Guest Reviews
- Isabel (10/5): Beautiful home with great value for the price - Incredibly peaceful home, comfortable, tidy, and kitchen was well equipped with cooking tools, tea, coffee, and breakfast. Host was attentive and flexible with my arrival time.
- Guest (8/5): It was a good value option on the day - Great location - close to where I had to be Breakfast was poor and very basic. There was no coffee. I feel fresh coffee could have been made.
- Guest (9/5): - I arrived with a puncture and the hosts were extremely helpful and immediately tried to repair it which wasn't possible. They then helped me to organise someone to call out and get the car fixed. They made sure I was okay and the car properly fixed before I left the next day. Thanks so much for all your kindness and support!
Other guests who stayed at the same time kindly drove me into town so I could get some food and made sure I was okay.
Overall it was a great experience and I left feeling reassured that there still is a lot of kindness and helpfulness out there in the world. :-)
- Sabine (4/5): - Rien L’accueil, le froid dans la maison (manque de chauffage). Pas de téléviseur en français. Une salle de bains pour 3 chambres .
- Laura (10/5): -
- Guest (1/5): Did not stay was not suitable - Did not stay because it was in the middle of no where and did not get answer when knocked on door. There was a car in drive but no answer
- Mbongeni L N (10/5): -
- Kristina (10/5): - Die Küche hat alles Nötigste. Nicht weit weg ist ein Lidl (5 Minuten mit dem Auto). Das Bett ist sehr bequem. Guter Blick
- syuleyman (1/5): - I don’t find place also I don’t receive my refund €90 0000
- Javier (2/5): - Sabanas viejas, con mal olor
- Cynthia (9/5): Convenient to Graiguenamanagh in a beautiful setting. - We have stayed here before. The hosts are kind and helpful. It is a very short drive to Graiguenamanagh. The kitchen and sitting areas are spacious and open to use. The bathroom is shared as stipulated but spotless and well stocked. The bed was very comfortable I am not a great sleeper at the best of times, but a dog barking all night on this occasion was not helping. Perhaps it is a puppy that will grow quieter. It had not occurred on a previous visit, so this may have been an exception. Otherwise it is in a beautiful area and very good value.

Tiere vom Hof. Etwas hellhörig.
- Sch. (10/5): - Sehr ruhige Lage. Nebenan gab es noch ein Pferdehof.
- Benny (4/5): Disappointing -
- Anonymous (5/5): Stunning location. Bit far from the town for us . - Beautiful location. Nicola is a lovely lady .The house is spotless. Comfortable rooms .
Lovely quite spot to relax . Didn't like having to share the bathroom as there were 5 of us on the second night . Also we would have liked more privacy. One of the guests helped himself to our food and drinks . We felt a bit uncomfortable with him there . Wouldn't go back for that reason.
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional - Ideal location, peaceful with lovely views. Hosts fab and gave us great advice re restaurants etc.9
- O'sullivan (8/5): Very good -

- Frank (9/5): Overall stay was great and would have no problem in going back again. - Location is in a quiet area on a narrow road but easy to find. We had our own room and house key and shared kitchen and bathroom with other guests. Other guests who stayed on one of the nights played loud music outside until late hours while they were drinking wine. The didn't tidy the place after they were finished. Host need to erect sign stop music after 11.00pm.
- Doyle (8/5): Very good -
- Finntan (9/5): Excellent hosts, happy to chat and advise on local options. - Nice walk into the town Taxi back in evening was a bit on the expensive side

- Tony (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gabriela (9/5): Overnight stay in the Borris- Graiguenamanagh area - Nice room in a house not far from Graiguenamanagh. Excellent bed.
We went to the Festival of Writing and Ideas in Borris House and we were quite late checking in. We were grateful for the host's kind understanding. No negatives.
- Margaret (8/5): Very good - The location was great - loved it. Nicola was lovely and very welcoming - made you feel at home. The bed was comfy, and the facilities were fine. I have no complaints.
- Patrick (8/5): Very good -
- Hayden (9/5): It fitted the Bill precisely - It was exactly what we expected All of the above
- Jennifer (6/5): Pleasant - Beds were super comfortable and we were able to have separate rooms for the boys which was nice. The house was very cold, once we were in bed it was fine. It was also a fair distance from Kilkenny which we didn't take into account when we booked.
- Mary (5/5): I was very cold throughout the night - Breakfast was not required.
Kitchen was very good.
Location satisfied my requirements
Welcome by the owner. Heat- the room was very cold.
Bathroom facilities: I was unaware that the bathroom was communal.
TV- I thought it was located in my bedroom and not a living room.
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable room. Nothing
- Tom (9/5): Superb -
- Parr (10/5): Lovely place to stay - Quiet but easy to mix with host and hostess and other guests

- Mario (10/5): All in all very good experience with free basic breakfast. - Our owners were very welcoming, we visited the stables with horses. Not enough privacy and shared bathroom
- Mahove (7/5): Beautiful place - Try and make place a bit warm and add more blankets.otherwise it was ok Just it was cold
- Angel (5/5): Passable -

