• Harry (10/5): Incredible food, peaceful vibes, and an amzing way to spend a few days - We'd an amazing time staying in Calabrialcubo Agriturismo. The food was absolutely exceptional, both for breakfast and dinner. We also did a pasta making class with the chef Stefano that was excellent too. The town is really quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. We'd some nice hilly walks and plenty of time to just chill out during our three nights there. We stayed in Calabrialcubo Agriturismo. The pool is at the other agriturismo, about a 30 minute walk away. It wasn't a big deal for us and we'd a lovely walk along the river to get to there (and a less hilly walk back through the town) but it's worth noting.

• molinie (7/5): Bien - Chambre et maison ancienne tres bien rénovées. Tres propre et confortable. Melange de vieille pierre et de comfort moderne. Le story telling de la ferme agricole et du couple de fondateur du lieu est très intéressant mais nous ne sommes pas restés assez longtemps pour pouvoir découvrir la ferme et les produits ( huile d olive) et le yoga . Le petit déjeuner est généreux avec gâteau et confitures maison. . Il semble que le restaurant soit très réputé mais idem nous n avons pas essayé . Village ultra typique à côté . Très calme Je n ai pas remarque en réservant le lieu que il y avait en fait deux bâtiments : un avec piscine sur le haut de la montagne avec vue sur la mer et l autre en fond de vallée près d’un ruisseau ( c est un moulin) . Et je n avais pas lu les Commentaire pour avoir l alerte donc nous étions étonné de se retrouver au moulin plus encaisse dans la montagne .
• Atsushi (10/5): Amazing Experience! - Amazing view of the mountains, very close to the seaside by car. The hotel restaurant is fantastic, with everything sourced from the owner's farm. The craft beer they brew themselves is also excellent. Highly recommended for those tired of city life and work. Even just a two-day stay is refreshing.
• Elvira (9/5): Perfect stay . Definitely need to come in summer - Marco is amazing host . Everything what he is doing he is doing from heart . His lifestyle is art to live - with passion and love . He cooked for us nice dinner from his farm products , he fed our dog on his birthday 😀by our special request. room was extremely clean . White . Linen beddings make us sleep like in childhood . For Italian breakfast we had fresh orange juice from his own garden , and tangerines also . Cake and muffins he freshly baked for us in the morning. . But cappuccino was, I think , the best what I ever had ). Everything around has historical touch . Just regret it was heavy rain and gloomy weather, we could not see beauty of mountain river and greenery around .

• Brendan (10/5): Stunning property that exceeded expectations. - The property is amazing. Beautifully renovated with exceptional attention to detail. Highly recommend booking dinner at the restaurant onsite. Food, service, vibe and value for money all brilliant. All food is grown or sourced locally. The property has been in the hands of the same family since 15th Century!! Nothing to dislike, it was one of our favourite stays in Italy.

Rated 1/5 for transparency & guest communication by the hosts. - Breakfast - A traditional Italian marmalade spreads (figs, peaches and Sharon Fruit) local pastries and fruit with coffee, juice and water. Lunch and Dinner - Reasonably priced with set menu and enjoyed the tastes of the local produce including local brewed beer by Calabrial Cubo distillery. The advertising on Booking.com shows that the swimming pool and jacuzzi are included in your stay. It fails to mention that these facilities are not onsite of the accommodation booked. They are situated nearly a 1 mile (1.5 kilometres) offsite where there farm is situated. Not easy to get to unless you drive to it. There was no private terraced veranda as stated for room. Only a shared terrace. No views of the river as stated by Bookin.com advert either. When we arrived the air conditioning unit in our bedroom wasn't working as it kept cutting out. There were cobwebs in both rooms (including new replacement room we were relocated too). The Spanish wife of Marco the Manager was rude when I complained. Especially when I challenged her about no pool, jacuzzi onsite and no terraced veranda to room or river view as advertised on Booking.com. She accused me of calling her a liar. My advise is for her to listen and not cut you off on every occasion you mentioned the issues raised. A bit more transparency by the owners and Booking.com would go a long way in attracting more business. We were the only couple that were staying there (11th to 15th June 2024). Later Marco came around and used excuse that we hadn't looked at his website and that it wasn't his problem. I thought for client guest relations that he would understand and have this mis-advertising changed asasp with booming.com. Passed the blame to booking.com and said couldn't do anymore as had complained previously to them! Bit cheeky too as we had received an email via bookin.com at midnight on 15th day of arrival giving us description that pool, and jacuzzi were offsite. Therefore not allowing us enough time to cancel the accommodation as we had booked it for these facilities. Booking.com customer service werent any better being placed on hold for 30 minutes whilst they tried to contact the owners when we arrived to the above complaints / request cancellation.

• Gabriel (10/5): Exceptional - We arrived in Falerna 2 hours prior to the check in time and we could not find a restaurant which was open so that we can have lunch. Luckily, as soon as we arrived to Calabrialcubo, Marco cooked us a delicious lunch, and treated me and my girlfriend really well. We had the suite over looking amazing views. I will definitely return during summer or hotter seasons. I recommend this place to anyone driving through this area and want to stop to rest a bit before continuing on their journey.
• Anonymous (10/5): So worthwhile the drive - Beautiful place! Hundred years old building was restored in 2010. Everting was super clean. Food was delicious and organic. So peaceful. Nestled in a hill top next to a old village
• Lindsay (9/5): Superb - Exceptionally clean, well presented, attention to detail, and thoughtful design. Lovely restaurant on site for breakfast and dinner. Superb location, very beautiful and tranquil. Nice pool / off-site. The pool was a nice size with a hot tub as advertised with stunning views. Unfortunately, this is actually off-site and requires driving to get there. Although not a deal breaker, it is not as convenient as we imagined. The views are worth travelling to the pool for, though.
