly a place to visit again in the future.
