• Priya (8/5): - The rooms were clean and airy. The owner was good and cooperative. Nice view. The location is quite inside and no restaurants are available nearby. we had to walk down 1.5 km to get vegetarian restaurants. Even for tea or coffee no facilities are there. We were given the top floor so every time we had to climb which was difficult for my husband.

• santosh (10/5): pleasant, value for money, clean bed sheets an towels, accessible. basic needs are well managed. - morning view was excellent, owner was helpful, didn't ask for payment unless we made the payment, room were quite big felt like being at home, no unwanted fancy stuff, had exactly what is required. location is accessible near to the main market. owner makes sure he personally manages the guest, more over value for money.

The host was really good, he accommodated the check-ins and check out times as we wanted. The view from terrace was breathtaking…. Must recommend when travelling with big group of friends as it as space for everyone. My friends and I are definitely gonna book the same next time we visit chikmaglur. We even booked the same property 2 years ago, since it was spacious but the host has changed since then. I must say Vijay (the current host) is really doing great. Nothing
• Nelson (10/5): Best stay in Chikmagalur - One of the Best Stays in Chikmagalur I visited Chikmagalur with my wife for a 3-day trip. Initially, our planned stay got cancelled, so we booked this place at the last minute just for one night. But after experiencing the place, we ended up staying here for the entire trip. It turned out to be the best decision. What I really liked: It is located right on the Mullayanagiri route, and the town is also just around 2 km away – so very convenient and peaceful at the same time. The place is very well maintained, neat and clean with a calm atmosphere. I booked it for ₹1200 per night, and honestly, the view from the room was amazing for that price. I had earlier checked some forest stay options, but they were quite expensive and most of them offered bunk beds in this budget. This place, however, gave a private room with a beautiful view and proper comfort. The owner is very friendly and flexible – really a genuine person. Even after our checkout, he allowed us to rest and freshen up before our night bus to Bangalore, and didn’t charge us anything extra. That was a really nice gesture. Instead of going for big estate properties, I feel we should support small business owners like this, who truly focus on guest satisfaction. The place gave us a homely feeling with complete privacy and peace. They also provide high-speed Wi-Fi, which worked really well. I will definitely book the same place again during my next trip to Chikmagalur and will also recommend it to my friends and family. NA

• Akshay (10/5): Excellent, neat and Clean. - Excellent place, quite and calm. It's a 2 BHK house where it can easily accommodate close to 10 people. So if ur travelling a big group or a small family i would recommend it. The house is neat and clean. The property owner suggests you how you should cover the surrounding places. They have a kitchen as well and in case you can cook as all the basic utensils are also there. Overall my stay was great.

The caretaker Mr Vijay is very friendly and we even put a rangoli in the front yard for Sankranthi. There is ample space for parking. The terrace has very good views of the nearby mountains. 💯 Go for it. Nothing serious but a bigger TV and Washing machine in the property would have been excellent 👌

• Aravind (9/5): Excellent value for money. - Value-for-money of the whole property. The promptness of the host to attend to all needs at the homestay. Mr. Vijay also guided us on the good places to visit in Chikkamagaluru. Better curtains to block out stray light at night streaming in from the windows. Also, the window glass is very thin and at night, the sound of 2-wheelers wakes you up because the entire locality is very serene and quiet.

• Balu (10/5): pleasant - Stay was pleasant since it is the last apartment in the street and rooms are pretty well maintained and spacious, we were 4 of us, but, it can sustain easily 8 to 9 people with proper bedding , basic cooking utensils are present in home only for food, we need to travel some half km to 2 kms, which will be fine most cases as we will be out most of time, unless you are planning to stay i apartment and not cooking

The host Mr Vijay was very helpful is suggesting solutions for all the requirements in the town starting from a good place to eat and the best filter coffee in town to what to visit. While I didn’t need it as i was carrying mine, but should keep towels in the room.