- Niamh (5/5): Passable -
- Tonina (10/5): Exceptional - It was perfect hosting,
Clean,comfortable,quality
My little one loves to be there and feels like he is at home .
we had a walk around the horse barn and had a great time
- Mary (2/5): Very poor - Nice location When we met the owner first we were greeted with abruptness from her, and we were not made to feel welcome. her attitude towards us improved shortly afterwards but we could not get comfortable , we felt like we were imposing in their home. We left early the next morning without getting breakfast as we felt too uncomfortable to use the kitchen
- Geraldine (8/5): Very good -
- Galbraith (8/5): Very good - Very friendly host who made us most welcome
- John (8/5): a quiet country house - friendly, clean, comfortable no TV or on suite
- David (10/5): Excellent. - Friendly and engaging couple who are very welcoming. The house is set in wonderful surroundings with stunning views. All the modern conveniences including fast wifi. Not too far from the nice town of Graiguenamanagh but at the same time very secluded.
- Fitzgerald (1/5): Bad - I'm requesting a full refund. I arrived at the house at 2pm and couldn't find anyone to assist check in, nor was I supplied with a code to gain access. I was very stuck and actually had to sleep in my car. A horrible experience.
Please refund my account in full ASAP or I will pursue this and give a full account of my experience on the various platforms online.
- Eugene (10/5): Wonderful hosts, gorgeous scenery, beautiful horses, biggest bang for your buck!! - Lovely hosts, Eamon and Nicola! We had the treat of being on a property with thoroughbreds! The owner took us up to the hill to watch the riders while they train their horses with the emerald patchwork of Graiguenamanagh in the background, breathtaking! The shared bathroom was not a problem at all and we had wonderful fellow boarders who were kind and respectful. You absolutely must stay at this BnB, biggest bang for the buck! Dingo, their little dog, was the sweetest little guy in all of Ireland! I wanted to take him home. Nothing!
- Bridget (10/5): We could have stayed for weeks as it felt like home - Utterly charming and scenic
- Lee (10/5): Perfect place for a getaway - Loverly location, very clean, very friendly host, perfect in every way. Nothing
- Susan (4/5): Disappointing - The place was nice, but you need a car, as not accessible by public transport. So either a 20 min walk to nearest village on a very
Windy single lane with no pavement so not good to walk.only 2 buses daily or very expensive taxi. No breakfast just croissants so not good value . Lack of information about where it is situated, so lt needs to be made clear to tourists. Its really not accessible without own car.no breakfast .
- Nicola (8/5): Interesting experience. - People very warm and kind. The owner spent time with me showing horse stables, training tracks, explaing horse training details. The kitchen was available, and the lady helped us to spend our time there, at the best, suggesting a great beach to go for example. If I've to find a limit is the position: fanstastic if you like the Nature, not very close to Kilkanny if it's your target. Nothing else indeed.
- Phillip (7/5): Good -
- Santiago (8/5): Very good - The room is OK, everything is clean and the owner is fantàstic. The bathroom is shared and it's not clear when you book. This is not really a problem, but I think they should write it clear when you book the room.
- Kelly (8/5): Lovely stay with great hosts - Hosts were great
- Liam (10/5): Very beautiful home with amazing hosts - Excellent location very close to Graiguenamana, got a chance to see some beautiful race horses close to the property, excellent hosts.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful countryside surroundings...Eamon is a horse trainer and is happy to show guests the horses and the care he takes looking after them.. I couldn't find anything that I didn't like.

- Séighin (10/5): Exceptional - Great value for money in a quiet scenic location. Very friendly host, with use of kitchen and living room. Comfortable room with a spacious bathroom just down the hall. Everything was great.
- Patrick (8/5): Very good - Very friendly great hosts nothing was a problem showed us where to go what places to visit had the run of the whole house great value going back there again
- Andries (8/5): Very good - That it is in a beautiful part of Ireland that not many travellers will stumble upon. It cost a bit more but I had a private room with a double bed. It was nice and clean. The host Nichola was super friendly and helpful, made me feel right at home. There was a bathroom to share and if you had to go, there might have been someone else in.
- Elaine (10/5): Exceptional - Very welcoming with offer of refreshments. Room, clean ND comfortable. Lovely location and the special treat of a tour of the Stables. Thankyou Nicola

- John (10/5): Excellent location, really friendly hosts and great accommodation. - The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the horse stud farm was great to take a look at and very interesting, especially if you are bringing kids on your stay. A great atmosphere at the property as well and a nice location. I would certainly stay here again.
- Lyndesay (10/5): Glorious Graiguenamanagh - Lovely hosts who were very accommodating. We were greeted with Tea, Coffee and biscuits on arrival. We stayed in a large spacious room which had a large double and single bed. The bed and pillows were very comfy which resulted in a perfect nights sleep. We had a choice of Cereal, toast, fruit, croissants and cereal bars for breakfast which was an added bonus. There was a selection of toiletries and a hairdryer available if needed. Beautiful surrounding views in a quiet location makes it a perfect place for a getaway. We were also able to go and see the horses which was great!. Many thanks for having us. We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and can't wait to return! Nothing!

- Nataliia (6/5): Pleasant -
- Anthony (10/5): A great place to stay - Both were good lovely hosts Nothing to complain about
- Geesing (10/5): Go find out yourself, you'll be amazed! - Actually, I don't want to write a review because it feels like a little secret place I don't want to be ruined. But I still think the man who welcomed us, and all the other people we met, deserves at least a great compliment. Go find out yourself what this place will bring you, you'll be amazed! (tip: wake up early)
- Thomas (8/5): Very good -
- Nicole (2/5): Very poor -
- Grzegorz (8/5): Very good - Quite area, owner was away and left me key to the house, told me where switch heating on and use the kitchen. No ventilation in bathroom
- Patricia (3/5): Poor - Hosts were lovely but didn’t know I was coming despite my booking way in advance - also no postcode provided- had to call mobile no twice and apparently this guy handles bookings .. very disappointed after long journey- hosts were lovely and very apologetic
- Oliver (10/5): Excellent Accomodation - Excellent host, good clean room. All facilities available. Highly recommended
- Nosfer (10/5): Exceptional - All good, recommend
