- Julia (8/5): - Wir hatten ursprünglich ein Zimmer mit Balkon gebucht, beim Check-in bekamen wir jedoch zunächst ein Zimmer ohne Balkon zur Straßenseite (sehr laut). Auf Nachfrage konnten wir dann in ein Zimmer mit Balkon im ruhigen Hinterhof wechseln – dort haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt. (Hinweis: Laut Aussage des Mitarbeiters wird die Info „mit Balkon“ bei der Buchung über Expedia nicht an das Hotel weitergegeben, daher am besten beim Check-in direkt ansprechen.) Das Zimmer war sauber, Betten für eine Nacht in Ordnung, Kaffee und Tee vorhanden. Einen Fahrstuhl gibt es nicht, was für uns aber kein Problem war. Den hauseigenen Parkplatz haben wir genutzt – er ist sehr eng geschnitten, das Einparken war schwierig, aber das Angebot fanden wir preislich fair. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufenthalt für eine Nacht.

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße hin und es war sehr laut, da wir nachts die Fenster wegen der Wärme offen hatten. Der Ventilator war keine wirkliche Alternative. Daher eigentlich sehr zu empfehlen, nur nicht im Hochsommer
- Amanda (10/5): Highly recommended, has all you need. - The Boarding House Heidelberg is the perfect location for you to stay and explore the delightful city. The apartment was spacious with great decor, spotlessly clean, crisp white linen and a large comfortable bed. Only criticism would be the terrible pillows - suggest much better ones needed. The apartment also gives you a spacious bathroom with powerful shower and hairdryer. The small kitchen area is fully equipped with all you need to rustle up food, a fridge, kettle and coffee maker with very good supplied coffee bags, whitener and sugars. The room was very quiet with the windows closed but maybe noisier if they were needed to be open. The lovely lady on reception was very friendly and helpful. We were able to park our motorcycle in the underground parking. This place is a bargain price but offers so much, we would definitely recommend and stay here again.
- Sabine (8/5): Fotos sind nur beispielhaft! - Ich hatte über Expedia ein DZ mit Balkon gebucht und als ich eincheckte, bekam ich ein DZ ohne Balkon, noch dazu im EG in einem ganz anderen Gebäude. Das Zimmer war schrecklich und erfreulicherweise konnte ich ein anderes Zimmer - allerdings auch ohne Balkon - in der Rohrbacher Str. 32 bekommen. Generell wird es beim Buchen auch nicht deutlich gesagt, dass man zwar in der Rohrbacher 32 einchecked, jedoch in einem völlig anderen Gebäude landen kann...
- Chelsea (6/5): - The front door of this hotel never fully locked. Which meant anybody could walk in and out whenever they wanted to. Typically they had a key card access that would let you in and out if you were staying at the hotel, but that was broken. Which meant at any time of day any person who is not staying at the hotel was able to come in Had full access to the hotel. The floor that we were staying on had painting materials and looked like it was being redone. So when we woke up the next morning, there were gentlemen outside painting, and there was paint droplets everywhere, which is not ideal when you’re staying in a hotel and having to worry about not getting stuff on your clothes.

Die Mitarbeiter waren super lieb und hilfsbereit auch extra "Wünsche" haben sie so weit es geht sofort versucht zu erfüllen. =)

- Monika (8/5): - Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer nach hinten, es war wunderbar leise im Hof. Klima funktionierte perfekt, sie war nur ziemlich laut. Leider hatten wir keinen Balkon, obwohl das in der Zummerbuchung als Ausstatungsmerkmal ausgewiesen war und ich mich sehr daruf gefreut hatte. Aber die meisten Zimmer der Häuser haben m.E. keinen Balkon. Es handelt sich um 6 nahe beinander liegende Boardinghäuser, man erfährt beim Einchecken, in welchem man untergebracht ist. Mails wurden immer schnell und vollständig beantwortet. Kaffee und Tee war auch im Zimmer, Spüli etc ebenfalls. Automatisches Einschecken mit Schüllselcode war auch sehr komfortabel. Ich würde es definitiv wieder buchen.

