• Hannah (8/5): - Gorgeous, loved the interiors, traditional with a modern twist. Nice bathroom. Fantastic staff and great location. Quite noisy however we’d already read this in reviews so had earplugs and slept well, very comfortable beds.
• Lucy (7/5): Lots of room but not ideal location - After staying in a cramped apartment in Tokyo this was amazing! So big. The beds were very comfortable but they only fit 2. The other 3 were thin mattresses on the floor which was ok for my 3 children (5,7&9) but any bigger and might be uncomfortable. Staff were lovely. Bathroom was great and the washing machine was great. It dried the clothes as well which was helpful when travelling. It’s on a 4 lane road and was quite noisy. I don’t normally hear those noises but even I found it hard to go to sleep. Lucky I had ear plugs. It’s also not central to the action. If you want that book in Gion. However the 207 bus stops right outside and is about 20 mins to the centre so not too bad.

• Audrey (9/5): Right at Toji temple close to Kyoto station, comfy & convenient! - It was private & was across the street from the Toji temple. Convenient to shop at the huge flea market on the 21st of each month!! Towels were super soft & bedding was lovely & comfortable. Very clean & safe & secure. The beds were a little too firm.

• Nagarkar (10/5): The helpfulness of the staff covers up all other faults. - The staff were really cooperative and helpful. They were really kind and helped us as foreigners wherever needed. The water quality was not that good. It was hard water, non potable and not good for skin and hair but apart from that everything was amazing.
• James (7/5): Lovely but extremely noisy - - lovely room, beautifully decorated, spacious - kitchen is great, there was tea and coffee provided - bathroom and tub were excellent - i feel harsh in rating them down, but the place is directly onto a fairly busy road, and it was noisy all day and all night. We used earplugs and a white noise generator. I can't believe no reviews had mentioned the noise up til now???? - best to leave the ac or dehumidifier on, as the room gets very stuffy and humid and smelly otherwise - room is pretty dark with poor natural light - location is a bit far from everything except Toji temple. Great for the temple but not close to much of the transport, Kyoto station, 7-11, etc are all 10min walk
• Mark (9/5): Fantastic and relaxing stay. Recommended. - Lovely, stylish and very spacious apartment on the upper floor(reception beneath)for our 4 night stay, that was both traditional and modern. Handy as had washer/dryer, saved time going to a laundry place. Good location, easy to get taxis anywhere. Was expensive but it was a treat for ourselves. Was advertised as being soundproof but you could hear the traffic as property on main road. Though we were so tired after busy days for it to keep us awake.
