- Norm (10/5): Feel at home in Beechworth - Beautiful accommodation in what was once the old bank mews. Surrounded by lovely gardens and trees. Stylishly finished interiors with a Japanese theme. In the centre of town with a walk to shops, cafes and the historical quarter. Restaurant was closed when we were there but we had an excellent meal at Tanswell's Commercial Hotel down the main road. Parking was limited, but we were able to secure a spot on the premises. Check in was easy although we didn't see or need to see the owners. Would have liked to stay longer.

Set in picturesque Beechworth, surrounded by lovely gardens. Old wold charm with highly finished interiors in the taste of the time. Intimate setting with only 4 rooms, offered complete privacy. Felt like it was ours. In center of town - walk to everything. Only sorry the restaurant was closed (Tuesdays) but local pizza joint makes awesome Pizza. Local bakery is top notch for breakky. Plenty of other dining options. Nothing

We were very comfortable in our apartment, which was spacious , clean and very relaxing especially the huge bed and bathroom, the relaxing balcony and gorgeous gardens. The proximity to town was a bonus. There is nothing I can think of that would have improved our stay.

- Rachel (8/5): Despite the rudeness of the staff the hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. - The gardens and the rooms were beautiful and spacious. The rudeness of the staff. He was impolite on the phone and criticised me for booking through booking.com and not directly with the hotel. Despite arriving Xmas eve theee was no warm welcome, the restaurant closed, and no breakfast that was supposed to be provided Xmas day . Every interaction we had was unpleasant.

- Mel (10/5): The photos don’t do this property justice - a perfect place to stay in Beechworth! - It was super cozy and just perfect for a weekend stay! Great location and well maintained gardens. Even though the restaurant was closed for our stay it would have still been nice to have received the breakfast hamper.
- Katrin (10/5): A perfect stay for a special weekend. - Amazing short stay. Breakfast in the room was superb (we ate out on the deck in the morning sunshine), the room was super comfortable and clean with lovely small touches. All was perfect
- Wade (10/5): An exceptional stay that we have already begun to recommend to family and friends. - Every attention to comfort was provided for. We have stayed at a number of luxury locations over the years and this stood out as exceptional. The location was ideal, the room beautifully appointed and the little touches such as the fresh teas, coffee and outstanding food pushed it up to ne of our favourite stays. The parking was, as others have mentioned, however there was no shortage of street parking out front of the accomodation. Michael’s food was worth the 5 hour drive, with the dining experience introducing us to flavour combinations we have never considered. We definitely recommend to all.
- Gabrielle (9/5): Superb facilities. I had the best sleep in years. - Ground floor, exceptionally quiet room. Spacious, amazing coffee and leaf tea supplies. A quiet fridge!! I had the best sleep
In years. I’m
Not kidding. I wished the restaurant had been open. I had to park on the street.
- Jennifer (9/5): - In room breakfast is great.
Very peaceful and relaxing stay. Wish there was more parking on site
- Natalie (8/5): - The room and location were subperb. The local produce for breakfast was soo good. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic. Having people stay above us, the noise early in the morning wasn't ideal when wanting a sleep in while away from the kids, but not a big deal

- Erena (9/5): You get what you pay for. - Walking distance to everything in town. Lots of thought gone into ensuring you didn’t need anything. Car parking. There are two car spaces available and first in first get but the room next door took both and would not move so we had to park in the street. Not the owners problem as they were very clear.