Jeder der klar denken kann weiß was diese Flecken zu bedeuten haben. Ich werde in Zukunft diese Unterkunft meiden. Angekommen wurden nicht mal die Schlafcouch was als drittes Bett bezeichnet wird bezogen erst nachdem ich zur Rezeption gelaufen bin. An der Rezeption angekommen wird mir gesagt das ich Bescheid sagen soll wieviele Leute da sind. Bitte was ? Wenn ich ein drei Betten Zimmer miete hab ihr die Betten zu beziehen und es euch nicht zu interessieren ob ich das Bett belegen werde oder nicht. Am nächsten Tag gehe ich zu Rezeption Frage nach Salz da antwortet mir der Mitarbeiter habt ihr schon den ganzen Salz verbraucht. Ich werde solche Mitarbeiter nie in meinem Leben verstehen. Wir sind zu 3 in einem Zimmer, in dem Zimmer sind 4 Salz Packungen vorhanden nicht größer als eine Ketchup Verpackung aus dem McDonald’s. Bringt euren Mitarbeitern bitte bei was sie fragen sollen und was nicht.

- Verified traveler (4/5): - There was likely a gas leak in the room we stayed in. When we walked in, there was a strong odor I can't describe. We opened the windows and aired the room out before closing them and leaving to continue seeing the city. By the time we get back, the same strong odor was in the room again. I turned off the heaters and we aired the room out a second time. After turning off the heater there wasn't any smellup until we checked out the next morning. Aside from the smell/possible gas leak, the room was alright. The front door did not lock and there was an additional unlabeled switch at the front that cut all the power to the room. At some point before going to sleep one of us must have pressed that switch as when we woke up, none of the electrical worked and our phones had not charged until we realized what the switch did. Overall, it was a disappointing experience that, for me at least, subtracted from our stay in Heidelberg. I do think maybe it could have just been issues with our room in particular and some other rooms in some of the other buildings may be better. We stayed in one of the middle tier rooms for two adults and paid for vehicle parking separate.
- Verified traveler (2/5): Una vergüenza :( - No hubo comunicación de que no habría nadie trabajando por la noche, por lo que no había nadie en la dirección cuando llegué y no se dio ninguna comunicación. Tuve que esperar afuera bajo un frío glacial y una lluvia invernal durante 30 minutos tratando de llamarlos y finalmente respondió un hombre grosero, me dio otra dirección al otro lado de la calle y un código para ingresar. Esta información debería haber sido proporcionada de antemano. Luego, cuando estoy dentro, descubro que ambas ventanas del dormitorio están abiertas y la calefacción apagada. Entonces era -1C adentro, igual que afuera. Había un olor agrio dentro (supongo que es por eso que las ventanas estaban abiertas). Las manijas de las puertas del dormitorio se rompieron en mi mano. El dormitorio nunca se calentaba, así que en medio de la noche, como no podía dormir, me moví al piso del baño y dormí en el piso junto al calentador para calentarme. ¡Una absoluta vergüenza para ellos! Les solicitaré un reembolso de inmediato.

- Julia (8/5): - Leider waren wir sehr enttäuscht vom Check in! Wenn ich hinter dem Steuer sitze kann ich nicht meine E Mails abrufen und bei der Anreise war die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Wäre gut, wenn man das am Anreisetag morgens per Mail schickt. In der späten Mail stand ich soll mich ab 9 Uhr an der Rezeption melden um den Check in (vom Vortag) abzuschließen aber auch am nächsten Tag war die Rezeption nicht besetzt. Bei der Buchung stand auch eine andere Hausnummer wie in der verspäteten Mail, sodass wir erstmal bei der falschen Unterkunft waren.

