• Helen (9/5): A great option in the city to visit Chikkmagalur! - The homestay is conveniently located in the city, a short auto ride to the bus station and walkable to the excellent evening food market and some great breakfast restaurants. Savitha was very helpful in arranging an auto to visit the area (especially when things didn't go to plan) and providing advice and suggestions about what to visit. My room was very clean and comfortable, with plenty of hot water for showers. Not having my own transport I chose to stay in the city, but just be aware it is quite a distance from the beautiful scenery and coffee plantations and you will need to hire an auto/ scooter to visit if you don't have your own car. The homestay has a lot of birds which do make a lot of noise in the morning.

The rooms were very neat, clean, and well-maintained, and the washroom was also spotless, which made our stay even more comfortable. The host was very welcoming, attentive, and ensured everything was perfect throughout our visit. Overall, a truly pleasant experience and we would definitely recommend this property to others.

She sent us restaurant recommendations during check-in.The place has a nice view from the terrace and lines for drying clothes. The host helped us get an auto at the doorstep on request. There were some minor disturbances from mosque nearby but not for long. Overall it's a silent neighborhood.

The room, bed and bathroom were maintained clean to our expectation. The location itself is in the residential area, close to the city centre with all kinds of restaurants within the proximity. The host was very welcoming and ensured we were comfortable through out our stay. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and comfortable home away from home.