- A (10/5): - Das Zimmer sowie das Hotel an sich waren sehr gepflegt. Das Hotel ist an einer gut befahrenen Straße, aber unser Zimmer lag Richtung Garten, das war sehr angenehm. Zu Fuß ist die Stadt sehr gut erreichbar. Was etwas unklar war, war die Parksituation. Laut Buchungsbestätigung wohnten wir in Hausnummer 32. Hier war aber lediglich die Rezeption, welche geschlossen war, und die Parkplätze. Über die Notfallnummer erreichten wir sofort einen netten Mitarbeiter, der uns mitteilen, dass wir zur Hausnummer 36 müssen, da wir dort unser Zimmer hätten. Das Parkhaus ist sowas von eng in der Einfahrt, dass wir es sein ließen und einen Parkplatz an der Straße fanden, der übers Wochenende sogar kostenlos ist. Alles in allem....sehr zu empfehlen.
- Seong Ah (8/5): - 하이델베르크에 1박 머무르기 위해 비스마르크광장 인근의 이 숙소를 이용하였습니다. 객실은 청결하였고, 에어컨이 없어 선풍기를 이용하고자 하였으나 먼지가 날려 이용을 포기하였습니다. 그러나 7월 중순 기준 저녁 기온이 시원하여 방충망이 없는 창문을 열고도 모기나 벌레 없이 좋은 공기를 즐길 수 있었습니다. 주방도구(전자렌지 포함)가 모두 구비되어 있어 편안하게 사용할 수 있었으며, 근처에 REWE는 물론 PENNY 슈퍼마켓도 있어 편리하였습니다. 구시가지에 없는 맥도날드도 숙소 근처에 있습니다.
- Keith (4/5): - My wife and I stayed for three nights. There were several problems both in communication by the hosts and in the apartment itself. We were only told by email at 13.30 on the day of our arrival at Heidelberg that the accommodation had changed from BoardingWorld to a Nomad Apartment in a nearby street. The BoardingWorld office was closed (it is only open 09.00-17.00), and access was by safe box and although we had registered as two guests there was only one keycard. (We got another the next morning). The apartment was up several flights of stairs with no lift. The bathroom door snagged on the uneven floor and would not open more than about 35cm. The apartment was very warm and the fan supplied was noisy and of limited use. There are two sets of curtains, one set was very thin and let the light in. The apartment has a small but neat balcony with space for two to sit at a table, and the small kitchen section (basically in a cupboard alongside the wardrobe) is ok for small-scale self-catering, but overall place was let down by a lack of attention to detail. A shame, because with a little more effort the accommodation would be OK.

- Verified traveler (6/5): エレベータの無い分館 - 施設が色々な建物に分かれていて、私の部屋はレセプションの本館ではなく、エレベーターもなく不便で重い荷物をあげるのと、行き来するのが、億劫になるほど大変だった。4階まで階段は無理！

- Isil (10/5): - Sehr nettes Personal, problemloses Check In (konnten sogar eher einchecken), sehr zentrale Lage, sehr sauberes Zimmer. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.
- Dominika (2/5): - Bin sehr unzufrieden mit der Unterkunft und musste in der ersten Nacht schon das Hotel wechseln, da jemand anderes plötzlich bei mir im Zimmer stand während ich geschlafen habe. Die Gäste haben sich im Zimmer geirrt und waren selbst erschreckt, aber es kann nicht sein das eine Notfallkarte der anderen Gäste wie eine Generalkarte funktioniert. Ich kann diese Unterkunft keinen empfehlen. Das Zimmer war sehr in die Zeit gekommen, Wände verdreckt und die Küche hygienisch nicht einwandfrei. Die Rezeption ist leider nicht permanent besetzt, um Dinge klären. Für mich ein schreckliches Erlebnis gewesen, was mich mein Leben prägen wird .

- Verified traveler (6/5): Okay - Das Zimmer an sich war groß und recht schön. Das Bad war leider nicht 100% sauber. Zudem ist es extrem hellhörig, sodass man jedes Mal geweckt wurde, wenn ein anderer Gast ins Gebäude kam und die Tür öffnete (es brummt dann sehr laut). Laut des Hotels sollte die Rezeption ab 9 Uhr geöffnet sein, leider war bei unserer Abreise auch um 9:30 Uhr noch niemand da. Man konnte die Karte jedoch einfach in einen Kasten werfen. Für den Preis okay

- Marco (8/5): OK men ingen Air Condition. - Fin lejlighed men alt for varm. Jeg havde overset, at der ikke var AC, men man kunne godt have åbnet vinduer, før der kom gæster. De første timer var (trods en gulvventilator) ikke den store fornøjelse. Beliggenhed: OK, og endnu bedre når vejarbejde er overstået.

- Iris (10/5): - Ideal für einen Kurzaufenthalt in Heidelberg. Die Altstadt ist fussläufig zu erreichen . Das Zimmer war ruhig und mit allem sehr gut ausgestattet. Die nachträgliche Reservierung eines Tiefgaragenplatzes war kein Problem.

- Malcolm (8/5): - Nice spacious room. Excellent kitchenette with hot plate and microwave and fridge. Staff super friendly and were able to check us in early when we expected to just leave bags. A washing machine would have been top addition to kitchenette, or maybe a couple of machines in the basement, but I really can't complain and would most definitely stay again. Thank you!

- Michael (6/5): So so - We enjoyed the property, and it was in the middle of everything in Heidelberg, but a couple of grapes. We have our that we paid for parking, and it ended up not having a spot so we had to jam ourselves into the parking lot, and at one point, we lost our key card and got back to the hotel, and no one was behind the desk, and it was not that late at night.
